Hi ladies! wow - what a wonderfully active board!

Happy to be a part of it! Welcome to: hello kitty, wunny, washingtonda, laglenik, keisha, doreen & everyone who has joined in over the last week!
Hello Kitty - I use the puregon pen - is that similar? - in my opinion, it is so easy, I wish all the injections were like that...you just insert the meds and "dial-up" the correct amt and give the shot - no mixing or changing needles from big to small ...and changing the cartridge is easy. Really an idiot-proof system. At least for the puregon pen, there are videos you can watch online that show you step-by-step how it works.
By the way, my estimated er is Dec.14 & et Dec.19 - so we are really close! what is the rest of your protocol like?
for the rest of you who are wondering

, the injections are in my opinion much easier than you think they will be! I can never even watch when they take blood from me, but I can give myself the shots and have had no problems so far. The needles for the injections that go under the skin are not very big and go in easily and relatively painlessly. I was surprised myself! give yourself a good pinch and voila -- The ones you might have to do later on that have to go deeper or into the muscle, I had DH do these - for one thing, it was hard to reach and for another, it got him involved. He was so good, I hardly felt a thing. But there are girls who do them all on their own and are just fine. The injection class was helpful for me and put my mind at ease. Best of luck to all of you!
Pumma - guess you are about a week or 10 days ahead of me...24 Dec. sounds like a great test date. Hope you'll get a wonderful gift of a BFP! I'll be testing around Jan. 1...so happy to new year's baby to us, I hope!!
ICSI girl - as for cycling during the holidays - what could be a better way to pass the 2ww than between christmas and new years - at least I hope the 2nd week will go quickly this way! -- actually, my last cycle was way back in July and I've been waiting ever since to start again, so I'm just excited to be able to try again before the year is out. My mother will be visiting us during that time, so she's happy to help us out and relieve me of the hustle and bustle of daily life. In the past, we haven't told a soul while we were cycling- but this time she is in on it and is quite happy to know what is going on before the fact, instead of just after...She doesn't ask a lot of probing questions, which I am thankful for.
esperanza - I do miss Boston -- a great town. glad to hear you had a delicious thanksgiving surrounded by friends! are you from bonaire by any chance? it is the only island off the coast of venezuela where I've been and just fell in love with the place...
to tali and colesmom - hope you both are well. with the holiday season fast approaching, your time to start cycling will be here before you know it! wishing you lots of luck!
