Sorry i have been so crap posting but dont get much time at the moment but will try and catch up soon were doing fine cant believe how much ruby has grown she was weighed last wk and had gained 11ounces in 1 wk she really loves her food just like mammy i would post pics but dont know how to but have posted them on my facebook page i'm still very sore my scar has been playing up and is all sore and very red but hopefuly will get better soon

Hey Girls,

Has anyone heard from Peqe?? I pmed her a few days ago, and nothing. I hope all is ok with baby.

I spent yesterday in the hospital! I went to a clinic b/c I had bad chest pain that wouldnt go away fro 4 hours. My pulse at one time was 140. SO after consulting a bunch of ppl I went to clinic and they did ekg heart was fine - BUt dr was worried I might have a blood clot in lung! SO I got sent to ER and the doc right away was like it is prob acid reflux! I was like for 5 hours straight?? I have had acid reflux and this was not it! So he have me some damn GI cocktail and of course it didnt help! All the tests and chest xray came out fine - WHat ai think it is is pularysi (sp?) inflamation of a membrane in the lung. They ususally treat it with steroids, but cant since I am pg, said it will go away eventually on its own! ugh. So thankfully everything is ok. Dh is out of the country, so I was worried since he was not there with me.

Good news: I finally told my family. They were surprise, upset? that i didnt tell them sooner. We had a mother's day get together today and for gifts for my gma, mom and sister I got them coffee cups that said best aunt in the world, great grandma 2008, and brandma to be again. It took them awhile to figure it out! I ended up telling my mom yesterday bc she met me at the hospital and she would have heard me tell the doctors. But everyone is happy and nieces were thrilled. They have been gegging for a cousin for years!

So that is my news. I am also considering doing a home birth - or at least using a midwife. I found one online I like. My mom had homebirths as did my sister, so we'll see.

Glad everyone is doing well. Shantala - the baby is soooo beautiful, how can you manage to leave her to post a msg??? Congrats girl.

im finally on my way yipee after a three year wait we can finally start again. Not with IVF but using clomid tablets. Im just waiting on my next AF which is any day now. Then i take one tablet on the second day of AF for 5 days then this is were you ladies come in! well im not shure what after that i took these b4 when we did IUI but this time i got these from my GP he just said to have intercourse after taking them but im not sure when this best time is any ideas ladies id be gratful of any suggestions.

sorry about yesterday too - got this wedding in Italy the weekend after next and I searched online for weeks looking for an outfit and can I find one! Then saw one and they had a shop in guildford so hence the trip - but then they had sold the last one on Saturday - damn!!

How are you getting on with your mamas & papas pram system? We have provisionally ordered one but have read different reports on the car seat and I think it is the same as yours - the primo viaggo IP so thinking about changing.

Rachel - how are you ? sounds like you're busy busy busy - although can't think why!!?? Hey and we want some piccies too of Ruby.
Anyway same question to you re the Loola and the creatis car seat - are you finding it really heavy?

As you've guessed - another weekend searching for that perfect pushchair/pram - my head is so dizzy! nothing much else to report on the baby front - 'beanie' is kicking like a tropper especially after chocolate - and I think the energy period is starting to go and getting tired again but then again probably all that pram searching!

Hi nims about the loola we find great but with the car seat we got the base to put it on has it was a bit fiddley to put in the car but with the base its so easy we have not yet used the pushchair has we got the pram has well which is great if you got to go travelling has it locks into the car i dont find it very heavy and have to say we test drove lots of them and this was our favorite got luck at choosing your pram how are you doing not long now

Nims, sorry your having a bad time choosing a pushchair, hope you find the one you want soon, there is not THE perfect pushchair, you always have to compromise on something!! We had a nightmare with twin ones. Hope you have managed to find something for the wedding, i had one a few weeks ago and ended up with just a new top with black trousers,(bit hot in Italy though).

Su glad all is going well, and you have finally done some shopping, not long now for us.

Steph, hope the twins are doing ok, and you not feeling too tired. Take it easy at work when you can. I did the Nuchal scan and bloods, just for us really, i was never going to have amnio etc, just for my own peace of mind. The scan is very detailed, really hi tech machines it was amazing for 12 weeks, we could see them swallow. good luck.

As for me, became another year older two weeks ago, my mum and dad were over from Spain that weeks too, so kept busy. Had my 28 week scan and consultant check last Friday, all is well both babies are head down, so on for a natural birth at the moment, got a prescrition for tablets for my heartburn, they are fantastic. see midwife tomorrow. Can't believe i have less than 10 weeks to go, still got a few bits and bobs to get, mainly stuff for me so doing ok. Enjoying this nice warm weather.

Hey all!!! Working today and not feeling very good at all. I just want to lay down. Very tired today. Don't think I got enough sleep last night. Very nauseas. I want to be in my 13th week and fingers crossed will have no nausea then.

I go to my first OB appt Friday, less than two days. Looking forward to hopefully getting an US. Like Hope said not every doc does them for some reason. Most likely I will also be referred to a high risk doc for some tests because my age, fertility and twins. I don't understand why they did not just refer me to the high risk doc originally. I guess maybe some of them don't deliver? I am not sure. So I will give everyone an update when I get home Friday.

Belly getting big already. I had about 25 extra pounds when I got pregnant, so I had a bit of a pooch already, but it is more pronounced now. Unfortunately, about 10 pounds of that came from FERTILITY MEDS!!!!!

Hope everyone is doing well. I just want to lay my head down. They are draining me today.

nimble - hey hun! how you doing?? any luck on something to wear yet?? oohh, as for the pram. well, we got the pliko pramette from mamas and papas (the travel system) with the car seat. i absolutely love the pram but we've been having real issues with the car seat. when elliana is strapped in the car seat her head hangs forward, especially when the car seat is strapped in the car. we've had it checked and it's definitely in the correct way but the car seat is sat up too straight and she just hangs forward. if we were to have an accident like that her neck wouldnt last two minutes!!!! so i'm not impressed at all and am actually thinking about complaining. so we've been to mothercare and bought another car seat. it does mean i cant clip the car seat on to the pram but then to be honest, ive never used that facility anyway. i prefer for her to lie flat in the pram. i just lift her out of the car seat and put her straight into the pram. just my two cents anyway.

wishfull - is it time for you to join us yet? not long till you start downregging!! oohhh, so exciting!!

as for us, we're doing very well. elliana is a very hungry baby and is feeding every 2 hours but loving every minute of it. she has been struggling with the heat a bit, bless her, so she's just been living in her nappy and a thin vest. as for me, i'm doing well, stitches have all healed now so i can sit, wee and poo again properly!!!
