Anyone transferring early in August??

My clinic didnt tell me anything. I have been doing ALOT of reading. IVF forums, you name it - I've read it. And like you, if I get alot of follies full of eggs, and they find 2 extremely high grade ones... oh, I dont know!!!! I really dont mind having twins - but triplets.... I've only got 2 tits!!! Its a real wait a see game. But, I think you have to prepare for every scenario. If they go day 3 I will do 3 embryos. I really want to have enough to freeze - just incase.

Good Morning ladies, I am sooo sorry for the late reply. So many things have been going on. I did have my ER, Saturday August 2. Out of 13 follicles, only 6 eggs were retrieved. I was so disappointed, and of course everyone kept telling me it only takes ONE... So, Sunday when I got the call, 5 were mature and all 5 fertilized. That did make me feel much better. I am scheduled for my reansfer today at 10 so I am excited. Depending on how my embies are doing, they may call this morning and extend it to Thursday. With the low number, I doubt that happens. My Beta is Scheduled for the 18th, WOW this is happening so fast. Good Luck to everyone....

It is 5:00 in the morning and I am up for no good reason. I think all of this stuff fills my mind and when I wake I can't seem to go back to sleep. So it's either lay there or get up.

Truebeliever- So nice to hear about your fert report. That is great! How many are they planning to transfer? Do they tell you the grade when you get the fert report? I am so so curious about my fert report...probably why I can't sleep! Well let us know how your transfer goes or if they extend it. Your almost at your 2ww!

Rosario- Wednesday will get here fast! Wishing you the best at retrieval, I hope you get 14 out of 14. There was a post from someone where there were multiple eggs in a follie. What a bonus. LOL

Hi everyone, I just got my fert report and they were able to perform ICSI on 11 of the 13, because two were abnormal, and all but 1 fertilized. So I have a total at 10 embies hanging out in their first home, a petrie dish. I really want a picture! They are looking at a 5DT, but will update me on Thurs just incase there are changes to 3DT. Gosh so much can happen in a few days. Hang in there little embies. Someone else named theirs, so I am thinking of clever naming convention my our little ones.

Elizabeth - that's a wonderful fert rate!!! And exciting that they may do a 5DT as well. I'll be watching!

ndgo82 - I don't mean to burst your bubble but I think that 2 days post transfer, a POAS line could be residual from your trigger shot and not a legitimate BFP. I'd test again in 5 days or so.

I don't want to get excited but I have been super tired. That was my strongest symptom on my last BFP.

Good Afternoon Ladies. Well I did receieve the call this morning, I was told my 5 embies all looked great and they chose to extend culture till Thursday. That was such exciting news, never expected that with such a low number of embies. I did not receive data on what grade they are, just them telling me they look great was enough for me I look forward to 11:15 Thursday, August 7th for my 5 DT and for this 2WW. I am praying and have fingers crossed for everyone. I actually like the 5 DT, only have to wait 11 days for Beta test....LOL

How exciting Truebeliever! It sounds like your 5 embies are going strong. You will very soon be on your 2ww. I can't wait to join you. My transfer is scheduled for Sat., but I still need to wait for the call on Thurs. I will be thinking of you when you go in for transfer. Then I will be thinking stick embies stick! How many are you planning to transfer?

Hello to you all. Im pretty shattered after doing an 8hr round trip for u/s and learning right ovary is useless - only 1 follie! But the left is working hard, it has 10. Half of me is disappointed with result, the other half thinks its not bad for my age... dont know... I really want a couple of good ones to plant, 3 really, and a few to freeze. I'm not sure that many follies will do that for me.

Oh Biddy, I am sorry to hear about your right ovary. Good thing your left is trucking right along. That is a real good number of follies for one ovary. I know a higher number always seem to sound better, but I have also heard that too high seems to reduce the grade. I am not sure how accurate that is, but I figure numbers from 5 -13 are really good. So hang in there.

As for the thread, well I read most of the them, and I post to July 22 and to this one. I considered jumping on the Aug buddies thread, but I haven't because I felt like I would be rewriting the same stuff over and over. Many of the same names appear in multiple threads, and there is a lot of different stuff happening in each. I respond to the two I mentioned and once in awhile to threads with specific questions. Its all good.

Well I am wishing you the best, just don't worry...all you need is a couple of good ones to transfer and a few to freeze...you will get it!

Thanks soo much for the encouragement. We plan to transfer 2 blast tomorrow. That is the max my RE will do with me being under 30. I am EXCITED and hoping that they stick as well. Our insurance only helps cover 1 IVF cycle, and since we had such low number of eggs there may not be any to freeze so this may be our only hope.. Everyone please say a prayer for me.... I will drop a line over the weekend to see how everyone is doing and to give an update..

As for me no changes. I will get news tomorrow early to how my embies are doing. We are still on for a 5dt on Saturday. I started the pio capsules today and I am laying down right now so I can get full absorbtion. I expect this to be a bit messy. Still I rather this than another shot. I hear the shots are brutal. What are all of you planning to use or using shots or supps?
