doppler?

Post by children »

Carolyn,

So happy to read your news. If you are as nervous as me, you could rent a doppler. I found it kept my sanity. I returned it 1 month ago since the baby started to move at 16 weeks. However, I had few times that I did not feel the baby move when I am sick of severe cold, flu or diarrhea...I regretted that I did not keep it until delivery!

Anyway, best of luck!

Dear Ladies

Just a real quickie to thank you all for the continued support & to give a good news update ahead of the weekend.

Been hard as my sister had symptoms and then all seemed to disappear which was good for her but concerning for me. She seems so well which is great really but makes it near impossible to believe that it is really happening.

Anyway, after an hour and half of stressful waiting, I saw my little one moving around. It seems like a little person now with two arms and two legs. It was so bloody cute. It was all over so quick that they did not even show my dh. I felt upset that he could not see our little un but it does not matter in the great scheme of things.

The main thing that matters is our little one is doing well. Beween 3cm and 4cm. They could not get a good read as their equipment is rubbish and the little un was moving around so much doing flips!

Could have watched for hours & hours! So our ivf clinic discharged us. How weird is that. We just need to give them the info from the scan at 12 weeks and then hopefully my sister can stop all the meds too.

Scan on Tuesday at Birmingham Woman's Hopital so only 4 days til I can see my little one wave again!

Enjoy the weekend. Thanks for all the continued support. Means the world to me that I can come on here and tell everyone our news. I have told so few people as still so dam scared.

Lots of Love

Carolyn,

One day at a time, hang in there! Pg is a long and nerve wracking process, one can never take it for granted. We are here to hope your journey is a smooth one. I have been very nervous for both of my pgs. I only got to see our little one once at 20 weeks after 9 week pg, and then never again until the baby was born!

One day at a time, hang in there, all will be good!

Beckster - hope all well with you babe. Where has your ticker gone? Hope that you are doinng ok with the wait to the first scan. When will that be? Thank you for checking up on me hun! Quick. It feels like 8 years since test day!!!!!!!

Rachel - hope that all well. Nice to see your ticker moving along.

How cool that the three of us are all having little uns at nearly the same time!!!

All fine at hospital on Tuesday. They moved dates on by 5 days as the bean measured 51mm although I have refused to alter my ticker as believe IVF dates and also that gives me a due date on my Mum's birthday. All well and my dh got a better look this time. Waving away. They looked after my sister well which is the main thing. Lady taking bloods was in tears when she heard it was an 'ivf' miracle. She was even further blown away when my sister said that it was not even 'her' miracle! Scan lady added my name to scan pics along with my sisters name which was so considerate.

So we get the nuchal scan done privately on Thursday in Birmingham. So hope all will be well especially given the age of my eggs.

If all well then we will take the plunge and start telling people. Seeing one of my bestest friends tomorrow and not sure that I can keep quiet any longer. I am so chatty and can normally never keen a secret. Simply cannot believe that I have kept it quiet for 12 weeks. Think that it is because I don't want to jink things.

To top of my family happiness, my younger sister called today and her boyfriend proposed last night. He is a nice chap - after some horrors before. I am so totally happy for her. My Mum is also getting close to total happiness now!!! He did the whole bit of getting down on one knee in the restaurant. He even bought the ring and my sister loves it. Not sure whether they'll get married next year. WOW. What a year that will be!!!

Love and thanks to you all. Please keep cheering me on treasures.
