Welcome to all the newbies!

Sokru8, Have you and your husband had any more discussions regarding going ahead this June? I hope that you're able to get him on board, because it's evident that you want more children! Your twins are adorable, BTW! Keep us posted.

Wishful27, I, too, am very curious about the thawing process. I know that every clinic is different. I plan to ask mine more questions. My embryos were frozen at Day 3, so if they thawed mine the day before my last FET, does that mean they implanted them on day 4??? I plan to ask when I call next.

AFM, I start my Lupron on Thursday!!! I'm so anxious to get this going. My FET should be planned for June 11th if all goes well!

I am new to IVF, and am terrified. My husband and I have been together for nine years, and married for 1 ½ years. We started trying for a baby right after the wedding. After a frustrating year of TTC, we were both tested for infertility. My husband has low motility. We were scheduled to have IUI in May, but we found out his motility is worst than initially thought. Our doctor recommended IVF w/ ICSI. I started BCP on April 30th and on May 23rd I began injectables (I can’t believe I am going to put a needle in my belly). My expected retrieval is June 4th.
I have been reading everyone’s entries, and finally got the courage to post.
Happy I am able to share my thoughts with everyone.

Welcome Nicole - IVF and all the needles seem really scary at first but once you take those first couple of injections you realize it isn't so bad. I can't say it is fun but the needles are really small and really don't hurt that much. Good luck to you on your cycle, I think you might be our first BFP!!!

Rosario
- Where is AF? Do we need to do the AF dance for you so we can get the show on the road?

sbr - Congrats on getting to start lupron. Once the injections start, things seem to go quickly.

belle-02 - I hate BCP's but taking them means you are closer to starting your cycle. At least with BCP's you know that once you are through with them you can start your stiims. Did you find some good prices for your gonal F ?

AFM - AF is here so I get to go have my testing done today. I will be getting my blood drawn to test FSH, AMH, NKcells and ICI. Then I will also be doing an U/S to check antral follicles. YEY!!! So much fun. I think they will be putting my on estrace soon.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Wow -so many new ladies since the last time I checked in. Welcome to all of you! It will be great getting to know all of you over the next few weeks.

I started norethindrone today and will start Lupron on Friday. My down reg US is scheduled for the 18th, and the transfer is still scheduled for the 3rd or 4th of June. Less than a month away! I can hardly believe it.

Hope you are all doing well! Thanks Chris for making the list :)

to_have_fun08 Please do the AF dance for me... HELP!!!!!! I think it should be here no later than Wed next week. My legs hurt and i am definitely getting cramps. I just hope it doesn't show her face this weekend because I am heading to NY and it wouldn't be nice to have to drive back up 4 hrs shortly after arriving to NY to start doing the u/s. Dance for me but please not too much =]

Chris—Thank you for welcoming me and adding me to the list.
To All—it is helpful to read about others in my situation. I don’t know anyone who has gone through IVF. Since we have been TTC, everyone we know has had a baby or is pregnant. Our friends and family keep asking us when we are going to have a baby, someone for their babies to play with.
Take care,
Nicole

Wow, I can't believe how much this board has grown!

It looks like my FET will now me in July rather than June. My dh wanted to push it back a little bit b/c he is worried about possible layoffs at work. So I have decided to nurse for a few more weeks and then hopefully will be ready to begin BC at the end of the month.

Has anyone in this cycle group had a FET before?

ok girls...I gotta join ya!

I just got a bfn 2 days ago...and I recognize a few names here from the march/april cyclers, so I have to come and join. I met with RE today and he said 8-10 wks for FET, so if I calculated right, I will be early to mid july without delays.

Just a quick story about me...for those of you who don't know me...

I did my first ivf back in dec 07 and was blessed with a bfp on my first try. My beautiful daughter Ella was born this past august, and her website is in my signature if you would like to see how cute she is for yourself! I just turned 28, dh is almost 33. I have no reproductive issues myself, but dh has extremely low count and poor motility. He has gone through TESE twice now...ouch! We just tried our second fresh cycle hoping for a sibling for ella and were not so lucky this time. We have 4 frosties from this cycle and plan to transfer 2 on an upcoming FET, this will be my first FET.

I have to go back and read everyone's posts so I can catch up here. Also, I don;t know if you have a list yet, but as many of you know, I don;t mind keeping the list, as I am on here a lot and a frequent poster. I actually enjoy doing it as it helps me keep track of everyone and keeps me occupied, and I love to jazz it up with the pics...so just let me know if you want me to do it :D

The thread is growing! I'll try a few personals!

CT_Michele: Welcome! You'll very soon be over your BFN and be back ready as ever to try again. It's so unfortunate that it takes so long inbetween tries. My time has come! I started Lupron today! Looking at your protocol, it appears that we're basically doing the exact same thing. Hopefully we'll get our second miracles together this time!!!

Wolffie: This is going to be my second FET. It's so much easier than a fresh cycle. It's almost "boring"!!! I'm sorry that your DH is worried about his job. Timing is always so tricky with IVF!

nicksgam: Welcome! It definitely seems like everyone around us is pregnant or having babies when we so desperately want one. Your time will come. You've found a great place to connect with others in your same boat!

Rosario: How's the AF situation?

EYCI: Looks like you'll be a week before me. The docs said I'd be ready to go by the 4th, but I'm going to stall a week since I'll be wrapping up my school year. My last day of work for the summer is June 10th, so the 11th is going to be my ET.

to_have_fun08: Thanks so much for putting together the list. That definitely helps. Are you doing a fresh cycle or a FET? How many times have you tried? I'm definitely wishing you luck this time. My heart goes out to all of you that are on your multiple tries. I was so lucky to get pg with my first fresh cycle. Being on this website shows me just how lucky I am.

Belle-02: How is the pricing going? Have you heard back from Freedom?

AFM, I started Lupron today! I'm finally back at it. It's been less than a month since my BFN, but it's seemed like ages! I praying this one will work. I have 5 frosties left. I'll be transferring two. I worry about the quality even though my ER says they look great. My clinic doesn't give specifics on grade, etc. So, I can only trust him!

It's a beautiful spring day here! I hope you're all having a great day!

to_have_fun08- I just saw that you put together a list...If you want, I can copy what I had going over on the march/april cycle buddies and just plug in the names of the people here....I had some pretty nice graphics there. I also am on this site multiple times per day so it is easy for me to keep up with it. Just let me know, I actually really enjoy doing it. I had fun on the march/april thread keeping it, and would be honored to do it here too, but I don;t want to be pushy or anything :D

Michelle - I was sorry to hear about your BFN. I was going to post on your other thread but just haven't felt like posting much these days. You can take over the list. It doesn't bother me. I will help you out with it if you want. I know it is so hard to keep up with everyone.

sbr - I will be doing another fresh cycle in July. This will be my 7th cycle but only my 3rd transfer, Well keeping my fingers crossed that I make it to transfer. I am with an new RE this time. I am really hopeful because this clinic has a really good protocol for poor responders. So I am leaving everything in their hands and will try not to stress. Congrats on starting lupron.

nicksgam - This board has been a life savor for me many many of times in the past year. I don't know what I would do without it. There isn't too many people I know who understand what I am going through. Most everyone is fertile mertile and will be PG a month after going off the pill.

Rosario - How you doing? I only did a small AF dance to keep here away till after your weekend is over. Have fun in NY.

EYCI -- You are so close to getting everything rolling. This time next month you will be close to being PUPO.

Wolffie - Keeping my fingers crossed that your DH doesn't get laid off. This economy sucks. At least with pushing off your FET you get to BF another month and save some money on formula.

AFM
- I am tired of DR. and doing tests. Last March I found I had high liver enzymes. I am blaming this on all the IVF drugs and IM injections but just to be sure I am having them checked out. Had to do blood work for that last Friday and the do and U/S on my gal bladder, liver, kidney and pancreas today. Tuesday I had to go see the RE for u/s to get AFC and then do more blood work for NKcells and ICI cells. Appointments and test seem to never end. Once the DR get the results I have to set up more appointments to go over the results. UUUGHHH. This is on top of doing acupuncture once a week and trying to go to school. I think I just need a big huge margarita right now. Can you tell by me new siggy?

sbr Af is still not here. In a way I am happy since I am going to Ny this weekend. I just wouldn't want to head up to MA right when I get to NY. Anywho... I say sometime early next week. I already have all the symptoms achy legs, cramps, and the famous runs... Just patiently waiting... =]

to_have_fun08 Hun thanx for the dance =]

I was last on the jan/feb/march board so here I am yet again. I had 2 IVF cycles (both were cancelled after ER) and will be doing PGD and FET mid june. My last cycle was cancelled due to severe OHSS. I took some time off but I am back and hopefully this will work for me.
I got AF yesterday so I am going in to RE the day after Memorial day for BW then to start lupron. I am actually looking forward to this FET since it seems to be easier than IVF. I dont need to go in every day for BW and sonos which is great for me since RE is almost 2 hours away.
Well good luck to everyone!
