just wanted to respond to the flu stuff..... Dakota, I know that you can have an allergist do the flu shot over a long period of time to watch for reactions and know that they can react if something happens. I guess its just up to how much you want them to get it.

As far as food....Jack eats alot! He usually has 20-24 oz of formula a day plus 4-5 stage 2 jars of food. Plus 3-4 oz of oatmeal and a full yogurt! And he is only 17 lbs! He loves to eat and then runs it off!
He is standing now! he pulls himslef up on everything and now everyday when I go into his room he is standing in his crib with a big smile! It is so cute, but also annoying becasue I have to be right beside him always becasue he is faling constantly!
His bw went well yesterday! He was such a trooper! I will let you guys know the results when they come in. Dakota-- I can't belive you have had all those reactions! I dont blame you for wanting the tests!

Oh and I started Lupron 3 days ago! Here we go again!!!!!

Neffi - Good luck with your cycle, I'm totally jealous :) Trying to talk DH into it, but so far he's not biting! I figure I'm not yet sleeping, so why not have another child now before I get spoiled :) Wow, Jack is quite the eater isn't he..and only 17lbs after all the food, he must be a mover!

Dakota - Don't you just love the jabbering, it's so damn cute! Although all Audrey is saying these days is dada, but I'm working on the mama every chance I get :) The walker will probably help Gracie get the idea of movement and then you'll wish she was just laying around :)

ftg - Good to hear from you and happy Liam is doing well. I nursed Audrey during take-off and landing and she didn't have a problem at all with her ears. Good luck!

Children - Wow, 6 teeth! Your DH seems pretty advanced with all the potty stuff too, that's great.

Well Audrey has had the seasonal flu shot, but not the H1N1. Our pedi just got them in and they're for the 2-3yr olds first, but not yet sure if we'll get Audrey's even when they have more.

Audrey finally crawled on all 4's the other day, but became lazy and went back to army crawling :) She's pulling up on everything and wants to stand constantly. We find her often trying to stand up in her crib, anything to not sleep at night. We're still working on the night sleeping thing and she's sometimes up fussing/crying for 2 hours. I'm not sure what else to do, since letting her cry isn't working. Other than that she is doing great and growing like crazy. She's in 9 and 12 month clothes, so I feel like I'm constantly at Target buying something new. She probably doesn't need anything new, but I'm a sucker for cute little outfits :)

Well I'm so glad to hear everyone is doing well and the babies are nice and healthy. I hope Gracie and Jack's allergies get better and they're both able to eat whatever they want very soon!!

boy,

it took me a while to catch everyone's news! Great to hear from our Feb. Moms. Sorry for your little ones who reacted to food badly. I don't know why so many kids have allergies these days. We had flu shot for DS but not for DD, who is 2y7m now, since we have not had a chance to take her in. We will do it early Nov. Since we send both of them to the daycare, a germ incubator, we kind of have to do flu shots. I guess for the ones who don't send your little ones to the daycare, you don't need to have it. Flu shots are not that effective anyways.

DS is 8m2w now and yes, he is all over the places and he asks to get down if we hold him. He likes to use his walker and I remember DD was also very happy about walking around the house with the walker. they move around and mess up everything they can reach. You can imagine the house is a mess. We now have helper to come in to clean our house once in two weeks. We constantly cleaning the floor and tidy the house also. Even this, cannot keep up!

DS also starts to clap and wave bye-bye intentionally now - he does not actually wave, but he tries. It is more fun to watch him try since he is quite focused and serious when he listens to our requests. He often winds up putting two hands together and wave up and down. As I said, DH said his little son is very smart. I hope so!

Ever since he is in 100% formula in day time, his pooping pattern changed. Although he still does it once a day, we can no longer predict when the time is anymore. He still sits on potty to pee though.

I guess everything is a phase...

ok, time to pick up these little buggers. talk to you all soon!

I have one word about teething...UUUHHH!!!! Holy crap!!! Gracie has finally cut a tooth and she has been a BEAR all day today!!! Her bottom left broke through yesterday and today her bottom right broke and man o man. She cried all day today and refused a nap. I cannot believe she made it the whole day without sleeping, I am sure that contributed to the crying. Anyway.....

Children- How SO cute that your little one is clapping. I bet that is a sight to see:)

Neffi- How exciting! I wish you the best of luck!!! How cute that Jack is standing up in his crib when you go in the moring to get him. I get a kick out of Gracie talking to herself and blowing bubbles in the morning. I watch her on the monitor before I go in to get her and she dances, its so funny. She lays on her back and shakes her hips. hehe!!

Angram- I was reading where some babies just dont respond to CIO. I read that one women used that method on her son for 4 months!!!!! Can you imagine?!?!?! And it still didnt work!!! I got a book from Dr's Sears that talks about some babies just dont respond to that, they are high needs babies. I hope you can find something that works well for you guys. I understand all to well fighting with sleeping issues. Once I think we get it worked out all hell breaks loose.

Gracie started to crawl today. Not "take off", but she goes about 5 feet, but only when she really wants something. She started this am and by the evening she was moving much faster. It takes her a while to get going, but I figure by the end of the week she should be cruising pretty well.

We bought Gracie the cutest most productive coat today. I got it at Sams Club, its Osh Kosh and the liner that zips in the coat comes out and is a jacket as well that can be reversable. Love it!

Where is everyone?????

Gracie is getting big and moving all over the place. She is pulling up on everything, even the wall. She loves her walker and takes off running in it.

She is also having major sleeping issues. I am going bonkers!!!

Hope all is well with everyone.

Hi Dakota, I'm here! Audrey is a mover and a shaker as well, can't keep her still! We bought her a walker a couple of weeks ago and she goes as fast as she can, until she runs into the wall or furniture :) We're also still working on the sleep thing!! Last week I was letting her CIO (as I try to do as often as I'm able to stand it) and DH finally caved. We went in there and she had pooped all over the place, I felt like the worst Mom ever! She ended up having a really bad stomach bug and had diarrhea for several days, with a 102.5 temp. Now I go in anytime she fusses more than a few minutes..will this madness ever end :) She was better last night and I didn't go in her room one time, just watched her on the monitor. She woke 2-3 times and played in her crib, then finally went back to sleep and slept from 7:30-6:30. What's up with Gracie, just can't sleep?

Is anyone else having discussions about another baby? We've been talking about it for a couple of months, and DH is terrified of doing IVF again. He feels we were so blessed with a perfect, beautiful and healthy child and doesn't want to risk going back again for another. The lack of sleep for both of us isn't helping matters either! I keep telling Audrey to work with me, if she wants a sibling :) We're going in for a consultation in January, but if DH agrees to do it again, he only wants to transfer 1 embryo, no discussion. I understand the risk of twins, but I really want it to work and I'm concerned with only transferring 1. Anyway, sorry for the lenghty post but had to get it off my chest. I really want another child, if only for Audrey to have a sibling. I have 4 sisters and cannot imagine growing up as an only child.

Anyhoo, how's everyone else doing? Everyone have a great Halloween? Audrey was a bumble bee and a darn cute one at that :) If I can figure it out, I'll post a pic on the thread.

Hope all is well.

Hey Ladies!

Just popping in to say Hi! We had our transfer last friday. We transferred two blasts so I am hoping for good news next week. Jack is doing great! I hate to brag-- but he is the best sleeper! We dont ever get up with him at all. He is great with that. He has been cranky this week...he is getting 4 teeth! I guess Id rather them all come at once. He didnt seem bothered by the first two, but now he is grouchy(sp?). We went to the allergist and he is def allergic to eggs and peanuts. We dont kow the severity of the peanut allergy, but that can be life-altering. I hope his is not that bad! Thankfully he did not react to the flu shots. He got the seasonal and H1N1. I also got the H1N1 today. I was really worried about getting a high fever with my embryos. I work in pediatric healthcare and and surrounded by sick kids. Hope you are all well and enjoying Mommy-hood!

Neffi- I am routing for you!! I hope all goes well, I am excited for you as well. Sorry to hear Jack has those allergies. I took Gracie for the test but they couldnt get enough blood. They want to do a re-test, but I dont know how I feel about that. It was horrible, she was shaking and screaming because they were moving the thing around in her arm trying to get blood. She has bruises on her arm from them holding her arm so forcefull. If I do agree again I will be taking her to Childrens Hospital.

Angram- Oh no, poor Audrey!! I hope she didnt have the bug long. I feel for you on any sleeping issues. I am about to have a break down myself. I dont know what happened with Gracie. I always had to rock her to sleep and gradually I was weining her from it. I went from hours down to only having to rock for 10 mins and lay her down only half asleep then in the middle of the night if she woke up she was able to put herself back to sleep, we were making huge progress. Then all of a sudden it stopped. She was waking every 45 mins all night long and it would take me up to 4 hours before I could get her back into her crib. Then during the day because she was so tired she wouldnt nap and all she would do is rub her face on the floor and cry. She and I were both so miserable. It started to get better for about a week, now we are back to it again. I dont know what is going on??? I've taken her to the Dr and nothing is wrong with her. The Dr said we need to do CIO. We've tried it and we were not seeing any progress so we stopped. I've heard from alot of people some babies just dont respond to it. A month later they will still cry for 4 hours before falling asleep. I just dont think I can do that. When we did try, she would throw up and would be covered in sweat from head to toe, she would beat her head on the bed. I just didnt think that was ok. Some babies do great with CIO, 3 days tops, not Gracie. She has a very stubborn streak in her. We are fighting with "NO" right now. She knows what it is, but she doesnt listen. I've even "slightly" tapped her hand and jerked her away from outlets and so forth, but she goes right back at it. Uuuhhh....she is such a challange  Love her to dealth though :P

I dont want Gracie to be an only child but there is NO way I could deal with another baby right now. Gracie is such a trying one. I think maybe when she is 2 we will start discussing IVF again. I only have 1 embryo frozen and its not good quality and I dont think it will make it during thaw. So we would have to start from scratch again.

I cant wait to get Gracie's picture taken with Santa. Anyone else doing this?? Bass Pro is having free pictures, so we'll start there first and see how they turn out.

If I could figure out how to post pictures I would. We dont have a "website" nor am I on facebook. I keep meaning to, but just dont.

Sorry for the book!!!

Hope all is well with everyone!!!

hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that my beta was 199! I have bw again on Friday and then hopefully an u/s the week after next. I am really hoping that this works out. I am so worried since I had my m/c in June. I am so on edge. Anyway, wish us luck!

As for Jack....he is my little angel. He is getting 4 teeth so he has been a little crumpy, but he is so good. We are definitely getting pictures with Santa! I am excited for Xmas this year. Jack will love the wrapping paper! He loves things that crinkle and he was smash! He loves playing in the leaves!

Hope you are all doing well and have a wonderful holiday season!

Neffi - OMG, that is wonderful news!!! I completely understand the worry, but I bet you and DH are over the moon! Congratulations and keep us posted.

We're planning an IVF consultation in January, so really hoping DH is on board and we move forward early next year. We're heading to the Olympics in February, so we'll wait until after we get back before we get started. He's still very hestitant, so we'll see what happens.

So Audrey is on her 3rd double ear infection in 2 months, so we have an appt with the ENT in a few weeks. Not sure if they'll recommend tubes, so we'll see. I just want her to feel better, poor little muffin.

Other than that we're just getting ready for the holidays. Planning another road trip next week to see my family, let's hope it's WAY better than the 5 hour trip we took to the beach last weekend. Audrey cannot handle more than 2-2 1/2 hours in the car, anyone have any recommendations? The trip next week is 4, so we're a little stressed just thinking about it.

Well I hope all is well with everyone, it's been great hearing all of the stories and I look forward to more.

What has happened to all of our girls????

Neffi- Congrats!!! Have you had your next round of BW?

Angram- How exciting for you guys. One, for going to the Olympics, two for starting another consult in Jan.
Wow, another ear infection. Poor little thing!! My neice gets ears infections alot. She is such a good baby 99% of the time, but when she gets an ear infection she turns into a bear. I feel for you and your little Audrey. What we do on our road trip may not be an option for you. Because our trips are 12 hours long, we leave at Gracie's bedtime, right after her bath and into her PJ's. I load her up in the car and we hit the road. Within 30 mins she is out and she sleeps through all the gas stops and whatnot until we stop at a hotel around 1-2am. She is up about an hour (as we are trying to unload and get situated), then I put her back to sleep. The next day our travel is about 4 hours and we dont hit the road from the hotel until its nap time. She will sleep 2 hours. When she wakes its lunch time so we stop to eat, I feed her then we only have about another 2 horus to go and I will sit in the back seat with her and she plays and I read ot her and what not. Goes pretty well for us.

I am so excited for Christmas!! I've been doing shopping already and DH is putting up our lights this weekend:) I bought Gracie's dress for her Santa picture. I cant wait for her to open gifts. She LOVES paper. I will scrunch one up into a ball and let her play with it. It will occupy her for an hour!

Did everyone else but me loose all of their baby weight? I am struggling!! Being on bedrest killed me as I gained 60lbs, I still have 25lbs to loose:(

Hope all is well with everyone. Would love to hear how the MIA's are doing.

Dakota - We're planning to the same for our roadtrip tomorrow, we're heading out at Audrey's bedtime. I'm hoping she sleeps the entire way, so keep your fingers crossed :) I cannot imagine driving 12 hours with her in the Car, and there's absolutely no way DH would do it :) Audrey's daycare is closed the week after Christmas, so she and I will be flying to my parents that trip, which will hopefully be a little better.

I'm so excited for Christmas as well, but haven't started any shopping as of yet! I really need to get started ASAP. We had family pictures taken a few weeks ago, so we're getting lots of them framed for gifts, since I have a huge family. My sister does it every year, so now I get to do the same.

I'm sorry you're having an issue with the weight, but I'm guessing bedrest did not help you at all! I cannot remember, did you breastfeed Gracie? I breastfed until last weekend (milk supply has gone way too far down), which helped me lose the weight in the first 6 weeks. I know it doesn't work for everyone though, so best of luck to you with the last 25! I'll cheer you on :)

Children - Good to hear from you and have an excellent ski trip and Christmas break in Mexico. Sounds wonderful!

Neffi - Excellent 3rd beta, I'm so excited for you guys! Did you not have an u/s with your RE?

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. What a wonderful year it has been and we have so much to be thankful for!!
