CYCLE BUDDY DAY 1 AUG 3??

great news! i have 24 follies growing. one at 11, one at 10, and 2 measuring at 9. they have decreased my fsh from 225 to 75 b/c "i responded so well." my E2 is 541. now i have to take lupron, fsh, and repronex. anybody know anything about repronex?

miner: i wish i had read your post before i talked to the nurse. i didn't ask for any info she just gave it to me. i'm trying not to obsess but we'll see. at least i only have to wait one day for more bw and u/s to see if there has been any progress. good for you for standing up for yourself and not getting overwhelmed and stressed trying to go the reception. if we don't focus on us, then who will? after we get our BFPs, it will all be about our babies anyway, so we might as well indulge while we can!

mjay- that's wonderful news! Trust me, you have absolutely nothing to obsess over. You and ladybug seemed to respond similarly to the meds and she's going in for her retreival tomorrow! 24 follies is great too, good for you! Thanks for the support, i'm keeping up the positive PMA and trying not to think about what everything means, but sometimes I slip up and find myself going down that road.

miner- yes, relax and take it easy. My mom emailed me a couple of days ago and asked if I wanted to get together with her and my sister. I told her thanks but no thanks. I just recently found out that my sister is pregs and I have been able to handle it well in emails and phone calls, but if I see her face to face, I might not be too convincing. I told my mom that I just need some time right now. For the first time, I feel like she understands that! I'm sure your family will understand that this is a stressful process. Don't be sad! It's your time to spoil yourself, so get that massage! Ha ha, I told dh my appt. time for my hair and told him, "feel free to call them and add on a massage". I think he thinks I was joking

Mjay- No biggie. I am glad that you got great news! WOW 24 follies! That is awesome. And the sizes are good too! Have they given you a tenative date for retrieval??? Sorry, I am not familar with repronex. What is it for? Well ejoy your weekend and keep those eggs growing!

I am with you on the whole family thing right now.. DH and I told each other that we wanted to keep this process very private, just between the two of us. But for some reason this month, of all the months in a year, our families and friends have decided to bombard us with invites and questions that we are just not prepared to answer. So it has gotten a little stick this month and more people than we wanted to know now know what we are doing.

I just don't want to have to answer the questions if it does not work out. Anyway... PMA!!!! Right!

Relax and enjoy your weekend... GL at your appointment tomorrow...

I understand the whole family/friend thing- just out with friends 1 just had a baby- unmarried, and not too sure how happy the relationship is, but anyway- i am doing much better w/ that- its when people start asking- so when are u having kids that is hard, my answer is- we have a dog, she's enough of my baby, and i can lock her in a crate w/o CPS calling- wish people would stop asking! But my answer usually quiets people

hey ladies! this thread has been pretty quiet this weekend. everyone ok? quick update, my 24 follies are now all between 10-13 in size and i have 9 more! i'm getting kind of freaked. is this normal?

hi ladies,
I went to post on Saturday with an update, but I was on my laptop and I hit the back button and my whole message was deleted, so I gave up and put it away. Anyway, I have an update, I went on Saturday and I had 18 follies and they were all getting pretty big, but not big enough, so they told me to come back Monday. My E2 was 956. I went today and I don't have the b/w results yet. u/s looked great though.

mjay- don't be worried, I went Wednesday and had 17 follies, Saturday, I had 18, and today I have almost 40! The u/s tech yelled "oh my god" when she saw the left side. She stopped counting at 25 on the left side and 12 on the right. They're all getting pretty big, around 17, 18, 19, so she said they'll probably have me come back tomorrow for another check. I guess it'll all depend on the b/w results. Anyway, I think it's totally normal for you to have more. What great news, you're going to have lots of frosties!!!

Miner- No massage for me this weekend

, but I did get some much-needed cleaning done. Hope you spoiled yourself over the weekend!

Fitz- I love your response. I tell people the same thing about my two dogs. We do treat them like babies.

Yeah, the dog response is much quicker and easier to give. I am on day 2 of stims, and have been tired and crampy is this normal?

Well, the retrieval is set for Wednesday. I do the Ovidrel injection tonight and I don't do anymore stims. I'm super excited!

Fitz- I think it's normal. I was crampy at first and then I started to feel twinges on my sides like the little follicles were popping up or something. I was exhausted too (still am!). I tend to get a decent amount of exercise, but last week, it was next to impossible. On Saturday, I went to bed at 7 pm and didn't wake up until 7 am. So, unless there's something wrong with me too, yeah, I think it's normal

mjay- thanks! I'm really excited and after I got off to a slow start last week, I didn't think it would be here so quickly. Your 33 follies will be there in no time! Did you see Cavalia yet?

Hey ladies,
hope everyone is doing ok. I had my ER on sat and now I have my ET tomorrow 8/18. Im soooo excited. They got 19 eggs but im a shared donor so I got 9 and the other lady got 10. Of my 9, 8 were mature and 6 fertilized. So they will transfer 2 tomorrow. I pray all goes well.

JG_379: My estrogen they said was good but they wanted me to watch out for OHSS or something like that so I had to monitor my input and output. But everything is fine. They said if I gained any weight like 2-3 pounds in 1 day then thats a problem but I actually lost a pound so that was good. Im soo happy your off of stims. Your that much closer to your BFP. GL with your ER. They also counted 16 eggs on my ultrasound and when i went for retrieval I had 19.

JG-GL on Wednesday. I know that you will do GREAT!

AFM- I received my bloodwork back this afternoon and my estorial level is 617. They said that I am doing too well and they want to decrease my menopur. Yeah.. that is the one shot that I do not like. It burns. I will go in for my next u/s on Wed. to take a look to see how may are growing. I can already feel pressure in my ovaries. I hope this is a good thing.

jg- i did see Cavalia and it was excellent, but a little overpriced. some parts were difficult to hear b/c of the jets from the air show.

miner- i think the pressure is normal. i certainly feel it. it feels like two golf balls are inside of me.

ladybug-yay for ET! praying that your embies stick!

afm- i have to go for bw and u/s everyday now

. my E2 is 3000 and they want to make sure they don't 'over stimulate' me. tonight i stop taking follistim and continue lupron and repronex. someone asked what repronex was for- it is 75 of FSH and 75 of LH combined. apparently it helps the follicles to mature.

mjay- it sounds like your follies are doing great! Don't worry, the retrieval will be there in no time and then you'll be going through withdrawal because you won't be at the dr's office every day! Glad to hear Cavalia was good. I avoided the city this weekend because of the air and water show. I heard that there was a pretty cool helicopter crash that was staged.

ladybug- I was following you on the other board because I was thinking about you and wanted to make sure you are okay. I'm so glad to hear the great news. GL at your transfer today, i'm sure it'll be great and those little babies will stick. Did you end up taking time off of work the rest of the week?

Miner- I think mjay's right, the pressure is normal. GL at your u/s tomorrow, i'm sure you'll have great news!

AFM- I did the ovidrel injection last night (my clinic switched from HCG to ovidrel recently). It was a lot easier than the other injections because it was premixed and ready to go in a syringe, so it just took a couple minutes. It was a little nervewracking because on the voicemail they left me yesterday, they told me to do it at exactly 9:30, so I was standing in the kitchen with everything ready to go for like 10 minutes, anticipating it. Does anyone have any plans for returning to work yet? I read on some boards that people take 3 days bedrest after the transfer, anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm still not sure what my plans are, I guess it depends on when the plan to do the transfer (day 3 or day 5).
