Well, not only have I joined, but 3rd consecutive post! I feel like I'm hogging the thread, forgive me!

Just wanted to announce... my 2nd beta (3 days after 1st beta) is 708! Yay!

During the first few months of my 1st pregnancy, I had a weird pins and needles tingling in my arms upon waking up. Well, I just woke from a nap, and yes, you guessed it... weird pins and needles in my arms! How crazy is that?

All right, going to make a Dr.'s appt.

Take it easy, ladies!

Congrats Shari
that is an awesome beta. At least I think from everything that I read. I Am so excited for you. And jealous. I wish my beta would come sooner. When did you do your transfer? When do you have your ultrasound? How many emryos did you transfer? Sorry I have tons of questions. Feel free to just ignore whatever you don't wanna answer. Congrats again.

Welcome Caprice. I have PCOS and don't ovulate on my own. However, I am an awesome responder to stims and on low doses- 10 days of stims at 200 dose- I get tons of eggs. Both retrievals were like this. To tell you the truth I dunno what to do...I guess the next step is wait to see hb's on Friday and then RE said we need to go to the Peri the next week (week of Xmas) to get the opinion on how my uterus will hold up. I talked to my OB on the phone and she was so comforting and made me relax a little, saying the C section won't be an issue, but it was the Peri that told me about the issues back when I had my daughter, not the OB. So right now just wait.
Your beta was high like mine, so multiples could be a high possibility. My beta 10dp5dt was 414. I am in So cal also, LA area. Where are you?
Albany- I don't have any symptoms yet either, No ms, other than getting fat. In like 4 more weeks I will not be able to hide the bump. I guess since I have been pg before the muscles are looser and with twins, I show a lot sooner.
Shari- I am so jealous of a natural BFP. Congrats! How the heck did you ovulate on the suppression meds?
IVF/ICSI 3/07 Froze All 36 eggs
FET 5/07 BFP; DD born early (26 weeks) 10/07
IVF/ICSI 8/09 Froze all 30 eggs
FET 11/09 BFP! TWINS from just 1 frostie! YIKES.

Rikirees-
First of all, congrats on your pregnancy! I pray for you that it will all turn out all right. I believe there must be a way for you to have a safe pregnancy... sending you lots of PMA :D:D:D! As far as ovulating on suppression, I ovulated before I began suppression, about a week before. Then a week of suppression, then I found out I was pregnant. This pregnancy is nothing short of a miracle, and just praying that it's all gonna turn out okay :). I did feel better after seeing that my beta doubled...

Caprice-
As you've probably just read, I became pregnant naturally (and shockingly). I had already started suppression meds, and then SURPRISE! I've been told that if I get pregnant naturally, it'd be a miracle. And so it is :D.

Albany-
Amazing that people have the nerve to ask if you're pregnant! Good thing they were right, for their sakes! Well, I guess it just speaks to that beautiful pregnant glow you must be emanating

Here's to a relaxing and stressless evening for us all!

I guess twins is a possibility but I am thinking my hcg is more likely high because I get so so sick. I would much rather get two pregnancies done in one shot but I am scared that it would onlg be worst with twins.
Riki I am hoping that your body has been able to heal itself well enough to support two babies for a time. You would probably have some micropremies.
Shari
Sorry now I remember you are another miracle on this thread. I seriously can't believe that worked out like that. Amazing. Were the doctors concerned about the sup drugs effects on the baby?

How is everyone feeling. Any sickness yet.

Caprice-
They were not concerned, no. I spoke to teratology (experts in how any and all drugs affect fetus), and they said that there is a 17-day 'grace period' at beginning of pregnancy in which outside substances do not affect fetus. They explained it in further detail, but that's the part I remember :)

Caprice- My daughter was a micro preemie born at 26 weeks (weighing 14 oz.) and spent 114 days in the NICU-Her birthday was the best and worst day of my life, they told me she wasn't going to live. That is my biggest fear. I was emotional basketcase and I am not strong enough to go through all that again. It might be wrong but I am praying for a resolution from God. Whether it is a vanishing twin or whatever. My worry about this is taking over my life right now. The anxiety is so painful.
Hardest part is my DH is so excited and that makes me more emotional. Like I am evil or something...

Rikirees-

So sorry to hear about the anxiety you're experiencing! I wish there was some wisdom I could impart to ease your worries. Were you on bedrest last pregnancy? Can you get paid leave for bedrest due to the high risk? I'm wondering if an acupuncturist can treat you to optimize your 'uterine health' so to speak. Hoping your ob finds a solution which allows you a safe, smooth, uncomplicated pregnancy. G-d bless you and your embies :).

Hugs,
Shari xo

P.S. Gotta love the husbands. He sounds like a great daddy... but they're quite clueless :P

Riki
No one should have to go through that, let alone twice, hopefully it will be resolved "naturally" there is nothing wrong with wanting that to happen. I think you are so brave for even wanting to have another one. Your strong you've proved it, I pray you won't have to prove anything else. Keep us updated.

What does everyone do about headaches?

Caprice-
If you get hormone related headaches (that come with your menstrual cycle), that usually goes away during pregnancy. For when you do get a headache, it's paracetamol/acetaminophen. You're allowed to take that. I believe ibuprofen is a no no. I remember just lying in a dark room with compresses on my forehead until a headache resolved. Here's hoping we won't be getting those nasty headaches :)!

Hello Girls!!!! Hope we are all doing well!

Welcome, welcome, welcome Claud!!!! I am soooooo happy for you! I love that you were able to figure out the ticker and upload a pic! How cool! I love your wedding picture by the way!!!!

Well it's official - I don't think anymore of my pants fit!!!! I will be heading out to the outlet mall tomorrow to visit the maternity store. I look like I am 4 months pregnant!

Riki - any news? I am a Level 3 NICU RT and have worked with many babies and parents. My heart goes out to you and dh. I am praying for a happy healthy pregnancy, what ever the plan will be.

Caprice - I have had the same pregnancy related headaches (I never get any headaches, ever!) and I don't think theres is anything that takes care of them. The Tylenol gets rid of them for a while, but they come back. I read somewhere that they can last the whole pregnancy. Is yours one sided also? My headaches started on the left, but now are killer on the right only. Good luck and let me know if you figure something out.

Me2009 and Olim - anything new?

Shari, I love that your beta is rising normally and am hoping for the best report when it comes to your first scan. I have been tearing my hair out waiting since my last beta on Dec. 4th. I have not heard from the RE, I have not talked to any of the nurses and man, they don't wean you or anything huh??? When is your scan? As for the reason why they asked if I was pregnant... I will try to upload a pic, ha ha ha... you should get a kick out of this one. I can't believe it.

I don't think I missed anyone, If I did... I am sorry. I am thinking of all of us and saying a prayer every night for all of us, our dh's and our embabies.
