deftonesmo - So glad your u/s showed that nothing was wrong with your little one! I had brown spotting 4 days after my first OB visit and they had me come in right away. I thought brown spotting wasn't bad, well better than bright red. When I explained what I had been experiencing to the nurse she gave me this look like "oh honey, that's really bad". So I started to freak out and I asked her if that was bad, and her whole body language changed and was like "no, brown is really good!" I think she was trying to give me a heart attack lol. Then my OB came in and totally calmed my nerves. I absolutely love my OB.
Bliss - I'm sorry that you are still feeling sick, hopefully it will start to ease up soon! I think a baseball game and a concert may have been a bit much for you. But I think going overseas to see them is an absolutely amazing idea! Hope the 4 hour drive goes by quickly!!
AFM- I told my doctor I couldn't wait a whole month without another visit and she said I could come in any time. So I'm scheduled to come in next Friday. I was a few days behind on my last u/s, so hopefully my little one had a huge growth spurt and he/she will be on target. We are going to start sharing the news with our families soon. We are telling my parents on Monday and one side of DH's next Sunday. I'm glad I'll have an u/s before we share the news with his side, just so that I know I have made it into the second trimester. I'm still so nervous that something went wrong and I would hate to tell everyone, then tell them a week later that things didn't work out. DH tells me to stop worrying, but I can't help it. I think until I feel he/she moving around, I will panic at every cramp or twinge I feel. Although, I know the worrying will never stop
