Wow -Dagny, that is such a responsible process that your DH has to undertake!!! I applaud him for that and will share your response with my DH to show what others have to do as well. Congrats on completing the EC - that is always the hardest part (besides the 2ww) and I am praying that you get a BFP as you most certainly deserve this!!!

Rest up and relax!!
Good luck for the ET.

Dagny,

I can't believe you were awake during the EC....and with 40 eggs! Was it like that for you the last time as well?

I was completely out for mine. Didn't remember a thing. My clinic says they make sure everyone is out....something I am very grateful for!

I also couldn't believe you had to transport the eggs. That seems so risky. What if your train was delayed or something? I'm surprised your clinic doesn't have some sort of transport method. Oh well. I guess every place just does things very differently. It just amazes me though.

I'm glad everything did work out ok though! Hope you are resting and drinking plenty of fluids (although with Tracey after you, I guess you don't need me to tell you that!) .

Dagny,

it sounds like Mission Impossible 4 for your hubbie.

Congrats on 10 being fertilised, just waiting now then for ET (this post sounds like I'm recommending DVDs for you to watch, MI4, ET!).

Well lots of PMA now.........from us all on your behalf.

Good luck,

Love

Hi Dagny,
I was just catching up on your progress and am totally stunned by your and DH's brave efforts. I also had EC quite awake but then collecting 9 eggs or so is not the same as 40, must have been so painful . and then this whole train business. I think your DH is quite the hero for doing this - I showed it to my dp and he was very impressed. I will be thinking of you a lot and keeping my fingers and anything else that might help crossed!
love,

Dagny,

10 Eggs!!!! Congratulations - let's hope for as many perfect embies!! So glad you are doing fine as OHSS is a very scary thing. We're hoping you recover perfectly with no more signs of trouble.

I read your post to DH so he could see what other DHs have to go through. Honestly a supreme effort on his part.

Hearing this prompts me to start a new thread for the DHs, DPs and DFs. Aren't they wonderful to go through this with us?

Dagny,

I must say those are excellent movie choices. I assume you have already seen some of them though? I can't imagine anyone not having seen Shrek or Monster's Inc. by now.

I thought Love Actually was really good. DH and I watched it last week. I don't think Hugh Grant is handsome in the typical sense but there is something very likeable about him. Did you see About A Boy? That was quite good (although I read the book and thought the movie didn't quite live up to it but Hugh Grant was perfect for the lead role).

Okay, guess that's enough for my movies review!

'Morning Dagny....when will you know which day to expect ET? Good luck with hearing about the embies...I've realised from other people's posts what the train/box/thing was all about now....

Nice film choices, I've only seen Shrek and Toy Story 1 from that list.

Thinking of you...
love
Debra.

I hold my hat off to your DH he is a hero having to go through all that well at least you can say that he has really done his bit!

cant believe you were awake through et I tell you I paid extra for anistetic to put me right out and for 4 eggs!!!!! you brave brave girl, I suppose you have been through so much you would do anything to get them out safe and sound.

Great choice in films , Have most of them!!!! cant seem to get into Harry Potterthough , as you know I am dislexic and dont read much. The other film to watch is : How to loose a guy in ten days . he is gorgeous Yummy.

Let us know when EC is , I have been lighting my candels every night for you .

Take care now buddy , your embies will love to enjoy themselves in their own spa swimming pool with all that water you have had!!!!!

Dagny

Still stunned at DH having to transport them all - I mean honestly
I would be petrified of falling over and smashign the lot!

good luck with ET my friend and have everything crossed this is your time and you can come over the other side so we can be together again over there! As for choccie - by all means eat some - I did just don't go ott with it but the odd bar of choccie is fine - I am into Milky bars right now - have one of those but it's all about the caffeine. The worry about having or not having them is worse - you do what you are happy with.
Films sound great - I am a great Harry fan - the latest film is fab
I will be thinking of you as always and have everything crossed - even risking variscose veins!
Love
Tracey
