I have to confess I haven't seen any of it yet anyway!! My mum taped the first episode and I taped last weeks and then went to record last nights only to find it wasn't there on the viewing schedule!!!
Will have to remember to record it on Monday - can't stay awake that late (think it's a girl thing?!?!?)

Hi Everyone, I'm new & this is my first posting. The heading Precious Babies caught my eye. I tuned into ITV to watch the final part of this programme on Tues night only to discover it wasn't on. I sent an email to ITV querying, and they replied that they took it off the schedules as it got very low viewing figures!! They are going to air the last part of Precious Babies on Monday 4th April at 2305 except for Wales, Scottish TV and Grampian TV.
Watching the first part of Precious Babies gave me hope but am trying not to raise them too high. It was very helpful to see a programme like this as even though you can talk to friends about what you are going through they can't begin to understand.
I had my first cycle of IVF last September and it failed. Am going to the hospital to talk about my second & final cycle on Tuesday (next week).
Good luck for Tuesday - let us know how you get on. There are various threads for different months depending on when you go through the treatment so come and join us
Hi there Pauline ... Welcome to the site. You've probably read back to the beginning of this thread. It seems the consensus on here is that the programme was a little too positive.
Sorry to hear about your -ve last year. I hope your consultation on Tues is positive, and you find a way forward.. Let us know

Hi Pauline - welcome to the Site - well WE get good viewing figures don't we girls
You know what?
I have decided that I am bl~~dy furious about this programme, I mean apart from the fact that It's impossible to get to see it and get someone to record it for me..
I mean how disgusting is it that such an issue gets moved about and disregarded and here we are watching re-runs of Quincy (I ask you)..
I think girls that the whole subject is "taboo" even in the UK and especially the donor/surrogacy issue is unpalatable to the "traditional protestant" and any other conservative block head ideals values.
What about getting in touch with the producer (or whoever made the programme and believed in it) and creating a stink???
I'd sign a petition just to make the point that this is a key issue and a lot of infertility issues are a reality of modern society and need to be made known..
am I being a bit militant???

BigJ ...Re- runs of Quincy - now how sad is that ?
I think your theory is more plausible than ITV's explanation to Pauline. They're just going to show the last episode when they'll get less viewers / less negative feedback.
A bit of a cop-out really.
