Hope everyone is well and you all had a nice Christmas. My DP proposed to me on Christmas Eve, that was a total surprise - Wow!!

Anyway, I want to hear how you lot a are getting on. Rachel, any dates yet for EC? And my dear buddie Anna, can they not give you something to make AF arrive? She really is taking the p**s now. Just for you I'm going to try and send an AF jig with piccies. (I'll try it just now, but don't hold your breath).

AF has still not arrived.....am now on day 51! Have already taken meds to bring it on but is still taking it's time. Am now paranoid that it will come over the next few days when the clinic is closed for new year! Am trying to stay positive though.

dizzie congrats on the engagement...my Df proposed last Christmas too. we have now been engaged for a year and everyone keeps asking when is the wedding. We are saving our money for IVF then getting married. Have you got any plans for this year? apart from little one coming?

Hi ladies,

Firstly can I say Happy New Year to everyone. I hope 2006 is a very good year for everyone starting new IVF cycles. Thanks to everyone for all the congratulatory messages on my engagement. Wedding is the last thing on our list, but one day we'll get there.

So how's everyone doing? Anna, I hope when I log on next that AF will have finally arrived. This has got to be some kind of record.

Rachel, my thoughts are with you during this stressful time. Sorry to say this, but my second week dragged so try and keep busy this week. Hope to see a BFP this time next week.

I have my first scan on the 12th January to see if embie(s) in the right place and how many are there. Once I get that done, I'll then look to my 12 week scan. It's weird, you wait all these years for a positive then you just worry constantly about everything else.

Well, take care girls and I'll speak to you all soon. Does anyone know who's starting next cycle first? I'm so excited and I empathise completley with everyone who's starting again.

dizzie, you are definitely all go my dear. pregnancy, engagement...congratulations!!!!! i'm so happy that everything is going well for you.

the 12th will be exciting to see whether you're expecting 1 or 2. i guess after so long worrying about whether things will work out it's a hard habit to break but i'm positive that there'll be even more smiles all round on the 12th.

anna, i'm still jigging for you! hope your clinic is able to sort something out with mother nature and AF appears really soon.

jen, how are you my dear? ET went well, thanks. i was quite emotional afterwards thinking about my 3 embies in there.

i've had my feet up and i've taken time off work so i can take it easy but i'm feeling the time drag. yesterday i even started considering the evil pee sticks. roll on jan 10!!

Day 56 ladies, the saga continues. This is getting so boring for me, goodness knows what it must be like for you all reading about it! Have taken to wearing white as this has always worked in the past!

Dizzie- keep resting...can't wait to hear about scan on the 12th.

And me? back at work today and am shattered...I can't wait for the weekend, how sad is that? I am looking forward to the 27th for consultant meeting, but don't hold your breath as we will prob start next IVF in may. We are decorating the hall and kitchen then going on hols in April and want to start it after some well earned rest and relaxtion.

Anna, anything yet? Surely by now something's arrived (I hope). It;s so sad, us ladies actually wanting AF to arrive to start cycles. I never thougth I'd see the day. Hope to check later and find out she's finally had the decency to turn up.

Jeni, we all know the waiting takes 'forever' and is so unfair, instead of being able to seduce hubbies and find out couple of weeks later we're pregnant (if only), but it will soon come round. I think you're being very wise taking some time out. I think you need some time to think about 'normal' things for a while, and your holiday will be fantastic. Although if we're honest, everday it will be there doing your head in, but I do believe that patience is a virtue, and how bloody true is that on this IVF nightmare.

anna, you must be so frustrated but it's got to be on its way any day now. hang in there, it will come! still jigging for you.

jen, sounds like a really good idea to wait until after your hols to start cycling. you'll be completely energized to restart on the rollarcoaster. and as dizzie said it gives you time to think about other things. i don't know about you but when i'm cycling i'm consumed by it. a holiday in april sounds perfect.

dizzie, you taking it easy?

as for me, i haven't let the evil pee sticks convert me to the dark side yet and i will try to hold out until tuesday. i've been having AF cramps but i know that doesn't mean anything. in any case they've almost gone.......along with my sanity!!
