I get on here several times a day and read but don't always comment- I get SO far behind that way!!

Michele Doing this Biggest Baddest AF dance ever----- from my couch. She's gonna get here and your E2 is going to go down and you're catching the August cycle. Period.

Beth and Dogz We are all waiting patiently for you two!!

Butterfly 25!?!?!?! WOW!!! Congrats!!! That's amazing.

Cheeky Our bodies do such weird weird things during this process. Ever symptom I have I HOPE is something good, but figure out a way to tell myself it might not be because I want to stay positive, but not get my hopes way up. I'd jst try to relax until Monday.

Doglover Good luck tomorrow! I had that bloaty feeling from the time of my retrieval until the morning of my transfer. My nurse told me it was totally normal and should go away eventually.

Amanda, Cheeky, Jamie, Babies, and Pathfinder We are almost there ladies!! Those BFP's are going to be rolling in next week!! Let's keep this board lucky!

Sportsmom Hello and Welcome back! Best of luck for your FET next month!

Cressicaw That is a LOT of eggies! Grow grow grow!!!!

Annisbug 13 is great! Keep us posted!

AFM:
Well I'm not sure weather to take these things as good signs or not?
Yesterday evening as soon as our food arrived for dinner I started feeling ill. I made myself eat, but my water tasted like it'd come from a pond and my salad dressing tasted so strong it made my eyes water! Then the nausea really set it. I nearly fell asleep while waiting for DD to finish her tumbling lesson (at 8 p.m.) and felt sick the entire way home. I lay in her bed waiting for her to finish getting ready for bed, fell asleep for awhile and felt better when I woke up. However, I was then awake from 1-4:30 a.m. with nausea so bad I was wishing I'd throw up to get it over with!
I keep telling myself not to get too excited about being sick (weird!!) because maybe I've gotten a bug somewhere.
I'm 4dp5dt. Do ya'll think it's too early for me to be feeling this?

CT - I'm really sorry that u are going thru this all over again but i know that AF will show its ulgy head very soon so hang in there. Doing lots of AF dance for u!

Cheeky - hon, i am so sorry but keep the PMA and don't give up. Like Katie said there are quite a few who has spotting and then get the BFP. Plus the HPT came back positive. U are PUPO till the beta is in so don't give up. Only the weekend to get thru. keep u'reself busy.

Sunny- wishing u lots of luck today!

Beth and Dogz - hang in there hon! U guys are almost there. And am sure u will be pleased with the results today. the cramps is completely normal. Saying lots of prayers for both of u.

Pathfinder - yeah to being PUPO. my beta is on the same day as yours. I really do not know why my clinic makes us wait this long for our beta. i had my 5dET on the 25th and have to wait till the 7th for the beta.

cressicaw: wow u go girl. 20 eggs. That is awesome.

doglover- i was and am still really bloated.

my stomach is so out that i am lready looking pg. has anyone had this during 2ww.? and i am so afraid of sucking it in:-) because of fear that i may mess up any implantation chances! Gosh one whole week left! Also so tired of explaining to people that i am not drinking because i had way too much the prior night. LOL! Pellegrino is making lots of money from me!

Big hugs to everyone!

Evening girlies

Starwishes i sure hope you brought your brollie over here the weather is shocking!! and i have to help at a marque wedding tomorrow i should prob bring wellies  You will feel pregnant very shortly xx

dogzrule please dont worry about them cramps they will settle its just the body preparing itself to house your little baby all completley normal. I wish you and your twin beth the very best of luck please god your betas will be great xxxx

lisa10 how was stims? I have told few white lies in last 2 yrs, today i had a "wedding" though one of the girls told me to enjoy meself and i was like what???

liana: its all about your egg quality not age, i know donor is expensive but where there is a will there is a way but fingers crossed you wont need to consider it, i was told at 28 by a very inconsiderate doctor i would never have kids and this was on the day that i found out none of my embies survived to blasts and then next cycle i got pregnant, i know i lost it but now i know i can and will do it, some docs have no bedside manner!

Annisabug great no of eggs!!! Good luck with transfer

Pathfinder yeah PUPO!!! lots of tlc and relaxation for you

Cheekyone: how many did you transfer, maybe its just one of the other embies dying and breaking away? Fingers crossed for you xxx

doglover good luck tomorrow xxx

Cressicaw sounds like another bumper crop its great you can donate some too.

katie99 never heard of that sensation before  keep stimming away girl

lw918: lets hope those are good signs, will you poas??

Michele you poor divil you, but sounds like AF is on her way, will say a prayer for you that you wont get cancelled

AFM drive to Dublin was grand just turned up radio and gave it loads!! Scan was fine, got all me meds - going to take 4 tabs of prognova a day. They also gave me 4 boxes of crinone so if i get pg i stay on it till after scan - did i tell ye girls on my bfp i only had progesterone supp for 13 days it didnt even last till test date and was told i didnt need anymore i know it prob wasnt the reason why i m/c but nobody did a progersterion level ck so i cant say for sure, this time if it works i will insist on taking it!!

Right may go my poor doggie isnt impressed i am on the laptop when he wants a cuddle, its a 3 day wkend here ....Yipeee

Hello Ladies,
TGIF!!!!! YAHOO!!!

Michele - I am sooo sorry to hear. I'm witih lw918, you WILL get AF and you WILL cycle in August. I'm dancing for you girl!!!

Annissabug - WOW 13 eggs. Can't wait to hear the fert report. I don't think you'll be done with injects for a while. I think you still have to keep taking progesterone if you get a BFP. Sorry. :) But I don't think you would mind so much then.

Cheekyone - Lots of PMA and hoping the bleeding stops or it's just normal. I hope you try to relax this weekend. I'm sure this is all you can think about.

Cressicaw - 20 eggs, WOW. I hope I do better this cycle. I had very few last time.

Sportsmom - welcome back and good luck on you FET.

BabiesGalore - PMA and more PMA!!!!!

I hope everyone has a great day. Waiting to hear on those higher beta #s Dogz and Beth. I know they're coming.

Cheeky..hang in there PUPO!

I started stims last night. After DH and I spent an hour trying to figure out how to mix menopur, I had to give up and give the nurse a call. She was so helpful talking me through the process which was really simple in the end. So I am ready to roll again.

Hello Ladies :D :D I am thinking and wishing all of U well.

CT_Michele - I am doing the AF dance for you (from my couch too) I have all my fingers , toes and legs crossed that it will be here by Monday. Just remember - E2 level needs to stay low. Mine was high through this whole cylce and I have OHSS :( :( I may need to have the fluid drained tomorrow if it gets worse. So good luck and I hope she comes soon (AF)

Pathfinder - Congratulation on your transfer - you are officially PUPO! :P

Cheekyone - Thanks for the PMA - right back at you....It's not over until the Beta says so! I am sending you lots of PMA your way!!! keep us posted.

Starwishes - Congratulations on your BFP!!!! :P

Dogz and Beth - thinking of you both and sending you lots of PMA Dust!

Sunnygirl - How was your ET today? Get lots of rest and keep those feet up! Your PUPO now!!

Butterfly - Did you get your fert report yet? I am going in at 9:30 EST on Tuesday for ET! What time is yours?

Doglover77 - So glad to hear your doing better. Being bloated is common - Good luck on your ET tomorrow! :P I will be thinking of you!

Cressicaw - 20 eggs is fantastic!

Sportsmom - I remember you from April's boards. I never posted but I read everyone. Glad to see you are trying again. I totally understand about the BFN - I received mine April 9th and we waited until now to try again. Welcome back and good luck!

AFM......I received my fert report and I have 10 beautiful embros :D :D We are scheduled for Tuesday Aug 4 at 9:30 am!!! I can hardly believe it! I only had 2 embies last time and they did a 2 day transfer which didn't work. I am so excited (even with the OHSS)
Has anyone else have or had OHSS? Any advice - RE says to drink lots of fluids and rest. I may need to have the fluid drained tomorrow but it will only come back so lets hope all these shots and water help. Any advice would be helpful!

Thanks for all the PMA! Hugs and Baby Dust to all!!

Lisa10 - Yay for stimming! I totally understand the mixing of menopur! I was on it too. Once you get the hang of it it really is simple. I didn't use it my first cylce and ended up with only 2 embies but used it this cycle with my Gonal - f and ended up with 10!!! Good luck to you and have fun stimming!!

The nurse just called and my estrogen is really high (I am not sure that is a good thing) and she wants me back tomorrow.

It was 417 I think?

Apparently they must be concerned about the amount of eggs? However, they told me to take the same dose tonight.

Does anyone have advice for taking menopure. It always burns when I put the needle in and it has gotten more and more painful. I just do my belly because it has grown so much, and there is just more room. Oh, those days of a slim tummy are gone for awhile.

I am looking forward to a pregnancy makeover :-)

Thank you all for your comments...

Annisabug - I am just 2 days behind you. All I know about OHSS, is that a friend of mine retained a lot of fluid but she found out she was pregnant while in the hospital so it was a very good thing. Take it very easy.

Lisa10 - Thank God my husband was paying attention becasue the shots are overwhelming, I just stared at the box in disbelief when I received it but now I am used to it. I am not looking forward to this IM shots!!!

Gi - I asked to take the suppositories again, so the doctor agreed. He said they are just as good. A lot of your meds I don't recognize, is that cause I am in the U.S.?

babiesgalore - I am only 6 days into the stims and my stomach is sticking out too, I just embrace and rub it. My mom says I walk around like I am already pregnant, who knows maybe that will trick my body. When will you find out for sure?

lw918 - what stage are you at? I think naseau is a good sign!

katie99 - what a good way to describe it "popcorn making" I like it!

CT-Michelle - Would you mind moving me up to the grow follies grow? I am sending you some good vibes and PMA!!!

You all are in my prayers and anyone I missed, I am sending lots of baby dust your way!!!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! This TTC experience is so scary and exciting at the same time. LOL! I want to remain very optimistic but scared of the crash if it fails again.

It's great to see so many BFP's on here! Wishing everyone the best and as always praying for our miracles. :D

hi ladies

lw - hope that you're feeling better. The progesterone tends to mimic preg symptoms. lots of fun, huh?

babies - Wishing you lots of patience for your last week of torment :D xoxo

gi - Glad to hear that driving in Dublin went well for you! I get very freaked out driving in an unfamiliar, busy area too - go give the pups a cuddle -xoxo

anissabug - 10 embies! WOW! good job!

doglover - wishing you the best of luck tomorrow for your ET!

cressica - I'm on menopur every cycle, it does sting a little during the injecction, but not too bad. Are you sure that you're letting the alcohol dry first? Is it straight menopur? or mixed with bravelle? How much dilutent are you using? Maybe try changing your inj site a bit. I was taught 2 inches over from navel & 1 inch below. hope that helps. good luck

beth / dogz -any news yet?

michele -Still stomping in boots for your AF!

Just got the update from the nurse - my HCG was 45 today. So, I'm pretty much in the same position. She said the fact that it's going up is good, and my progesterone levels look good (20), but it's not going up as much as we would want. More cautious optimism.

(btw, thanks again Michelle for those estimates, because I think not doubling would have been harder if you hadn't posted that info)

So, I have to go for another beta on Monday.

Dogz - any word?

Glad to hear good news on others, will do personals later.

Update

Post by tryn4#2 »

I've been reading the message board each day and have decided to post an update today.

I took my last BCP last nite so I am waiting for AF to arrive. I start the stim meds on day 2 of my cycle.

I want to say "Congrats" to all those BFP's. :D :D :D

For those on your 2ww just hang in there, relax, kick your feet up and think positive.

For the past 2 months, I've had 2 acupuncture treatments a week. This past week I also had a massage. I think it is extremely important to be relaxed during the IVF process. I have also found that with acupuncture, I do not have any side effects from the medicines.
