I was just thinking the same thing. It's been so quiet. Hope everyone has had an enjoyable and uneventful weekend.

Can't wait for your update, Margi. :)

Finally, we have first names for our girls. Baby A is Claire, and Baby B is Marlo. After the news of this last week, I told my hubby we needed to talk to our little squirts and call them by name when we do, so we can tell them to grow, grow, grow. Good news is, I am scarfing the calories, and it seems to be working now. I hope it helps Miss Claire to catch up in her growth.

Mellow - I love those names! So cute!

Amanda - nice weather by you too? Amazing that it's spring time already! Hopefully fall/winter will be here soon with all of our healthy babies.

Margi - I'm wishing you SO MUCH good luck for tomorrow! Update us as soon as possible!

Rio - a power outage? How crazy! Good luck tomorrow!

AFM - boring around here - which is fantastic! I love boring! No bleeding, no cramping -- just throwing up, hungry all the time, sleepy all the time - this is great! :D Also, I know I'm only 8.5 weeks, but my pants are tight. I've lost a few pounds, but Im' feeling bigger in my lower abdomen. Feels like there's a tennis ball in there.

Still haven't tried my doppler again - waiting until 9 weeks on Tuesday.

A whole week until my next scan. I've been spoiled by the IVF clinic and their frequent scans. My new OB wants one every 2-3 weeks! Hopefully I can wait, not that I have much choice....

At 8 weeks, they tried abdominally, but couldn't see enough.... maybe next week (9w5d)! I'm so tired of the transvaginal scans!

I'm here - back from Mexico and now packing the entire main floor of our house. We are gutting and doing a total renovation over the next two months. It should be interesting and make my last trimester fly by! LOL

We've come up with a name we both like (this is huge news) but of course, it may change next week.... a couple have already. In keeping with our desire to have a strong, unique first name to go with our ultra common last name (Wilson), we now like Brogan as a first name. People seem to like it and as a bonus it shortens to a cool "Bro" if a nickname is required.

Hope everyone is having a very boring day...

Oh, and a question about kicks - this little guy seems to go all day, non-stop at times!!! I seriously counted 40 in a one hour period and that's 'normal' for him lately. Anybody else??

Our baby is very active too - at times, it feels like she never sleeps. She even kicked at the cat yesterday (the cat looked confused, offended and disgusted then got up and left; lol). It usually takes me well over an hour to fall asleep because she's moving and then she wakes me all night. At first, I was worried that her seemingly over-the-top activity level meant that she was going to be a difficult baby but I read on a mothers board that very active babies are the easiest to soothe (I'm really hoping that it is true). I also read that the period of peak activity is between 24-28 weeks because they start to get crowded after that; so our babies should be settling down soon.

Katie: I don’t believe that I know you, but OMG...those boys are the absolute cutest little guys I have seen in a while. Very scary to hear about your bleeding. Wow. You poor thing. Take extra care of yourself!! Taking care of twins is tiring enough, I am sure without the added health scare you had. You must be extra exhausted. Enjoy those handsome boys.

Amanda: Take care...sorry about your glucose results. :-( seems like it is getting more and more common. Glad Rio had some great advice. She always does. :-) My appt is tomorrow at 1:30 EST....so you can set your watches!! :-) I am going to be a nervous wreck tomorrow until then.

Kay: Sorry for the scare, but glad everything is good with your little bean! I am just a couple weeks behind you, so I will be watching you closely to see what is ahead for me.

Gina: Love the nursery! And great that the boys are growing so well. You look awesome!!

Stephanie: Congrats on selling the house/buying a house!! Very exciting. Be careful not to overdo anything while packing.

Rio: Glad to hear your #s are good, but disappointed about not seeing bean on Friday. :-( Let us know as soon as it is rescheduled. I am sure she is doing just fine.

Mellow: Glad that you are finally putting on some weight. And love the names. Claire especially. And like you said, good to have names when you are talking to the babies.

Leora: Boring, when involving pregnancy, is GREAT. Love to hear you are bored. :D

Sonya: Renovations. Wow! That will make time fly for sure....just don’t you overdo anything....and I love the name Brogan. Very strong name.

AFM: Thanks for all your support ladies. I am trying not to be an absolute nervous wreck before tomorrow's u/s. Good thing is that Monday mornings are incredibly busy at work for me, so I won't even have time to sneeze until about 11:00. U/S is scheduled for 1:30 EST so I will be sure to post as soon as possible afterwards ladies. No work to keep me from my computer!! I just really hope and pray that I have good news. Please let everything be ok. I have been spotting lightly ever since the u/s last week. Nothing heavy, but still not exactly reassuring.

Margi - SUPER GOOD LUCK! I'm already stalking for results, even though I know it's way too early!

Sonya - I'm so glad you had fun in Mexico! home renovations? You are brave! There is nothing I hate more than renovations (except maybe moving!). Good luck!

Kim - funny - after 2 weeks of gorgeous weather here, we have rain! :D But rain is considered a great thing here, since we are usually dealing with drought. This will probably be the last rain of the season (only rains in winter). Weird to think that the next time it rains, I could have 2 babies!

AFM - tomorrow is 9 weeks! This seems to be going really fast AND really slowly at the same time. Weird. We'll try playing with the fetal doppler again tomorrow. Hopefully we'll hear some babies. Next u/s is on Sunday.

I'm scheduled to stop my 'support meds' (ie, progesterone suppositories and estradiol tablets) on April 24. I want to slowly wean off, instead of cold turkey. Should I wean off so that April 24 is my last day? Or start lowering dosages on April 24? What did everyone else do? I'll be 11.5 weeks.

Hi EO,

I haven't posted on this side in a while bcuz I've had a few scares since the beginning...OHSS, possible ectopic/heterotopic, possible SCH, and almost 2 wks of bleeding. Yeesh!! Can't a girl get a break? I didn't want to ginx anything by getting back on this thread b/f things stabilized somewhat. Thankfully, the bleeding finally stopped and all looks good as of my last u/s at the OB last Friday. :)
I wanna ask you girls a question...and please refrain from laughing and I'm also giving you a TMI alert, so look away now. This morning at 9wks my husband and me were engaging in "relations". (I was told no intercourse til 12wks by the RE btw). We didn't have intercourse, however, I did reach the big "O". Now I'm really worried that I could have done something wrong. I tried to stop it b/f we went too far but...stuff happens you know? Should I be concerned?? Did I screw up. HELP!!

Leorira-I'm so glad to hear things are "boring" right now-no bleeding. Yea!!

EOE-glad to be back on here with you guys. I hope your preggies are doing fine. Lot's of love.

KatieG -- Congrats on your beautiful babies! They're gorgeous! So sorry about that bleeding scare. Glad all is calm now. Enjoy them and update us with pics as often as you can.

Gina -- Love the blue color paint on your nursery walls. You're lookin' great too!

Rio -- Way to keep your A1c down! Your diet must be working. Hope you get your u/s rescheduled soon.

Mellow -- "Claire" and "Marlo" are beautiful names! What are the middle names? I'm still praying Claire has a growth spurt and catches up to her sister soon. It's great you are eating well.

Leora -- Boring is good! Keep up the baby baking.

Sonya -- Welcome back! You are brave to tackle a home renovation. We keep talking about it but not doing anything about it. Ugh. Hope it all goes smoothly. We did our kitchen a few years back and it took twice as long as we were promised.

Gi -- Thanks for stopping by. Yeah... I am guilty of watching that video at least 10 times a day. I'm so glad I have it. I just keep saying "I love you" to the screen with tears in my eyes. What a big sap I am!

Margi -- Good luck today!!! I know you'll see a beautiful heartbeat.... but I'm excited to hear if maybe there are two!

Crissy -- I don't think your "O" hurt your baby at all. I have a tiny bit of cramping after an "O" but that's normal and all is fine. I wouldn't worry.

AFM -- I saw OB on Friday. Did a quick scan and all looked well. Her u/s machine is not nearly as good as RE's. Boo for that. The heartbeat measured at 170 which she said was "truckin' right along". I have my NT scan tomorrow and I'm scared to death. I really really want good news so I don't have to worry. I'm scheduled for my AFP at my 16 week appt which is April 29th. I'm not sure if I get the results of my NT right away because my OB said something about getting the results by Friday, huh? Kinda confused. Hope everyone had a great weekend. We were busy.
Oh, and if you are a basketball fan, cheer on the Butler Bulldogs as that is DH's Alma Mater and he is excited as hell they are playing for the championship tonight!

Lou - Good luck on your NT tomorrow, usually your AFP is done at around 11 weeks with the NT so you get your results together. Then after 15 weeks you get your quad blood test and at 18 weeks your level II US. Do you know if your OB is just skipping the AFP? And I usually see a Doctor after the technician measures everything right away and they give us the results. Try to enjoy seeing your bean move around and put on a show!

crissy - you are fine, the O didn't hurt anything! As long as you don't have bleeding or cramping right now, you are fine!

Leora - 9 weeks already!!! Woohooo and boring is awesome! I weaned off and was completly done with meds by 10 weeks

Margi - can't wait for the awesome news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kjm - glad you got it all figured out with OB!

Sonya - wow renovations while in your 3rd trimester! You are a brave woman! Post before and after pics and take it easy! I love the name!

Mellow - yeay for picking names! When is your next check up? I love Claire, one little friend of DS at school is Claire and she is a little princess just like yours will be!

AFM - scheduled the US for Wednesday at 8 am! Hopefully baby girl is growing well - she kicks a lot! So nice to feel her moving around for peace of mind!

Karen/SD Have your boys reached the terrible twos/threes yet? We had meltdown city this weekend, once because I mixed his yogurt with the blueberries and there was hell to pay for that - one hour meltdown and the other cause I cut up his hot dog into bites (hot dogs are big choking hazards) then we had a meltdown for about 1.5 hours before he ate dinner. I am wondering if you girls have gotten to that stage yet? DH tries to reason with him which is useless cause he just needs to let it out and then calm down in his own time. It doesn't bother me the least, I just don't like to see him so upset for something we consider silly but to him it's the end of the world!

Thanks Rio. I thought maybe my OB was missing something too so I looked it up on the internet on various sites and most said to do the AFP 16-18 weeks or 15-20 weeks, etc. Here's an example: http://www.webmd.com/baby/alpha-fetopro ... p-in-blood She's not skipping it, they have a lab in the office and they gave me an order to stop there when I come in for my 16 week appt and have it drawn. I guess I just need to wait until then for it. At least I'm getting the NT. I trust my doc, so I guess I need to relax and go with it. She's so excited for us. She kept hugging me and smiling. I told her I had a doppler and she said she doesn't recommend those because they can make you "crazy" but that if I found it helpful, that it was OK. She also told me I was "skinny"... haha... sure loved hearing that for being 12 weeks pregnant!

rio - I'm so glad you got your u/s rescheduled! I felt so bad for you when it had to be rescheduled due to a power outage...I know I would have been really bummed in your shoes.

lou - like rio, my MFM did the b/w on the day of the NT scan. I had the NT scan results immediately (the u/s tech at my MFMs office was telling us all the measurements as she measured everything 3x and then we met with our doc right after.) The blood results however were available 3-4 days later so that's when they gave me "calculated" my odds (mine were 1:1100.)

mellow & sonya - I LOVE the names you both have picked out!!! Can't wait to see pics of Marlo, Claire, and Brogan when they arrive!!

sonya - WOW, your little Brogan is active!! I'm a week or so behind you but my little girl still just moves around in spurts. I may go a few hours without feeling anything but then all of a sudden she's kicking up a storm or having the hiccups. Maribel's definitely breech in there (which is fine since I'll be a c-section gal anyways) but it's amazing how low her kicks are, they're always WAY below my navel. Are your little guy's kicks all over the place or usually in one area?

crissylove - Glad to hear things are calming down after all of those scares you had.

leora - I stopped cold turkey at 10 weeks. I had asked my RE about weaning down but he said that wasn't necessary. I did have spotting the following week for a few days (one of those days was bright red so that really freaked me out) so I have to wonder if maybe I should have weaned down?

margi - Any minute you'll be having that u/s and like I said yesterday, it's going to be great!!

Hope everyone is having a great day! It is GORGEOUS here in South Jersey today...sunny, low 70s. Got all the windows open and taking the dog for extra walks today. LOVE it!!
