washingtonda, Thank you Thank you so much. I figured it out after I posted and now you just confirmed It`s Right.. What totoly threw me was she said 1 amp in p.m. That is actually 1ampules in p.m. ampules means vial. I mix 1cc to the powder then take the whole vial. I was going nuts.
CT_Michele. Thanks as well!
tali, I`m so sorry. Have a great vacation. I hope things work out soon for you. You deserve it..xoxo

Tali--I'm really sorry hun. This process is so draining, I don't blame you for wanting to take a break. My heart goes out to you and dh. Please, please, please don't give up, there are so many amazing stories out there. Take a break and get your energy back. ***hugs***

Colesmom--what would we do without this forum? I've seriously learned more from this forum than from my dr/nurse, not so much because they don't tell me (on the contrary, they are great), but because by the time it's "my turn" to learn a new step, I've already known it thanks to the ladies over here.

About me: well, I have a correction to make, they did not get 17 eggs, I guess the anesthesia affected my hearing  they actually got 14 (great number anyway) and out of those, 13 fertilized!!! :D :D :D :D :D We might do a 5 day transfer, but they will call us tomorrow AM to tell us for sure. I'll keep you posted! DH and I feel very encouraged right now.

Hi Ladies,

Tali - So sorry that it didn't work out for you. Hoping for an awesome surprise with the IUI. Enjoy your vacation

Colesmom - I took menupur too on my first IVF cycle. By the second or third day, you will be a pro. I remember sticking all the directions on my fridge until I felt comfortable.

Michele - Such a nice u/s. I tried to scan mine but DH had the scanner hooked up some funky way and I couldn't work it. But it looks almost just like yours. I have another u/s and bw on Monday.

Mrs G - Thanks for checking up on us! I'm sure time is flying by for you. I can't wait to hear about your updates.

washingtonda - I'm sure you will have a ton of embie babies for blast. Sooo excited for you!

andnichole - I haven't had a chance to say WELCOME! I'm feeling pretty excited and can't wait for my next u/s. And I found a replacement for my love of chocolate.....sleep!! I guess this baby is really working hard in there and I'm feeling it too......loving it! Those meds and storage of what can be confusing. The first time around, I stuck everything in the fridge :D

schel67 - I did have problems posting Wednesday night too! Wanted to ask you, did your RE refer you to an ob gyn or did you have one already picked out? Are we considered high risk because of IVF? I know I will be because I'm 35 and I heard I will be considered to be a mature mommy. I didn't even ask about the sex thing. I will have a ton of questions on Monday.

esperanza - 13 embies are pretty awesome!! This last round of IVF, DH had to write down everything because apparently I didn't want to wake up when the RE came in with the count....good old DH! Can't wait to hear if it is a 3 day or 5 day

TammyS - Happy stimming....you sound like me, impatient to get the show on the road.

Neffi211 - Happy stimming...jealous of you....only 1 shot! Sounds like your RE believes you will be a great responder!

MLB - I was soo nervous on my last appointment I forgot all about asking about the sex part. But DH said for me to make a big sticky to ask on Monday.

If I missed anyone, much baby dust and happy stimming!!

As for me, I am sooo sleepy lately. Even with the prenatal pills, I nod off at 4pm, not so good at work. Are any of you ladies still bloated? My tummy is fighting with the buttons of my pants :D ! I'm going to run with it and maybe DH will spring for a few new items!

Baby dust to all

My Obgyn is actually the one who refered me to My RE for IVF. She actually thought I had a shot using my own eggs but after a clomiphene challenge the RE advised me to use donor eggs if I wanted a successfull pregnancy. Ask your friends and family who they thought was a good OBGYN and maybe even call up labor and delivery at the hospital you want to go to or what ever hospital your insurance covers.....talk to a nurse on the floor and see who she or he recommends. Did you ask your RE if he had any recomendations?

Yes you are considered high risk because your IVF, I'm not sure if your age is high risk though.

Usually sex is ok, but it can also cause bleeding, because of the sensitivity of the cervix, which is way scarey.

I have a tip for those buttons that don't quite wanna close. Loop a rubber band or thin hair tie through the button hole and then hook it over the button. :D This should help for a little while. :D

yep, I know how hard the wait is! Seems almost longer than the two week wait. We are here for ya! I also have an appt. with Obgyn on the 17th, so maybe we will both get to see our babies on ultrasound again. I don't know if I'm getting one done for sure.

Esperanza: All of those embies....that is great news! Can't wait to hear if you will do the Day 5 transfer.

Colesmom: I was all confused too the first time I took the menopur. I wish I was online last night and could have responded to you. I'm glad you figured it out.

Tali: I'm am keeping my fingers crossed that the egg did release and everything will work out.

Hellokitty: I know exactly what you are talking about with being tired and I'm not even pregnant yet. I can remember when I was pregnant with my daughter that all I did was sleep when I came home from work. That darn progesterone just makes me want to sleep all day!

As for me, I go back for my u/s and b/w tomorrow morning to see how I am responding to the stims. I can feel a little bit of cramping on both sides and hope that means that all kinds of follicles are growing.

I have a general question for all those who can answer. When do you decide how many embies will be put back? Do you decide right befoe the ET or the day before? Does the embryologist come out and talk to you and DH and tell you about the grades of the embies and tell you what they recommend?

Washingtonda: Since you are going to the same clinic I go to, what did they recommend?

When I went for my consult appt. my Dr. told me because I already had a daughter and she didn't think there was an issue with the health of the eggs that she would recommend just putting back one embie with a Day 5 transfer. I am just nervous that the embie may not even make it to a Day 5 transfer and if they do, it may not take if we (no pun intended) put all of our eggs in one basket, you know?

Hi Ladie,

andnichole - DH and I had a conversation before the ET. We didn't know how many made it to 3dt until the day of transfer. The embryologist told us the quality of the embies and how many. So, based on that and my age (also that I have PCOS), we made an agressive decision. Day 5 embies are considered pretty strong. I am like you though, I would be nervous to only gamble with one. We knew we would always put back at least 2. Sounds like your ovaries are responding well to the meds. I could always feel them doing something in there. Can't wait to hear about your u/s and b/w

schel - My obgyn did refer me to my RE but she is not a high risk ob. And all my friends had their kids pretty young and they are mostly back home. Guess I will have to interview if I have to go the high risk route.

Baby dust, ladies!!

Hi all, not sure I have posted on this thread yet. I am looking for a little support during my 2ww. I test on Sat the 19th. Gonna be a long week. My RE put back 5 embies. All looked very good and one was a small one. He wanted to be aggressive because of my "advanced" age.
I feel pretty tired all the time. It must just be from the stress of it all. I have a 1.5 hour commute to the RE's office, so I am enjoying not having to run up there everyday. Does anyone have an opinion on how much rest I should have at this time or why I am so tired?
I hope those of you that are preggers enjoy every moment....best wishes to you all. Those of us still ttcing, you are in my thoughts.

pricecake, Welcome! I think ivf itself can make us all tired. all though you did have 5 embies transfered. You may end up preggo..Were are you from? Just curious because we have a max on our transfers. I think it is 3 here. I wish you the best. How many days left till test? Baby Dust!
