Great news: my levels went from 31 to 77, so my doctor was VERY happy about that. He did say my estrogen and progesterone were a little low, so he's starting me on estrogen pills and upping my PIO to 1.5. He's having me come in for one more beta on Monday to make sure everything still looks good, but he was so happy. I was relieved, to say the least.

beth - I know 45 isn't the number you wanted, but it is a good sign as it did almost double!!! Don't forget it can take up to 3 days to actually double, so you are in great shape!!! (((hugs and prayers)))

Michele - I just KNOW AF is on her way yay!!!

lisa - yay for stims start!!! Happy poking!

Anissa - AWESOME embie report!!!

sportsmom - WELCOME we are so glad to have you!!!

So, I'm totally hooked on this site. I feel like I have this whole new group of friends going throught EXACTLY what I am. It's hard not to check in hourly for updates! Good thing I'm at a computer all day.

Michelle- I'm sorry about you maybe having to wait again. How come they only have availability one week a month? That dosent seem like it would work very well with the fact that our cycles can be so crazy!

Dog/Beth-Great news today. Admit it you are both PREGGERS!! Time to move over to the pregnant after treatment section :)

Butterfly-25 eggs WOW!

Pathfinder- I hope your 2WW dosen't go by to slowly.

I 'm just awaiting AF. I started Lupron on the 27th and if AF arrives this weekend, I can go in for Baseline on MOnday and HOPEFULLY begin Menopur that night. Lupron is not so bad so far..a little crampy and crabby and tired, but that could just be PMS. Hopefully PMS for the last time in 10 months :) I have had a bit of a head ache, but I've also gone off caffeine as well.

have a good weekend everyone...sticky baby dust to all :)

Dogz - I'm really happy for you, 77 is a great number!

(I guess we're done being identical cycle twins!)

I'm not feeling great tonight, but I know that things are out of my hands at this point. If the pregnancy doesn't progress, it's because there is something wrong with the embryo and I need to just let that happen, and I'd rather that happen now than later. I do still have some hope, and expect to have more in the morning.

OK - we have to go to a friend's party that I'd rather stay home from...

Hi All,

I am reading everyone's posts and you are all so inspirational, but a little hard to keep up with!!!!

Beth/Dogz- congrats on your progressing scores today!!! It sounds good for both of you. Stay positive Beth...it will keep going up!

Michele - I'm sending AF vibes your way so you can start this cycle.

On Menopur... my RE said that one always burns because of something in the base (a preservative?). I had the same experience (regardless of where the shot went). Hang in there, it will all be worth it when you get your BFP!

AFM- went to a baby shower with 3 pregger friends yesterday. I know I should have been trying to catch good stickiness from them, but ended up feeling really deflated around all that fertility. Woke up this morning feeling totally normal (sore boobs from Progesterone gone), i.e. not preggers. I am trying to keep the PMA, but this is the same feeling I had on my last cycle about 10 days post ET...that I definitely was not pregnant, and I wasn't. Anyone who has had a BFP with no symptoms would be encouraging to hear from right now. Two more days for me to focus on being PUPO, so I will try to get back to a more positive place.

Much love and sticky dust to everyone, will get some more personals later tonight!

beth - we are NOT done being identical cycle twins. I challenge you to find any other 2 people on this site that had everything as we did the same. I don't care about today's numbers, we are TWINS!!!

amanda - I would not have gone to that shower to begin with, so I think you are a very strong woman!!! I would have reacted exactly the same way hon. Hang in there, your beta is almost here with your BFP!!!

AFM - I asked my nurse what my levels were, and progesterone was 18 (should be 35 or higher), but my estrogen was in the BASEMENT!!! 47, and she would like to see it around 300. Um, mine's a little low. BUT I just picked up my estrogen pills and can't wait to take my 1st one tonight! I'll take them twice a day, and come Monday, we'll see how far up I went. :D

Thanks everyone, for the support and encouragement. And dogz - you are so sweet. Okay, we are still twins...

I think I'm preparing myself for a chemical - I've also had migraines two nights in a row, which I usually get when I have my period, so I don't know what that means about my hormone levels. Also, I've been less crampy today. So who knows. But it ain't over til it's over. I'm going to try to relax this weekend and keep my mind off it.

Ladies it's encouraging to hear the stories of those of you that had no symptoms before your BFP. Other than last night's nausea and a few cramps, I've not gotten anything different than the day I started my PIO. When I didn't have the nausea anymore today I got very worried. Also, my boobs are still sore from the PIO, but not as bad as they have been. I have to keep reminding myself that it's really too early for any real symptoms anyway! Thanks for the encouragement.

Dogz SOOOOOOO happy for you!!!!!! CONGRATS!

Beth Not that this is the same thing but I wanted to share something with you: When I had my transfer they only transfered three because two were really low quality. They also told us that we wouldn't have any to freeze. Basically, other than one good blast my doctor thought the whole thing was a bust. The next day we recieved a call saying that three had progressed to "perfect" blastocysts. My nurse explained that it was probably due to the fact that our retrieval and fert. were in the evening and the "5" day transfer was in the early morning, really making it a 4.5 day transfer. In this business hours make a difference, for embryo's, cells, and hormone levels. I guess I'm just saying that while 45 may not be the number you wanted, its possible that it was at that 50 or 60 mark later in the day. Monday gives you the rest of today, and all of saturday and sunday so I'm sure you'll see your numbers continue to rise!

Amanda You're a stronger woman than I am!! I tend to get in a very very very bad mood after things like that. Soon enough it will be YOUR baby shower people are going to!

Faith and Michele Doing the AF dance!

Tryin4#2 Welcome aboard!!!!

Fitzjr11 Congrats on getting a go on your lupron! Bet you're ready to get moving on this cycle!

Cressicaw The menopur is going to burn, but make sure you let the alcohol dry before you stick yourself. If they alcohol is still wet it can cause more irritation.

FYI...if you google search pregnancy symptoms, as I did after all 7 of my IUI's, all the websites claim most symptoms don't start till several weeks into pregnancy. So I wouldn't worry if you have or don't have symptoms during your 2ww. We are all different and our bodies are diffferent. Stay postitive and PUPO no matter what your feeling or not feeling!!! Know we are all thinking and praying for you guys on the 2ww and those who are about to be.

Hi Everyone!

AFM- Sorry i haven't posted in the last day or so....although i must say there are so many pages to catch up on it is crazy! as you all know they only retrieved 3 and only 2 fertilized and i was a basket case the past several days ( my heartburn is unbearable).

well, i had my ET yesterday and they transferred 2, grade 1-2, 8 celled embies! my doc said it looked fabulous! i am so excited i could scream! i shouldn't get my hopes up, but i am happy. as i think dogz might say, hopefully they are "snuggling in." i am also going back to VT tomorrow ( after 18 days here) to be with my DH and puppies! YEY! now i guess i'm at the 2ww with many of my friends on the board.

Best of luck to everyone today! I will post individually tomorrow when i return home and have more time to catch up.
Everyone.....keep the PMA! :P

beth - I TOTALLY agree with what lw said. I bet if you had gone even a couple of hours later it would have made a huge difference. Monday will bring great news, so hang in there!

cheekyone - can't wait to hear, Monday's within reach!!

sunnygirl - how WONDERFUL to hear such great news on your ET!!!!!! I'm so excited for you, and you're PUPO now! One thing I've learned throughout this whole process is that things are never what they seem. Every time I've gotten discouraging/devastating news, it as turned around to be a miracle EVERY TIME!!! God is so good, mighty and able to do all things.

Hi gals,
I was wondering if I could crash your group. I have my supportive hubby for support but I feel like I need my girls who are going through the same process. I had my transfer yesterday 7/31 and my Beta is scheduled for 8/11. This is my third time doing IVF after taking a year break and losing 20 pounds. I hope and pray this time works!
I look forward to getting to know you all :D
