Well, I felt a little better today and actually got a dive in, but I could only descend about 10-15 feet. At least I got wet! Yeast infection is much better. I used a cream that the RE prescribed and I’ll finish it in 2 days. Going in tomorrow for another check. I hope they don’t trigger me until at least Sunday. I’m feeling a lot going on down there, but I’m nowhere near as swollen as I was last time. I need to get some housekeeping done before my transfer. I try to get all that stuff done so all DH has to do is cook.

J&C – good luck with the acne. Lupron didn’t help my monthly breakouts, but at least they weren’t any worse.

LadyJ – I’m crossing everything for you tomorrow!!! Sticky dust!!!! I will take 1 cc of PIO when I start the injections.

Stats – OMG! I am so surprised about the info you got from your clinic. I hope they have their ducks in a row this time. As for the sinus infection, this is about par for the course. I usually get one in January every year. I think this is just a bad case of pressure and hope it doesn’t turn into a full-fledged infection.

Claud662 – when I take my PIO injections I rotate cheeks from left to right each day.

Bei – I have always been advised to take the meds every 24 hours within about an hour. As for flying, not sure about that. Sounds like Wishful had some good experience.

Wolffie – Only 3 days left!

Cheryl – I KNEW IT!!! Congratulations on your BFP! Consider it updated!

Deftonesmo – Praying for good results!!!!! You need a BFP!

Turtle – you poor thing! I’d definitely call the RE and make sure that the ones you were prescribed by the dentist are ok.

Michele – YAY! Glad you go a good report!

Kala – I don’t take Rx prenatal vitamins, but I do take an over the counter one that is specific for prenatal. I also take an extra 4800mg of Folic Acid every night. My RE suggested that there were studies to show that women who take upwards of 5000 mg of folic acid do not have any ill side effects (the extra is excreted in your urine). So I figure I’ll take extra and what my body doesn’t use, it will get rid of. That way I know I have enough.

Katie – YAY for no BCP! I was miserable last time on mine!

Karling – You’re so funny! Proud of you for doing well on the injections. I can give them to myself with no problem, but I still prefer to have them given to me. And LOVE the massage idea. I wish I could have one every day!!!! I feel ya about the clean house. I’ve got to get started on mine!

Lisa – Did you ever get to schedule another visit with your RE after the last one was postponed?

Malya – Only 2 days left!

Kiwi – how did your appt. go today?

Shoebox – How are you doing?

I’ve seen a couple of people say that they take their stims in the thigh. I was told to take mine around the belly button, but would love to give my stomach a break! Did the RE give those instructions?

Turtle, I am guessing antibiotics are fine. My dr prescribes everyone 2 antibiotics to make sure everyone is as healthy as can be a few weeks before the 12.

Kala, I am just taking flinstone vitamins. Pre natels make me sick, and the dr said these were fine. All they wanted was to make sure there was 400mg folic acid.

Sorry for all the spelling errors. I would say it was because I am typing from m palm but I am a horrific speller to begin with.... I blame my 3rd grade teacher.....enough said, the bad memories are already flooding back

Wow, lots to catch up on in the 24 hours that I haven't posted. I will try to do personals but sorry if I leave anyone out.

Cheryl - YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY!

Lady_J - your transfer is on friday, right? I can't remember, are you transferring 2?

deftonesmo - I am eagerly waiting on your beta news! I have a good feeling!

bei - I'm sure your doc would not stear you wrong with flying. If he thinks it's okay I bet it is. However, if you have any apprehension I think you should do what your gut and your heart tell you.

turtle - root canal...yuck! sorry hun! I would check with your RE to make sure that the antibiotics prescribed are okay. I hope you feel better. I guess better to get the root canal out of the way before your preggo!

shelby - glad you are feeling better. being sick SUCKS! were you able to enjoy diving even though you couldn't go very deep? sounds like your recent SAS went well. Just think that in those follies your future baby(ies) are growing!

Michele - I'm so glad that things are coming together for you! Congrats on having an FET date! Remind me how many embies you have on ice. How many will you be transferring?

kala - right now I am taking an over the counter generic prenatal but I will switch to my prescription once I am done with this bottle. I wanted to finish it up before spending more money.

statsgoddess - so good to hear from you again! I can't believe how insanly huge that mistake was that they made. At least they got it right now and everything will work out!

katie - YAY for no more BCP! It WILL work this time, it WILL!

karling - ohhhh, massage....yum! that sounds fantastic! All that matters is that you get the injections, not who does them! Plus, I think sometimes it really helps our dh to be involved and feel like they have a roll in all this. I just wasn't able to get into this season of big brother. normally i love it but i missed too many episodes in the beginning of the season.

I am sitting at school now. We have open house tonight so I have to be here until 8pm. UGH! I can't wait for this week to be done so I can get through my transfer and park my tush on the couch and let my little embies snuggle in and make themselves comfy.

wolffie -So then umm... open house is like detention for teachers? he he he

I had my follow up app today and it went well. My follistim got dropped to 200 - nice. I have 7 follies on the right and 18 on the left :-) and my lining is looking good too. Hope this continues like that ....

cheryl - congrats :D thats wonderful news

CT_Michele - my ET is scheduled for the 21st or 23rd so you are right in between :-)

kala- I am taking prescriped prenatal vitamins. my RE told me to take them everyday because the tablets include much needed vitamins - I don't know if you really need them but I am taking everything they tell me to, its only vitamins so it can't hurt. the prenatal ones are a little different then the womens vitamins.

bei - my doctor said flying is ok if you fly in a big airplane because the cabin pressure is not so tight but she said not to use the smaller ones (so no short trips better fly to Europe :-) ) I guess there is no scientific evidence against flying so soon.

Karling- my DH is giving me the injections as well. He likes doing it because it's the only thing he can contribute so far besides moral support.

you all have a wonderful evening.

Stats - LMAO about the detention for teachers! That's a classic! I have to go to a high school open house next week and I am going to mention that to them! LOL!!!!! I am the same way about the site. I keep it up on my computer and keep hitting the refresh button about every 5 minutes!

Kiwi - That's great! Lots of little follies to choose from!

kiwi - sounds like your appt. went great! lots of follies!!!

Only 15 more minutes and then I get to spring from this place!!!

shelby - Man - yeast infections are the worst AND a sinus infection. YUCK!!! Grow, follies, grow!!!!! Our RE says you can give stims either in the stomach area or in the thigh. I've always done the stomach area though. To me, the thigh seems like it would hurt a lot more.

johannita - 2 frosties - whew-hew!!!!! As for your MIL, I've learned to do what I need to do over the past 6 1/2 year fertility roller coaster. I would stay away from her like the plague!!! And if you ran into her, and she brought it up, I would probably go off on her. I've decided that if people are rude enough to ask, then I'm rude enough to tell them off. I'm usually a very sweet person, but in areas of fertility, I've lost my tolerance. I've told a few people off over the years, and quite frankly, I didn't mind it a bit.

claud - When I have multiple shots on the same night, I do them all on the same side, b/c I've iced one area.

cheryl - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I can't believe this thread is on such a roll. WHEW-HEW!!!!!! :D

turtle - I am SO SORRY that you had to have a root canal. :( I hope it was a painless procedure for you. I hate teeth pain/work with a passion. UGH!!!!

kala - I'm taking an OTC prenatal vitamin. Heck - I've been taking a prenatal vitamin since we started trying forever ago to get pregnant. I have another friend who has a DD through IVF and is doing her second IVF round now. We were laughing so hard about that. Her RE recently asked her if she was taking a prenatal vitamin, and she was like "Yeah - since we started trying to get pregnant 4 years ago. Once a day, every day." We laughed and laughed. These doctors forget that we do exactly what we're told and then some just to get pregnant. *sigh*

katie - Hey girl. I've been on BCP for 6 weeks. I wondered the same thing, but RE says I'm fine. I'm with you on starting Lupron. So glad to get this party started! :D

karling - I'm a big wimpo baby right along with you. I lay on the bed, cover my head with a pillow (seriously), and DH gives me the shots. LOVE massages (very jealous)...and on our first IVF cycle when I was working, we also hired a housecleaner which was heaven!!! We miss it soooooooo much, but I'm also glad to be at home now too.

kiwi - Holy cow - grow, follies, grow!!!! 18 on the left side??? Definite overachiever. :D

deftonesmo - Can't wait to hear your fabulous news!!!

AFM - I was also hoping (wolffie) that the Lupron would somehow clear the acne. I very rarely ever have acne, but I look horrible right now. What's a girl to do? I've received 2 Lupron shots to date, both successfully and without pain.

PMA to all!!!!

I didn't know there were so many of us teachers here on this thread. I have Back to School Night on the 24th, the same day as my u/s.

cheryl Yay! Congrats!

deftonesmo GL on your beta result! I had to do all mine right after school and find out the following morning too. As you may remember, for the first one I even told them not to call me because I didn't want to get bad news in the middle of a class and then start crying or something. I waited until 3:30pm for the first result. =)

mjay I assume your u/s going to be around the time of mine? Hopefully you've been feeling better.

Wolffie- I have 4 frosties(3 day). The plan is to thaw and transfer 2, but if for some reason one does not make the thaw, then the other 2 would be thawed and we would potentially put in 3. It all depends on how they thaw. I just don't want to be left with one, because I would never want to transfer less than 2.

Hello Girls...I had such a busy day today, I didn't have a chance to check in. Sorry if I missed anyone.

Statsgoddess – I guess anything is possible, but that is such a gross missjudgement on your clinic's part. Althought we try to trust our RE, it’s stories like these that make us second guess them. I wish you luck on your next cycle. I'm sure everthing will go smoothly. They owe you! lol :D

cheryl010120 – YYYEEEAAAHHHH!!!! That is soo great. You know, I was going to ask you if you had a 7 day trans. That would have been a first for me. :D PRAISE THE LORD is right!!!!! I pray that everything continues to go well with you.

Lady_J - I’ll be thinking and praying for you. I wish you luck on your big day. What is CM? I’m feeling alright, thanks for asking.

turtle0619 – I’m currently having dental issues too! My dentist replaced an old metal filing and it had been sensitive since she did it. She said to give it time and so I did. Now I chipped the new filing. The girl I spoke with said I prob need a root canal! ARGH, I don’t even want to go back there. I don’t think there’s anything I can even do at this point since I’m on my 2ww! I’m just scared it’s going to get worse. I would check with RE about your antibiotics.

CT_Michele – I am so happy you have a date Michele!! That’s great news. GL

kala0704 – I’m not sure where you are with your cycle but when I had my ER I was told NOT to take Advil or anything with Ibuprofin. I was told to take Tylenol extra strength instead. Not sure about the prenatal vitamins. Mine are prescribed.

katie99 – I pray that this is your cycle!!! I hope you end up with some snowbabies too.

shelbyrn0214 – Glad you were able to go diving today. I tried to get things done before my ET and I ended up doing it the night before and DH thought I was going crazy. I’m the queen of procrastination.

Kiwi – sounds like your stimulation is coming right along. Nice work!

Deftonesmo – You sound so calm about it. I’m on pins and needles. Can’t wait to hear your results! GL Hun.

J&C – I try not to be rude to her since she is my MIL and all and I have spit my venom at her in the past so she knows how I can be. I think she forgets at times or something. lol

AFM, I'm doing ok. I was a little crampy after ET and then I sucombed to constipation. lol I feel better now thanks to Colase. :D I'm just waiting, waiting, waiting. My boobs are huge, which DH LOVES. (he's a boob man) and the cramping is sneaking back. I'm only 4dp3dt. I have this chart that says my embies should now be looking for a place to attach on my uterine lining. Tomorrow they should be attaching. I'm slowly going crazy.

Good luck ladies! I'm always thinking and praying for you.

Hi girsl i am gate crashing again!!!
Turtle we try not to give Antibiotics to patients if pregnant unless really bad infection, i would def. ask your doctor before you take them it could be ok but just double ck. Sometimes dentists prescribe ab after root canal just in case you need it if the tooth flares up but that doesnt necessary mean there is an infection they just give it as a precaution. Def. ck with both dentist and doctor before you take them as antibiotics can react to different meds. Hope you are getting some relief from the tooth, if you have no pain today then the tooth is reacting well to the medicine that would be placed with temporary filling and prob. no need for antibiotics i am not an expert but have worked as dental nurse for 10 yrs
