Again, forgive me for not keeping up well with this thread! I can't believe how busy it is!! I've been in a lot of pain with my cyst and can't spend much time sitting. uuuugh!

Mia - Congrats on your 9 embies!!! That's so, so great. You will be a momma in no time with that number!!

Becky - When was your last scan? Your follicles are great sizes! I am sure you will have success with the retrival. I only have 5 follicles and as of Friday, they were only 11, 11, 10, 9 & 9! I sure hope they've all grown A LOT by tomorrow. My retrieval was supposed to be this week, like yours, but I haven't even been told to start any ovulation suppression drugs! I don't 'get' why I am so slow to stim!

Vickie - Do you know how fast follies typically grow? I hope your HCG shot went WELL tonight!!! How exciting!!

Aunty - Congrats of your AF and GOOD LUCK with your Baseline Tuesday. YIPPEEEEE!!!! Thanks for remembering me...

Thank-you 2 every1 for your good wishes! My HCG was fine.... I was there with a pillow over my face, gritting my teeth but I felt it no more than the others!!!
Just one more day 2 go and this time 2moro they will have taken my little follies out!! i have 2 b there very early in the mornin so will b havin an early nite 2nite!

Thank you so much for sharing and the support. It really does help. Yeah, Debz, I also had the hystersonogram where the die goes through your tubes to see if they are open. And, holy cow, that was awful. It was one of the first tests I had and I think is part of what has made me so nervous. The sonohystogram is like embro transfer but they run saline into your uterus watching with ultrasound to make sure that you don't have any polops (sp) and that your uterus is suitible for IVF. That wasn't as bad as the HSG, but not fun. At least my hubby (I'm not quite up to speed on all the appreviations yet) got to be with me.

Aside from a burst appendix when I was 7 that left scar tissue that is causing my problems, I've been very healthy all my life. Not many doctors at all. I know I have to get used to and accept the medical process of having a baby, I'm just struggling with fear. I am a very strong willed person, but I feel anxiety just walking into a hospital. We actually put IVF off for one cycle after our IVF consultation because I got so nervous. I'M SO VERY GLAD I DID WAIT. Counseling, talking to a few women that have been through IVF, and just giving myself time to wrap my head around everything that is involved has made a huge difference. I've gone from terrified to nervously excited and I belive that will help my outcome. Reading all these stories and feeling part of someone elses process I think might push me over the hump. Again, I'm very thankful.

Mary oh i did have one of those but didnt know thats what it was called...ding bat i am... oh i hope we can help you through this its really so exciting and i love that we get too our little ones from around 8 cells old only us blessed ladys will ever have a picture like that we get to know when our little ones are created and they are loved from pre conception how many kids can say that....its a wonderful ride we are all in together

Vickie i hope you know you have 30 women all mentally with you tomorrow (promise we will be at the head of the bed ) if you get worried just picture us there (with our clothes on though dont want to scare you)

Karen im so sorry your still in a lot of pain sending you something to pop the cysts... hes on his way i hope you feel better soon.

Just came back from u/s. My cyst got even bigger! I'm waiting for the verdict but I'm preparing myself for cancellation. The doctor thinks that I ovulated even though I was on BC. And Lupron somehow didn't help. Oh, well. On the top of that we got a hurricane heading our way. I'm trying to find something positive in it. I found one thing: if we get hit by a hurricane and loose power, at least I won't have to be mixing Menopur with the flashlight in one hand. But seriosly, I'm really depressed.

oh KF im not surprised your down ... ok can i ask afew questions...
arnt you on down regging... or is down reggin after BC? i dont understand why they only had you on 5 units of Lupron... my clinic use 20 units of for down regging and then drops it to 10 for stimming to prevent ovulation so them giving you 5 doesnt make sense they would expect you not to ovulate with only 5 units....im sorry for all the questions im just trying to understand what your clinic are doing.

AuntyPebbles, I know it is strange. I asked the doctor twice if they were planing to increase my dose of Lupron. He said no.
I was on BC pills for one cycle. I started doing Lupron shots (5 units) 7 days before my last active BC pill. Common sense tells me they should've increased my Lupron to 10 units. I guess it all depends on the hormone levels. But it is weird tho. I think I'm the only one on the board with 5 units. I'll let you know what they say today. They are supposed to call me sometime after lunch. Now the hurricane track shows that it is comming right at us.

Good afternoon everyone

I didn't have time to log in this morning and can't believe how many posts there are to read. What a really exciting time it is for us all. I have got my scan tommorow and have started to get worried today. What if there are no follies or too many, or growing too quickly. I would hate for something to go wrong at this point. On a good note I used menopour for IUI so I know that it does work for me, and I have had some tinges so I think something is working.

Aunty - Good luck with your baseline tommorow.

KF - I hope that you get some good news from your doctor, and that the hurricane turns away. I was in Orlando when Hurricane FFloyd hit which turned just at the last minute. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Macca - Not long till you test now. Hope you are well

Mary - Welocme to the thread. Like you my tubes are blocked from Scar tissue from having my appendix out when I was 9. I hate pain, particulairly when they put the catheter in tha back of your hand. Just think of having a baby at the end of all this and I am sure it will be worth while.

Vicki - Good luck with EC. I hope that you get lots of lovely embrios.
