We - I am so sorry to hear about your uncle. Your mail about him was very touching and beautiful and of course I prayed for the best thing for him, just like you wrote. Sorry he won't get to meet your girls now, but you have given each other a life full of love and beautiful memories. Hugs.

Leora - Like everybody else I'm crossing everything for you! I never saw 2 lines, or a plus or whatever, not even when the beta came back 300 the day before. I hate those tests.

AFM-I spend hours on the phone yesterday telling everyone. I just hope the next 8 weeks go well. Mama comes today! I have a lot of laundry for her to help with. I cant remember who asked if anyone likes the Olympics....my family has always been obsessed. We would record it and watch it non stop. I loved the gymnastics olympic trials!

okay - I know dumpster diving for dried tests is a bad idea, but I've been shaken up all day --- I just got home from work and dug through the trash -- definitely faint BFPs. Phew.

My mom called and I missed the call. She knows we are cycling and is waiting to know whether to book my flight for August or not.

Can I tell her so early? SOOOO EXCITING!

Maria- I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle, I know it's an emotional time it's hard to let go of someone you cared so deeply about and I know you wanted him to meet the girls. As you said he no longer suffers and he will be watching over all you in heaven. I'll definately keep you all in my prayers.
Also please forgive me for not responding back to your inbox message, with everything going on our treatment is on hold right now. I'll explain more on that later.

Leora- Oh goodness diving in the dumpster, you do want this soooo bad! lol Thursday cannot come soon enough but please don't enter crazytown with the pee sticks. As for your mom tell her to wait until Thursday when you get the results back and then you'll know more. I'll try to keep you from losing your mind along the way but only if you preoccupy yourself and step away from the pee sticks!

Kala- Congrats once again and I really hope the next 8 weeks goes well too. Forgive me for asking but is this your first pregnancy, sounds like it could very well be!

WaitingKay- It ain't over until the beta lady sings. As one of my dearest friends tell me keep your chin up, we'll get through this together!

Kynlee- Thank you so much for the card I got in the mail when we got home late last night. I missed her so much at the hotel and even though we had 2 queen size beds dh ended up wrapping his arms around me with much comfort and we ended up falling asleep together. I know my grandmother is up in heaven right now with her Papa looking down on all of us. Thank you once again. BIG day tomorrow! I know you are sooo ready for your embabies to come home with you. Just like fireworks we can celebrate together and I cannot wait to hear your embie report!!

AFM: Drove 7 hours to Huntsville for a 30 minute interview, really?! They videotaped it for the college president to review and yes it would of been even shorter 18 minutes probably if dh had not asked his questions. I just don't think it went well but you know me I really don't want to move again so I'm stuck in limbo. Something else has to come along that's better then this, well we have a year to find out. Now if they offered him a huge salary I MIGHT consider moving but he shouldn't take the first thing that comes along.

Leora - If i were in your shoes, i would wait to tell mom. so many times we see BFp's that don't pan out. I would hate to see everyone get excited and then it not working.. YKWIM. Though it will work so don't listen to me.

Maria - so sorry about your uncle. Going peacefully is good.

Leora - I think I would wait too. You better than most people know that you're never really safe until the baby is home from the hospital, but I guess I'd wait to make sure that it's more than just a chemical pregnancy.

Julia - is this based off of blood tests, or did you do an amnio? You seem a little far along to be finding out about trisomy 18. If it's just the blood tests, they aren't at all conclusive, they just give odds, so for your doctor to say you "might have" trisomy 18 sounds a bit presumptuous.

Madam x: 16 is just fantastic. You must be delighted?

Afm: went for social worker/adoption meeting. So, despite having three independent reports on dh's MS which were all positive and recommended that he would be fine to parent, the bloody medical officer says he doesn't think so because of the 'uncertain nature' ' of his relapsing-remitting MS. The adoption agency have told us that he wants another opinion and wants the overall adoption board to make that decision - but they dont have a medical officer at the moment!! Its ridiculous!! But on the plus side the adoption agency are suggesting we do the assessment which takes place over 8 meetings, then they will write up their report as to whether or not they think we are ok or not to adopt. If its positive (which they have said it may not be due to ken's illness) then we might have stronger grounds to appeal if the board turn us down. So first meeting is Monday, then social worker is on holidays, then they meet me on aug 9 for an individual meeting then ken on the 16th for his. After that we will schedule the remaining 5 meetings. I've said we will be on hold for two weeks beginning aug 20 as im scheduled for transfer sometime that week!!!! The timing of all this is crazy. They are really concerned the process will be too stressful for Ken.

AFM - Have my first official appointment with the OB/GYN on Thursday morning! No new news since my last update. The Nuchal Translucency test showed everything normal durring my first trimester screening. Waiting for blood results tests which I think are due around the July 15th. Ill post an udpate after my first meeting with doctor on Thursday morning. I think he might be taking me off of progesterone suppository, injection and lovenox soon Right now I am just praying that the blood test come back all normal

Thanks all for prayers, they worked! Saw our baby boy this morning and he is fine. The results were based on blood tests, afp to be precise and they were not even supposed to be testing for anything but Spina bifida bc they can fix that. I told my ob specifically not to test for anything they couldn't fix! Assholes. Anyway-we have another ultrasound Monday with the Dr from kosairs. Will keep you posted.

Ninde-I keep turning Skype on but never see you our Maria online when I do! how are you??
