I don't think I ever lost weight...but then I was tiny when I had them (118 pounds at the beginning and then I weighed 140 or so at delivery!!!) I'm starting out higher than delivery weight with this one!!! Ugghhh, gotta quit thinking like that, I'm also 13/14 years older LOL Good luck on the job prospect too, if you're offered the job will you take it? Such a hard decision...and again so close to your delivery date too! Would they possibly let you start after the summer courses? Which would buy you 3-4 months? Are you going to take off some time after delivery too? Hmm, again...hard decision. If you took the job and you guys moved, are you closer to family?
Well it may be 13 years later, but think how much more mature and ready you are for this one :) My dh might be losing his job soon. So that is why I am looking for a job. I am leaving it in God's hands. Worse case scenario: have baby at the end of October and then use subs through tthe end of semester then start in mid-January 2.5 mos off. I hope this doesn't happen, but I wont worry about it until it is time to worry :) I would be close to family if we move, but I will be moving away from family as well. So like i said, It is in God's hands.

Its late at night and I'm so excited I can't think about sleeping. I'm now 5dp6dt and decided to try another brand of hpt. The first one (earlier this evening)was a dollar store test and I did happen to have a First Response test so I figured I had nothing to loose......same thing...BFP! This time the line is solid and definite, no squinting or holding the stick at different angles to see the line. Its definitely there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPEEEEEEEEEE! I feel so much better. GOD IS GREAT. I prayed and prayed and prayed for this and He has answered my prayers. Thankyou Lord!

Nicaliw: Well, a dark line on First Response and only 5 days after transfer....I'm thinking multiples!!! Congrats! Can't believe we've had so many BFP's on here.

On the other group I post in, we just had a BFN today...sad :( She said that not everyone in the group can have a BFP so she felt she was the statistic....I hope I'm not the statistic on this group :) Hard to think of it that way.

Well, just stopped by to check on everyone. No AF yet :( Keep up those positive attitudes ladies!!!

Kbat: Good luck !!! Praying for you!

So what exactly is Mamliga? We did a project for the Around The World Day (a homeschool festival of sorts) and we studied the Philippines. It was neat to learn about their foods and such. Maybe we can do one on the Ukraine or Moldova....the food looks delicious. The food we ended up doing for the Philippines was Champorado (chocolate rice)...it was very very chocolate'y....plus the rice was sweet rice, so it was quite a bit different...oh and they pour sweet milk (or condensed milk) over it!!! and eat it for breakfast with dried fish!!!! LOL So again..much different taste buds there, but we really enjoyed sharing it with people.

Well, still no AF :( Tomorrow is day 31....here we go again! Why does my body do this to me!?!?

CONGRATS NIC!!!

Praise God. I am soooo happy for you!!!! WHat did your dh say????

Indie: With God stats don't matter, just His will. I know you know this but wanted to remind you it is in His hands. Prayign AF starts SOON for you. Mamaliga is a cornmeal and boiled water type of stick bread. YOu take a piece and dip it is sourcream, feta cheese, gralic, and fried pork (or not for Sonu :)) It is Ukraine (and Moldovas) National dish. It is considered poor people food, but I make everyone make it for me when I am there! They eat a lot of potatopes and cabbage and fatty oilly foods. yum!

kbat: Stop typing and get to work! :0) Praying that this month is THE month for you.

Sonu: I just made tacos today :) But with meat... do you like fish tacos?? I lOVE them. Although I have had a fish aversion lately.

Went to doc today. One hour wait for him to check blood pressure feel around my tummy and send me out the door. Said everything is fine and not to worry at all about weight loss and not eating! 18 weeks I will get an u/s, right before my trip to Moldova. Everything else is fine here. Still burined in papers to grade :( UGH!

Indie---hope AF comes soon. I know I was waiting a lot after last IVF cycle and instead of about 28-29 days it was more like 32 days before it came. It can be maddening waiting for it to come (who would have ever thought we would be waiting for it to arrive?)

Mia, Sonu and everyone--thanks for your prayers. Still have some hope left in me and hopefully, this month I ovulated on the right side--literally.

Job is winding down. I thought our last day would be May 2, but technically it's May 9. Don't know if I'll stay until the 9th--mainly because all our work will be done and we will be farmed out to other departments to help out for the last week. The extra money would be a nice thing and pretty much everyone else will be staying around for the extra $$$, but w/ so many things to do around the house (like cleaning flower beds, etc.), I am anxious to get that over and done w/.... Maybe I will work a half week? I guess I will decide next week. People want to make as much as possible so when unemployment hits they'll make some extra $$. I don't feel right about doing unemployment b/c for most people (not all) this is kind of supplemental income and it's not like they are really looking for permanent work. I think unemployment is for when you lose your job and need the money while looking for something else. Oh well, I guess I can do the right thing anyway.

KBat: I think you have the right idea about work. I never filed for unemployment when I'd lose a job that was seasonal. Plus I haven't worked for a 'living' in a long time. I've worked for spending cash, or just to interact with people...etc. I loved my merchandising job, but sadly gave it up this past year and have regretted it since :( Sometimes I think that I'd like to do it again....and work around our homeschooling schedule and such, but then with gas prices going up up up I rethink it LOL Thanks for the thoughts on AF. I know when I was waiting on her for the 3day testing, she came at 28 or so days....but the one before that was 36 days :( I'm at 31 I think today and while I woke up CRAMPING horribly, once I'm awake, my mind takes over and I stall myself :( It's almost like when my body is asleep it's processing everything and getting ready to start, but again, once I am awake my mind shuts that process down again. Maybe I should sleep all day LOL

Mia: YUMMY that sounds delicious. My step mother is Cuban and they eat a lot of fried, gooey foods too LOL My little ones are Hispanic....so we try to incorporate lots of different foods here. I'll have to look up how to make that dish! On the note of Fish taco's...I always thought YUCK when I'd hear that, but then I saw the recipe and it looks good. I was envisioning these tuna taco's with everything you put on a regular beef taco...but the ingredients are a bit different so it all works LOL

I hate to sit at a doctors office. Tuesday when we had all those appointments it was CRAZY trying to stay on a schedule. I don't understand why they overbook to where you're waiting for an hour or more just to see them for 5 minutes. At the eye doctor, our appointment was at 8:45 and we didn't see him until 10:15!!!! We had an orthodontist appointment at 11:00 clear across town....but we still made it by 11:03 LOL Then music at noon so you'd think we had plenty of time (ortho appt was a check up and normally takes 15-20 minutes) NOPE, he had a bracket pop off so we didn't leave until 11:45 and still had to squeeze in lunch....so we went through a drive through and ate at music lessons, then jetted to their Science class at 1 (that was the only thing we weren't late for LOL). I hope you're making a dent in those papers! You'll love that summer break won't you LOL I guess that's when you're going to Moldova?

So NIC....???? Any more HPT's to share? Confirmed????

Well, still no AF :( This is ridiculous!!! I'm so irritated with my body right now, why does it have to do this. I know it's my mind doing it, stressing myself out to the point of holding off AF. I didn't think this stressed me out to that point, kind of worries me about the whole process. Well, maybe she'll show up soon....if not who knows what I'll do.

Just a quickie to say.........

Indie - I'm doing the AF jig for you (as best I can without losing my lunch) - but Elmo will do a little better job! ;) Image

Kbat - Praying this will be the month for you!!! Praying for strong Qi Image healthy follies and fertilization!!

Sonu - when is your next appt?? How you doing?

Nikki - are you still bouncing on cloud 9!?! :) so happy for you sweetie! When is your 1st beta?? I can't recall off hand. Praying for strong #s!!

Mia - Sorry the doctor was so slow - but at least he had good news!! Glad to hear they aren't concerned about your weightloss. I'm sure you'll catch up soon enough. Still wading thru papers to grade? :( I don't envy ya there. Good luck - pace yourself!! ;)

Hi to Apdean, Kildean, Chriss and everyone else - you're all in my daily prayers :) Wishing you the best!

Not much new for me - just added a bit of a sniffle and sneezing fits to my nausea. Otherwise, still working thru the m/s. 1st appt with OB is next Friday. Working on my list of questions - it's already so long!! Anyone have any questions that you've thought of asking (or have asked) that might not be in the typical range of questions for a 1st OB appt?? I feel like it's going to take her hours to answer them all - but I don't want to leave anything out.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I will try to catch up, but we have our sons (my DSSs) as well as my SIL here from NYC - so I will likely not have a lot of time to myself this wknd... Still haven't told the boys - hope they don't figure it out on their own!
