Hi Everyone! I wanted to join this thread, I didn't find this earlier so I started one under Pregnancy after IVF called February 2011 Babies where I met PA_FA! Congrats to all the other BFPs on this thread! For those who had disappointing cycles, I've been and know how awful it feels but now I believe it when they say it will happen. Just believe, parenting is in your future.
I'd like to introduce myself, I'm 36yo and live in Chicago, IL and have been undergoing ART for over 4 years. After 6 IUIs and 4 IVFs and getting BFNs all those years we finally got our BFP!
We did a 3dt on 05/24/10, had my first beta on 06/07/10 of 560 and second beta on 6/9/10 of 1759! Because our beta tripled our RE wanted to see us to determine the number of sacs. This past Monday on 6/14/10 we had a vaginal U/S and there were TWO SACS! Our RE said that he could already see faint cardiac activity in one, we should definitely see more next week. So, we'll be going in on 06/21/10 and then, maybe then, I'll start to use the "P" word

and the "T" word too.
My RE says once he sees cardiac activity he will transfer me to my OB, in fact he told me go ahead and make an appt for 06/28/10. It all just feel so great - well besides the exhaustion and queasiness and cramps
Wondering what meds everyone is still on? I'm on Estrace 3x day, Prenatal Vitamin, Folic Acid, Aspirin, E2 supp AM/PM, Crinone gel AM/PM, and my RE is tapering me off of dexamethasone.
Also hoping to get some pregnancy book recommendations? I'm getting cross-eyed with all the Google searches I've been doing so it'll be nice to actually have a book in hand to reference as well.
Thanks for letting me share my story and looking forward to "talking" to you all!
