Smita

Great to hear from you. I'm sorry you're suffering from the nausea as well, it's not the most pleasant of experiences, but I have to say I'm so happy to be in this situation I don't think I care what side-effects I suffer - I truly have never been so happy.

I've hit that bench-mark stage and apparently from now on it's weight, weight, weight all the way. Mind you, as long as Little One is ok I don't care how much I gain - I welcome the challenge at the other end

Do you find that you sometimes take a look at your ever-changing body and feel amazed by what is going on? I still have to pinch myself that this is for real sometimes!!!

Will you get to see DH for Christmas - it's just you mentioned that he would have a shock when he sees you in January, so does that mean you will be apart?

I can't believe that you're nearly 30 weeks - it's starting to fly by now isn't it?

Big hugs

Little P

Hopefully tree is going up on Saturday - we've got a massive one again so DH will be going up the ladder to do the top this time.

I'm so sorry you won't be together - we will provide the cyber hugs for the day...

Feeling a tad crabby today - really bad sore throat!!! I shall go out and do the shopping and then crawl back into bed I think. I reckon I might be just a bit over-tired  :?

Hope everyone is doing ok.

Hi Smita - lovely to hear your news - you are good with the personals. I'm so sorry you and DH aren't together for Christmas - we'll have to have a virtual party on here for you. Just think of next year though - you'll have your little darling bouncing on your knee dressed up in a 'my first Christmas' outfit, DH for cuddles, lovely family Christmas - it sounds a long way away but it's not really. I hope this year doesn't feel too hard for you. It's amazing how quick your due date is coming around - once Christmas is out of the way, it'll be here in a flash!

Love and Hugs, Cheryl

(P.S - For Lil P - I'm glad I'm not the only who has proper conversations with little one - I'm so used to doiing it, I regularly do it in public which gets me a few looks too!!)

Hello ladies,
Sorry it's been a while I have been under the weather. Nasty cold so I have been wiped out from it.
I am so excited I go for my ultra sound in about 3 hours and we get to find out if I have a Samantha in there or a Joseph. I am so excited I can't stand it. I slept so poorly last night cause I kept thinking about being able to see the baby today.
Smita I am so sorry you won't be with your DH, at least you are with family though. I know it's not the same.
Lil P glad to see how well things are going for you. I am so jealous of your 3 D scan. I can't seem to find a place that offers them and I think they are pretty expensive here in the states.

Love to all
Joy

I have a "mad" buddy - excellent!! The bigger I get the more I talk to Little One - ah well, I think DH knew that one day they would certify me!!!

Joy

Fantastic to see you back - sorry you've been under the weather. There are some horrible colds doing the rounds aren't there. I've woken up today with a nasty sore throat and the hot and cold flushes. Now I'm panicking about Little One - will this worry ever go away - will I ever relax?

Good luck with the scan and look forward to hearing whether we're celebrating Samantha or Joseph.

Big hugs to you all.

Hi Kim

My goodness - only a few weeks to go, how the time is flying by. I hope that you are feeling ok and not too uncomfortable. Also that the maternity leave is suiting you and you're not doing too much.

Cheryl, Jacs, Joy, Ange, Brandy, Carla, Esther, Olivia (and anyone else I've missed :? ) - I hope that you are all ok and looking after yourselves.

Has anyone been out buying things - I've been looking at loads of stuff and it's great fun - finally being in a Baby Department/Shop and knowing that this time it's for me and DH, I can barely contain my excitement

Big hugs to you all.

Joy - fantastic news on your little man - he sounds delicious!! There's some lovely things for baby boys in shops at moment - reallly cute.

Lil P - yes madness it is - we've been gripped. I've been singing an old song from Nana Mouscuri (No idea how to spell it) to mine - 'Only Love' - don't know why, it just jumped into my head one morning and its become our morning shower song!! Problem is sometimes I forget DH is still at home and we are both mortified when I emerge after belting my heart out - really isn't meant forr an audience!

Hello everyone else - how are those backs holding up? I've started developing really bad lower back pain - don't know how I'm goiing to cope when I get even heavier,

Cheryl

Sorry about the back pain - it is uncomfortable isn't it. I've found a cushion helps to relieve it, especially at night time.

Keep singing - your bump's enjoying it I'm sure

My cold is now fully out which is good, so although I can't take anything for the nose, throat, cough, etc - at least I know I'm on the road to recovery!!!

Hope everyone is doing ok.

My goodness we are so quiet here at the moment.

Has anyone got any plans for the w/e. We are putting up our tree tomorrow

Image - Image

We got it last w/e and it is absolutely enormous - I just can't wait, I'm so excited....

So how are all you ladies feeling - anyone found out the sex, or are we all waiting?

Big hugs to you all.

Hi Lil P - yes it is quiet lately, perhaps everyone's busy with Christmas preparation. I still don't know sex but I'm having my 3d scan next Thurs so I need to decide by then whether I want to know. I put my tree up yesterday - couldn't wait any longer! I love it when the house is all Christmassy - I've even wrapped all my pressies and they're under the tree - I've never been this organised - I'm really loving not working, I've just got so much time to myself. I'm going to try a cushion for my back - thanks for the tip.

Hope you're feeling great - you've got less than a week till 3rd tri - OMG how exciting's that!!

Saw you post and wondered if you are having your 4d scan at MUMS in Knowle. We had our scan there and they were lovely. The lady who did our scan was great she made us feel very excited and the language she used was a lot more personal than NHS (they don't have as much time really).

BE prepared to burst into tears the first time you see your baby's face on the screen, it was amazing and suddenly you feel all this love. I looked over and John was a wreck like me!!!

Have a great time and cherish every minute because it is over way too fast and you will definitely want one every week after!!

WE got our scan on DVD and I captured about 300 images off it, so we have lots of 4d scan pics.

Take care

Jackie
