Hello all
I am sorry I have been MIA. I have been stuck in meetings. I just wanted to pop in to tell KF that I hope and pray you get some good news. We will all be thinking of you...

KF - keeping my fingers crossed for you - lets hope you get good news and that the hurricane decides to go else where !!

wish I could offer advise but still a little unfamiliar with dosages and terminology here but my thoughts are with you and passing on big hugs....

I had my first scan this morning and got the all clear to continue although they did find a small fybroid (sorry spelling?) which they will keep an eye on. Starting menupor tomorrow so praying for loads of little folies to grow

It feels so good to get the first scan out of the way, hardly slept last night so very tired today and grumpy... how bad do the mood swings get with menupor - need to pre-warn DH, bless him !!

Aunty - good luck with your scan tomorrow.

Vicki - good luck too with your EC - here's to many little embies.

I am back from my appt. Ok here goes...and I don't know what I am talking about so bear with me.

He said my follicles are all doing great...there is not one predominant follicle. He counted roughly 4-5 on right side and 7 on left side. He measured several of them and they all range from 10-13 (don't know the units). He said he was very pleased...that he did not want too many follicles because the quality will go down if I had too many.. He said he thinks I will have in the low "teens" of follicles. My lining looked great (he said). It was 8.7, and he said that it was "tri" I don't know what he meant but he showed me three white lines. He said this is what they look for and is the best for implantation.

He was very encouraging and said I am doing great. Retreival is tentatively set for Saturday.

I am happy with this news, right? Does my number of follicles sound low? Good?

Please give me your input.

Zirly: Ur follies sounds just GREAT

And dont forget, u have untill Saturday for them to grow bigger

. Ur doc sounds very thorough - mine wasnt as perciffic (spelling) just telling me i had 4 on the right at a good size, and a few more little ones on the left

I dont know what my lining was/is, and i havent got a clue wot 'tri' means either

so im with u on that one lol. Im so pleased for u - roll on Saturday.

KF: I hope that hurricane has changed its mind and is heading the other direction (not towards anyone else either) Hugzzz to u xxx

Nimble: If i be honest with you - my moods got a lot BETTER with the menopur. Maybe it was just me, im not sure how other people have reacted on this

But hey u can always tell ur DH that u will be worse than ever - then milk it if nothing is going ur way! haha! Works everytime for me

Oh i did find that i was eating more (ive put on a fewwwwww extra pounds

but as my DH says: 'Im eating or my folicles now'

Zirly- great news on the follies. Sounds like things will be all go for Sat.

Vickie- Thinking of you for tomorrow. I remember how nervous I was but it was ok. Even felt a bit pampered as had never been in a private hospital before! Good Luck

Macca- Are you feeling any more positive? The 2ww is the worst, horrible being in limbo. But try and keep up the PMA. I know you said that you on [previous postives you knew, but I can honestly say I hadno symptoms at all. Hold in there!

MaryD- Welcome. Sounds like you are well prepared for the journey ahead.

Becky- Yeah, last injection in a couple of hours. Like the PMA that it wil be your last ever! Keep it up.

Debz- Good luck for your scan tomorrow. Glad you can now get started/ Your on your way

My AF finally arrived, so only one more cycle before I can start. Will definatley be having treatment in Oct so will continue to read up on you all, but will havea look overat the oct. Board.

Casy lmao me and jackie did that last time but on so many different threads they all thought we where nuts (thats how jackie got the nick name "Stalker"....)... its good to read you im pleased everythings going well so far for you.

welsh i hate when they do that... i sat down today to watch Gilmore Girls and they put stupid Kyle xy on instead so i was not happy
