As far as I know you don't have to keep Lupron in the refrigerator. You can keep it at a room temperature below 77F. (you might want to verify it though)jsm7502 wrote:uh-oh! I left my Lupron out of the refridgerator over night. I was cleaning up all of the various viles and supplies, and was so worried about accidentally throwing it away that I decided to do it in 2 trips, but I forgot about it!
I went ahead and used it for my injection tonight and put it back in the refridgerator, but will call tomorrow to ask about it.
Does anyone know? I would hate to mess things up at this point!
They told me I have around 15 follies that are big enough, I have some more but I am not sure if they will be useful for the retrieval itself....KF'06 wrote:Wow, vicky77, that's so exciting!
How many follies do you have? Sorry, I forgot if you mentioned it before.
They did not say anything in particular regarding water, I asked them and they say it is always good to drink plenty of water, about the food, you are not supposed to eat anything after midnight the night prior to ER, like any other surgery.KF'06 wrote:Vicky, 15 is a great number! Did they tell you how to prepare for ER? Do you need to drink a lot of water? Can you eat before it?
I can't wait till Fri to find out when my ER is.
Thank you. Yes, it makes sense about not eating since they do ER under anesthesia.vicky77 wrote:They did not say anything in particular regarding water, I asked them and they say it is always good to drink plenty of water, about the food, you are not supposed to eat anything after midnight the night prior to ER, like any other surgery.
Hope it helps!!
Good luck tomorrow!!!
