Good luck Anne! My acu doc also says my womb/uterus are cold due to not enough blood flowing through my body. Please keep us informed on your progress. Stay positive and think about/visualize your follies growing - also try to keep your tummy nice and warm...like a mother hen taking care of her eggs. :D

Hello everyone

Post by Tina6 »

I am a newbie. I am glad I found this board. I love reading about other peoples stories.

This is my second ICSI. The first was -ve. I am 37 and my dh is 40. Embryo transfer is tomorrow. We had 11 eggs, 7 mature enough for fertilization, 4 successfully fertilized but one embryo has a bubble.

The best of luck to everyone!

Hi ladies x

Thank you all for the well wishes x

I had a great transfer, all went smoothly. I have 2 eggs inside growing and moaning about my choice of tv rubbish no doubt lol.
we couldn't make blastocyst stage because we lost a few eggs on the way and doc thought it best to get on with it. we did haold out an extra day to usual though and that improved our eggs x
1 was a 7A and the other was 6B, this is great for us as we have only ever had 4B before. Fingers crossed for 4th time lucky x
They also have a couple waiting for our eggs who are delighted with the 5 we have given them. wishing them baby dust too.

Hope everyone else had a good transfer and wishing the rest of you loads of PMA xxxxxxx

Hi Everyone

My ET went smoothly on Friday... had 2 embies transferred, Grade 2, one 4-cell and one 2-cell, so fingers crossed!!!

My test date is 01 July...may be tempted to test earlier if AF hasn't arrived before!

I planned to do 3 days bed rest but I haven't lasted very well....so bored and it's so hot. DP has been very good in helping out, especially with our 18 month old, but I am so used to running after her and taking her places...this is torture!! I suppose, as long as I don't over do it.

Good luck all the transferees - don't get too hot in this tropical weather if you're in Britain - I moan all year about the s**t weather and now I'm moaning because it's unbearable!

Sandra - how's your clinic change going? Did you settle for Care and when do you start again?

Thanks for remembering Cheryl. To be honest, I've been totally remiss .... It's been the fortnight from Hell ..

* I've been bogged down at work, and working away from the office

* Suffering from a recurring neck problem so have had to see the GP about that ... didn't feel I could do the IVF thing at the same time ...

* All sorts going on with stray / injured animals [have acquired a ferral cat which is currently in a cage in my lounge, having had a plate and pins put in it's leg (don't ask !]). Have finally caught the Homing Pigeon which has been lodging with us ... Sent another pigeon off to the rescue centre as had been mauled .. feeding another stray cat every day at work ... the peacock has finally disappeared after 11 months (hopefully found a woman, as it is mating season), but a deer and fox have now turned up ... and my Cecil (the squirrel) is damn hungry at the moment .. What next ?? polar bears ? siberian tigers ?? Just throw them at me, I'll cope somehow ...!

Wow - you sound just like me and my husband want to be - we always talk about how wonderful it would be to run a sanctuary type set up to care for injured / sick wildlife. We both get really upset seeing wildlife suffer and it's hard to find anywhere that will do anything. The problem with us though is we both haven't got a clue with what we're doing and we're incredibly clumsy! The most we've managed is a couple of concussed birds placed in a box for a few hours and then released. You have my complete respect to be fitting that in around work / treatment etc - incredible. I will nag you to pursue your clinic this week though because you sound like you're doing so much for others maybe you need to be thinking of yourself a little now. Good luck with it all - I've been thinking about you and wondering how it was all going,

Cheryl ... I promise I will go to the Drs at some point this week ... Need to fit it in when df is available, and I'm in town ..

Concussed birds ..? Birds go into shock so fast, and can so easily die without injury - so if you're managing to keep them safe them until they're ready to fly, you're doing a great job.

All my cats have been watching the Bill Oddie wildlife programme these past few weeks ... they love watching the birds, badgers, owls .. etc ... a good hour's entertainment !

I've had the ferral cat watching Animal Planet on Cable this afternoon. He couldn't believe his little eyes .. ! Not too sure what he thought about the hippos !
