There's so much going on, I can't keep up...

BecP..14! That's great...Good luck on Wednesday...I'm getting a little nervous. I usually just put things out of my mind until I HAVE to deal with them, but all this preparation, and then the looming 2WW...Not looking forward to that, but at least we'll be there together!! :)

jenn...I wish you the best of luck on that first report. Whatever the results, they will be positive. Take it easy and enjoy your slumber...

Jill...Woohoo...You are on your way girl! Take it easy and enjoy your weekend away...

Leap.of.Faith...This 2ww will be brutal, but all worth it...I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. BFP...BFP...BFP...That's my positive thoughts... :)

Rachael...I'm glad to hear you're doing better today...I kept thinking of you and saying prayers to bring you your one perfect precious baby. Hang on kiddo...

Nance...We're still on the same schedule...Good luck on your scan this weekend...We're in the final countdown...Yeah...

Cowgirl...Wow! Another BFP! Yeah...Good new, great news, best news! About the pg panties...They sure do...Thank goodness, since I'm not even on my 2WW and I'm busting out of my pants here...I'm so happy for you...

JenJ...Do you have another scan this weekend too..? Is your EC Monday? Sorry if you've already said, so much going on I'm loosing track here...How many follies are growing for you? Keep me posted...

Rachel...Good luck on your EC on Monday...I'm right behind you...2ww will be a killer, but we'll have a lot of company...Yeah! :)

Aunty...I'm thinking about you daily...You have so much to give, and it's only a matter of time before you have that dream come true...

Gina S...Hang in there for that 2ww...Staying busy does have its advantages...Keeps that 2ww from eating you...Skipping lunch isn't so good, but busy is...Keep us posted on any symptoms & developments...

Malinka...I'm torn on the test-or-not-to-test debate...I'm guess I'll just have to wait and see what the 2ww brings, and if my DH minds or not, too...I haven't even talked to him about what he wants to do...My doctor did say they REALLY encourage their patients not to test before the beta...Like that ever stopped me...Hang in there, and keep us posted on any "developments"... :)

Jeck...Do you get those babies back tomorrow? That's good to get them kiddos right back where they belong...Keep us posed on your transfer. Thinking of you tomorrow...

As for me...I just had my last scan. They found 19 follicles, with 11 being of good size, and the other 8 with a lot of potential over the next few days...We'll see...My uterine lining is 7.8 mm, which is right on target. The doctor said I really caught up, but was lagging behind a bit there...Let's hope the next few days help those others catch up too...I take my trigger shot on Monday morning at 1 AM!! Bad time, but have EC scheduled for Noon on Tuesday the 10th, so I'll take the trigger shot being at a bad time for having a comfortable time for EC. Sounds pretty textbook so far...Not sure if that's good or bad, but it is what it is...

If I've missed anyone, I'm really sorry...Thanks for understanding with sooo much going on, it's hard to keep up...

Take care ladies, and have a great weekend!! Next week has so much going on for us all, we'll need our rest and relaxation... :)

Malinka...Hang in there and think positive thoughts...I know I know...It starts to sound like blah blah blah...But it really is true...You've made it through so many other 2ww waits, which has lead you to where you are. Keep yourself busy, stay strong, and if you want to test, then test! But whatever you do decide, stay positive. Even if it's negative, there's no telling if it's really negative. I've read other boards (TCOYF-Not sure if you're familiar) where there were women that have tested on a normal cycle and got false negatives for literally weeks before they got their BFP...Hang in there, and just be honest with yourself and make sure you are prepared for the unknown...I'll be here with you in a week, so I am talking out my butt right now, and can't completely know how you feel until I'm there. But, I just hope after you get your BFP you don't abandon us. I'll need you there giving me this same pep talk...K? K! :) Just remember we're all here for you...Image One for all and all for one...Okay...That was corney, but you know I mean...

Charity, yip, the "one for all and all for one"saying is corney, but when i started this thread that was one of the first things i posted, myself Jeck and Tonia, were all on a thread July/August and had BFN's so that was my saying "the 3 muskateers",so altough corney its never been a truer saying,we're all here for each other and i think thats what keeps us all sane...

Jeck, good luck for tommorow,my birthday wish is for you to get pg,ive everything crossed for you honey...

Everyone who is having er or et this week, next week,im praying hard for each and everyone of you to get a BFP,we've had a brilliant start to the month,so bring it on..

Jeck, thanks for asking my down regging is going great,im trying not to think too far ahead of myself and taking a day at a time as this is such a long cycle for me..

I soooo hope everyone is well and having lots of PMA..

AS always my friends,take care..Love Nicola..xx

Hi everyone!

First let me say thank you to all of you for your responses to my last posts. I have been feeling so overwhelmed, nervous, anxious, scared, etc etc etc and your support really does help. Charity, thanks for posting the link to the IVF video. I haven't looked at it yet but I will-sounds interesting. I really appreciate you guys trying to ease my fears a little. To be honest, I am afraid of the unknown I think-I have never had any kind of surgery or procedure like this, never had an IV or anything, and it just feels overwhelming. I am not very good at handling anything medical-would you believe that until recently a simple blood test would make me sick with anxiety? Don't know how I have signed on for this or even how I have come so far with blood tests and injections, etc. I have answered so many questions today about my health and signed so many forms about possible risks from ER and anesthesia that it puts my mind in a very worrying and negative place. I am trying to stay positive and upbeat but really, I just want it over with. Right now it is the scariest thing. Plus they told me that my DH can't be there with me, which I was not expecting.

Anyway scan today showed 12 follicles, 2 more than Wed. They think they may find 1-2 more during ER. I am going on Sunday for ER, doing HCG trigger tonight. ET is set for Tuesday. Does this sound right to you guys? It seems like everyone else is doing 3 or 5 day transfers but my clinic does 2 day transfers. Anyone else? So as is ER is 10/8 and ET is 10/10.

Racheal-I am so sorry that you have been struggling and you (and your embie) are in my thoughts. I'm glad that you are feeling a bit better now. I bet that little embie is a fighter!!

Cowgirl-I am so excited for your BFP! I know you are waiting for the official positive so I won't congratulate you yet but it looks good!!! You must be so anxious for the official report!

Good luck to all-you guys are so great and I hope we all get BFPs-we deserve it!!

Nicola...I'm so sorry I forgot about you! How are you doing?? You were one of the first to welcome me, and here I neglected you...Not very good of me, but I know you'll understand...When do you move onto the stimming stage? Oh...And Happy Birthday, too!! How many years will you be, as my nephew would say? Not how old are you...He's a cutey patooty! :) Well, I wish this year brings you the best gift of all...A BFP!

Jeck...How are your embies fairing? If you've posted since the first day, I must have missed that one, so forgive if this is a repeat question...Thanks on the congrats with the follies...We'll see what happens...Only pray I have one good one...However it plays out will be what is meant to be, and I'll be blessed regardless. All these great friends all over the world...

Take care again all, and I'll shut up now...Sorry for being so chatty...Husband is burnt out on the subject, so no ears here to hear...If you know what I mean...Later Gators! :)

Jeck-I think dinner out with your dh sounds fab! I'm jealous-I would love to go to a nice restaurant with my dh tonight or tomorrow! Not in the cards for us but I will live vicariously through you! Crossing my fingers for you tomorrow . . . can't wait for you to have your embies back!

Charity-Your numbers are so good. Congrats on the follies! I know what you mean . . . my DH has completely had it with the IVF and infertility subject. I think he has started to completely tune out as soon as I open my mouth. And of course, I have a pretty one track mind about it right now! He is so ready to be done with the cycle-he will be really frustrated once we get into the 2ww and my obsession turns to possible pg symptoms! He thinks my obsession will stop with ET!!

JenJ
Sorry I missed your post earlier, you must have been on the same time as me!! I am sorry you are having so much anxiety!! Okay look at this way... What are the chances of anything going wrong?? Slim to none, so I know its hard to focus on the positive but lots of people have IV's and out patient procedures done and it all turns out fine!! Take it from me I have had lots of surgeries, I was sick a lot growing up and practically was raised in a hospital!! LOL!! They will give you good drugs to relax you and it will be fine I promise!!!! I am so proud of you, you have come a long way!!!! Good luck on your shot tonight!!! Will be thinking of you on Sunday!!!!

Charity
My clinic only calls the day after EC and gives you how many fertilized and then the day after that they call and just only tell you if you are doing a day 3 or day 5 transfer. I won't know until Sunday for sure how many that they freeze, if any!! Hope some anyway. There has to be some left out of 18!!! dang!!! Your post are alway enjoyable to read, your too funny!!!

Jeck,Charity,Thanks for the birthday wishes they mean a lot..Charity im 35 years(yikes)

My first thought on wakening at 6.30am was i wonder if me and Derek will have a baby of our own by my next bday,i feel my life has been taken over by ivf for the last 18months,and im trying so hard to stay positive, but my god its hard sometimes..

Charity,i got my protocol through from the clinic yesterday and it looks like my ER wil be the week of Nov 13th,so testing late Nov or very early Dec..

Jeck..i hope evrything goes well and your 2 little embies stay where they belong for the next 9 months..you're in my thoughts today..

Nance,JenJ,Jenn,Racheal,Cowgirl, and evryone else i hope you are all well,in know this whole ivf is a nightmare from start to finish, but we gotta see past that and think of the jou of holding our babies in our arms, when scans, blood tests, and injections will be a distant memory..

Take care ladies..Love as always..Nicola..xxx

Well I'm managing to resist the HPT's at the moment, I know I just couldn't cope with a negative. I did have some good news this morning, we had a letter to say that 6 of our embies have been frozen so I'm really pleased.

Jeck - wishing you all the best for tomorrow

Racheal - I'm glad you are feeling a little brighter, hang on in there

Nicola - happy birthday - enjoy your day, spoil yourself cos this time next year you won't have time to, you'll be too busy looking after your new born!!

Gina - I'm glad you are managing to remain calm. I took my niece to the Theatre last night to watch Annie, it was really good and DH is taking me to the piccies tonight to watch The Departed so at least I'm keeping busy

to everyone else hope you are having a good weekend and take care of yourselves

Nicola...I'll be 35 in 49 days, too! We're sneaking in under that <35 statistic you see all over the place when researching IVF...I'll take what I can get for positives in my corner. "And in this corner, we have Charity. She's a less than 35 year old, with male factor infertility. Looks like she may be a contender in this fight against the reigning heavy-weight BFP." I will officially be 3 years older than my husband (until his next birthday in June), so for the following 7 months I get to hear how much OoooLDER I am than him. He always jokes and says he's trading me in for a newer model. He's a car/truck nut, hence the comparison to a car lot...Clever isn't he?! Not!! :) I just continue to remind him that women live longer than men, so yes, in chronological years I might be older, but in physiological years, I've got him beat...Never works, but I'm sticking to that one...Even if it's only bringing ME solace. You take care and blow out every last one of those well-earned candles...Eat an extra large piece of cake with lots of frosting... :) Thinking of you today...Later gator...
