malinka- WOW you must be getting so excited/nervous! Everyone thinks I'm going to go early also, actually she has dropped about 1/4 of an inch...I hope to make it to my shower, scheduled 1/12.
Has anyone had their showers yet??? MIL took us to Babies R Us and gave us a glider for the room. Very nice and generous..I hope it matches the room....DH (color blind) picked the color. Oh well, they both liked it and it was sooooo comfortable.

Not much longer for working for you girl! That is really wonderful. I am happy for you on that note. I will be happy when my babies are here and I know you will be happy when lil bit (which is now a big bit!) is here!!! We are so close and time is flying with the holiday stuff as well. Unreal isnt it?
Noodle
I loved your comment about using your sexy body to persuade! My DH says that women use their "wiles" to get what they want and I stand there naked asking him for something! LOL I always say what are you talking about? I have no idea? LOL it is funny. It does work though. Men just cant handle us can they. However I know what you mean...I do not link sexy with how I look right now that is for sure! More like TANK!! I can relate with a tank.
Malinka
That is really exciting! That is sooo close. I am so excited for you. You will have to let us know how it goes!
I had another appt today. Blood levels were a little out of whack but they are seeing me so often that they said I could stay home. Good thing. I have a lot going on with the kids and family and Christmas!!! I want to stay at home for as long as possible-safely of course. Everything else is looking good. Just waiting.

Sophie and Riley Arrived Dec. 10th 2008!!!
Just a quick update. At my NST appt yesterday the baby wasn't moving around to satisfy the Dr. I was on the machine for 45 min. and she only moved once. Her heart rate was fine the entire time but she just wouldn't move. So I had to go to the hospital and check-in to have a BPP and be monitored closely. After 4 hours, they were happy with what they saw and let me go home. I have to do kick counts and call the Dr. if they are less than 10 in 2 hours. I'm so nervous and don't understand why the decrease in movement. Has anyone noticed that? She only weighs 5lbs. 9 oz so it's not like she's too big to move around. I asked my Dr. to go ahead and do the C-section but she said no. Currently, it's scheduled for Jan 4th. I just don't want them to wait too long and something happens. I'm 35 weeks now, she will be fine if born now.
I have an appt. on Monday, hopefully everything will be ok until then.
Mattie, so sorry you had to worry, I am having Nsts twice a week since week 32, sometimes my babies just fall a sleep and don't want to cooperate, they don't won't to move or give them needed accelaration.
How do you feel about your doctor? Do you trust her? I mean ask her tons of questions on Monday and see what she says. Maybe they want to wait one more week, till week 36 to perform a c section?
I cant remember who asked what questions so i iwll do a general answer. The cord blood is rater expensive, but my cousin is also pregnant so we did it together and they charged us cheaper. We used CBR. We decided to do it as both DH & I are Cf carriers and they are doing alot of research for it with stem cells, so we thought it was a good idea.
I too am doing NST and Biophysicals 2x a week as I have tested positive for APA in the beginning of pregnancy. Baby aspirin helped with that but now I am off of it and nervous. The baby is doing okay and I do the Kick counts every night just to make myself feel better.
I have 11 days left to meet my baby. They have scheduled my C-section for 10AM on December 20th.
Good luck to you all and Merry Christmas. I will let you know what we had when I get out of the Hospital.
Mattie
I have the same trouble and I have two in there! Sometimes they are sleeping really well and there is nothing I can do about it short of giving them an earthquake! I have had to have the BPP after 2 hours of being on the maching. It is horrible and uncomfortable to sit there. Anyhow I would not worry about that...She may be sleeping. Are you feeling regular movements throughout the day? I think a lot of times they get us worked up into a tizzy when it really isnt THAT important ya know? I know it is scary. I feel your pain there. Every time I have had that done they are fine....just snoozing. They have a right to do that! LOL Please keep in mind they just want you to know everything...be educated. Hang in there....
Lisa
Wow 10 days isnt long at all! I am so excited for you! I can't wait to hear what you had. Do you have any feelings one way or another? Do you have everything ready? Wow knowing that you are carriers for cf that is a great idea to be able to bank the cord blood! That was good thinking on your part. Are you all ready for Christmas considering you will be having your baby on 12/20???
I have a BPP today and an OB appointment at the clinic I hate. Only a few more visits! Woo Hoo! It is cold here this AM and we had a light snow last night so the roads look a little icy. Hope you guys have a good day...

I had my BPP yesterday and it went well. Scored 8 of 8, she is moving a lot more than before. You all were right, she's just sleeping and don't want to be bothered. We'll see what happens on Thursday at my NST. This the one I keep failing. The gave me gift bag for the 24hr urnine test. Has anyone done that? They want to make sure I'm not spilling too much protein. It doen't sound like a fun test. I will start collecting Sunday morning for 24-hr. then drop it at the lab on my way to my appt.
Lisa, I know you are estatic that the 20th is almost here. You should be going home on Christmas Eve. What a wonderful gift. Can't wait to hear what you had and see pictures.
Glad everyone else is doing well, we're all just in the waiting mode. Get some rest and I'll post later.
Lisa - I'm so happy for you and your big day coming up on the 20th! We wish you a wonderful and easy delivery. We can't wait to hear what you had and great updates!
I see we are all hanging in there with the countdown on! I have my biophysical profile and NST, exam and Labor Talk on Thursday. I HAD MY BABIES!!!!!!
Riley was 5lbs 5 oz
Sophie was 5lbs 8oz
I started having good contractions over the weekend and they decided to admit me on Monday. Anyhow I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia. The doctors all recommended that I deliver the babies to save my body. I agreed. Both babies are doing wonderful and I feel WAY better as well. They are so cute. I did have DH bring everything to the hospital but my card reader is not working so I will have to keep trying. I will update the blog as soon as I can. They are breathing on their own and have not been fed a bottle just yet because they are preemies. They are so darn adorable. Sophie is a little spitfire just like me and Riley is so calm and go with the flow. They are so wonderful~I can't wait to get photos up for you guys. Who woulda guessed???

I can't wait to see pics of those lil cuties!!!
Rikrees I keep checking in on lil Sara on the website and can't believe how amazing she is. I'm so glad that you checked in. Wishing you and your family all the best with getting her home asap.
Hey guys...
Thought that I would stop by and tell you that I updated the site with photos and info this am if you would like a look see. I try to get up there to see the babies bit it is so hard not to be able to drive. My doc says no driving for 2 weeks. I have no freedom! That part is the worst. Not to be able to go see my babies when I want to. DH tries but he still has to work and help me with the boys and the boys are not allowed in to the nursery. They can go into the bonding room for just a few minutes at a time so that makes it hard. Everyday seems a little better than the one before thank goodness. I am still sore but hope that just continues to improve!!!
Steph
That photo of the babies hugging is so cute! Thank you. Yeah you know me! LOL just have to get in there to see them NOW!!! LOL I am so happy to have them and things are going along well. I cant wait to bring them home where they belong! They are the best things that have ever happened to me...aside from my boys of course.
Christine
Thank you so much for your nice comments. I hope that you are hanging in there. Glad that things went well for the birthday....

Your baby is doing so well and i just love going to her site and looking to see what progress she has made. It is so wonderful! You must be really proud to compare those photos. How amazing! Thank you for sharing her journey with us. It has been amazing! Truly amazing. So glad that I was able to meet you on here and follow along. How awesome!!!!
Mattie
I have done a ton of the 24 hour urines. The thing that sucks is if you want to go out and about you have to keep your urine! That is horrible to carry around a pee jug. I always tried to keep home when doing them. Not fun but you get good info from it.
