jharris - you are strong! I think I have to POAS the day before BETA so I'm prepared...last time I put DH cell phone # down I couldn't even deal with taking the call...ok i'm a wuss!

neffi211 - 6 is great on day 4...keep the faith! Hey your RE promised she'd get you a BFP! that is soooo encouraging...

nurse called - no trigger tonight  I didn't think so from teh sizes I heard this a.m. Reducing my Gonal F to 37.5 and my E2 is 1797 so lets hope for tomorrow...my left ovary is dominant...I'm a lefty so maybe that has something to do with it but double the eggs on Left vs. my right side but a good count to work wiht overall - about 17 at the moment...

Baby dust to all!

IrishHope Wow, that's a lot of follicles. Hope you get to trigger in the next day or so.

My appt was okay...b/w isn't back yet so I'll know more later about any med changes..etc. My lining was 7.8 or so and she counted and measured just a few follicles. There was a 10, 9 and four 6's on one side and a 10, and several 7's or below on the other side....so again, not that great for a 5th day u/s...but maybe by Friday they'll pick up and I won't have to stim past my estimated ER date on the 2nd of June.

Trust me IrishHope, it is taking every ounce of restraint I have to NOT POAS!! I have 2 at home calling my name!! But I told the DH I wouldn't, so I am trying my best to stand by that decision. Sorry to hear you don't get to trigger tonight, but hopefully you will tomorrow! Be glad they only have you on 37.5 Gonal. I was taking 600IUs of Gonal the last several days of my stims! And my E2 was close to 4000! Best of luck to you!

Neffi: Glad you had such a wonderful time at the beach. And even better that your RE promised to get you a BFP!! That is pretty positive thinking from a RE! Keep us posted on your progress!

Thanks Indie...i'd say for Day 5 you're doing great but everyone is different and feels differently about where things should be...you are getting closer and closer to your BFP! Hang in there...

jharris - this cycle I feel so much better! last cycle (#1) my RE kind of had to "guess" at my Gonal dose and it was way too high and my ovaries killed from day 3 of stims all the way thru...today is day 8 and they feel fine ...thankfully. I'm hoping maybe last cycle i was too "stimmed" for a little embie to implant and things being "calmer" in there will do the trick...
4000...GULP! you are so close I hope the 4 days go fast!

JHarris - UUGGGGHHHH!!! 2WW is misery. I was doing pretty good until yesterday. DH and I agreed not POAS too, but when I left the house this morning I was all wrecked and went and bought two. I met up with him before I had time to do it and he could tell I was having a rough day. We starting talking about the ifs, ands and buts and he said whatever you do don't go POAS behind my back. :? . I told him I bought two and he made me hand them over. I know he is right, it will just add more drama and worry if it is negative but it is killing me. I don't feel much. A little crampy, which comes and goes, and some heartburn/nausea (though that might be my nerves) it is worrying me. This is going to me one long week! PMA, PMA, PMA.

IrishHope - congrats on the follies. That is a good number, they will all catch up.

LB/Neffie - How great you girls got to meet up this weekend! Must have been a trip. Good Luck tomorrow LB, I will be checking in to see how it went. So jealous your 2WW is almost over!

INDIE

I was just researching follies and I read that up to day 5 is pretty minimal, but after day 5 they start to grow at a rate of 2mm per day. WOW!

Hi All--

Jharris--You are so brave! In your place, I KNOW I would be sending DH on fools' errands in order to get him out of the house so I could POAS! I walk in the footsteps of SDTrying here. But you are making the right decision...an RE's beta is much more sensitive than an HPT and no sense inflating or dashing hopes with an iffy pee stick. Good luck!

IrishHope--Congrats on the 17 follies! And, while I know it's frustrating to have trigger delayed, imagine all of those jolly little eggs getting stonger and growing to the perfect size.

IndieBlue--Don't worry about a slow start. The difference between my 5 day and 7 day u/s was significant. At 5 days, I had less than 10 follies...by the time ER rolled around, I had developed 22. Keep the faith. I am sure your RE is tweaking your doses in order to make sure that you will have a bumper crop when the time comes!

Dakota--Congrats on the stims! You will be amazed how you are able to keep it all in your head. Just in case, I recommend writing every little instruction down. We keep a big dry-erase calendar in the kitchen and use it to write down all the dosages and times. You are on your way, girl. The stims go fast!

Rubylee--Another honest woman! My poor dh, he really is married to a sneak. I have been tempted to lay in HPT supplies already (1 day past transfer). No self control! When is your beta?

LB/Neffi--It must have been such a kick to meet each other live! Too bad we all live so far...otherwise we could plan a Cycle Buddies event. LB--I will be thinking of you tomorrow!

Okay, yesterday as I left the hospital after ET, the nurse handed me a guided relaxation CD. Seeing as I had nothing better to do this afternoon, I flopped on the floor and pressed play. At first, I couldn't stop giggling. Then, as I was "relaxing" and "finding my special place," my corpulent feline decided to position his face about two inches from my nose (I smelled the distinctly malodorous scent of Science Diet's Seafood Feast so I knew I had a visitor). After I shooed him away and refocused, it was surprisingly relaxing. I have read that guided imagery actually improves pregnancy rates.

Thanks to everyone for all of their kind wishes re: my ET. Have a great day, girls!

ForMaggie Thanks for the positive vibes :) She called and upped my GonalF to 300 from 225....OUCH! That cuts down on my stock...LOL But I'm going back in on Friday for another count...so I'm anxious to see what that brings me. Maybe I'll still make that June 2nd ER afterall!!

RubyLee: I know how you feel!! I even told my DH I was having a hard time not using the ones I have. But after talking to him, and discussing that if we get a positive, we will wonder if it's the trigger, and if it's negative, is it really negative or just too early. So we decided that it would probably cause extra stress we didn't need. But only a few more days and we will have a real answer!! I'm here for ya! You get your test a day before me!! I had a little heartburn this morning, too. I am so tired of analyzing symptoms!! :D

ForMaggie: It has been extremely hard to resist taking one. I have 2 at home and they call my name!! My DH has been surprised I haven't snuck behind his back to take it! I keep telling myself to be strong. Do not follow in the ways of SD!!

Dakota: If you don't have the dry erase calendar ForMaggie suggested, just put up any calendar on your fridge with your directions. That way when you go in and get the call to change them, you can change them and put them on the fridge. I had my Gonal in the fridge anyway, so it was easy to keep track of that way. Good luck, and congrats on starting stims tomorrow!

IrishHope: My cycle was all over the place. This was my 1st. They obviously started my dosage too low, then they were playing catch up the rest of the time. I don't know my E2 after trigger, but it was 3887 the day before that, but we only got 10 eggs, and only 6 were mature, so I have no idea why mine got that high! I hope these 4 days go quick, too! Glad your 2nd cycle is going smoother!

Hello, I haven't posted for a while and am trying to keep up with everyone as it is such a big thread now. I just wanted to say wow and congratulations to all those with BFP - enjoy being pregnant! For those who have not been successful, I am sending big hugs and prayers and it will be your turn soon I hope.

I start my Menopur injections tomorrow and am really excited but apprehensive about stepping on the rollercoaster. I have been suffering a bit with the Bureslin spray as had lots of headaches, restless nights and bouts of tears - still no pain, no gain as they say.

My thoughts are with you all.

Hi Girls

Well, not great news for today. My Beta was only 178, and it was supposed to be about 300, so I'm hoping the little emby was just taking Memorial Day off too and kicks back in today.
I have to go back in Thursday , so it'll be a tough couple of days. I will keep the pma, I will keep the pma!! :?
Anybody know anyone that this happened to & it was ok?

Rinnie:

It doubled! Isn't that all we need it to do? Why in the 300s? I'm confused.

Rinnie- Congrats on your BFP. Your number didn't double every two days but it did go up by at least 50-75% every two days. I have heard stories about people who do just fine with that increase. keep the PMA
Cocosmomma- the number should double every two days or at least that is an estimate that the REs use to calculate an ongoing pregnancy.
Sorry I have been MIA. I was in NC looking at homes. We might move in the fall.
2WWs-hope this week flies by! Only 3 more days Jharris!
Ruby- stay strong!
I have baseline U/S and bloodwork on Friday and start stims this weekend
Time will start to fly by for me until that dreaded 2 WW :)
Hope everybody else is doing well.
