Hi Girlies

Its FRIDAY!!!!! Have been checking in occasionally to keep up with the news but have missed you all with not actually posting so .......

DAY ONE OF NON-SMOKING AND ITS GOING OK......TONIGHT WILL BE THE TEST BUT I WILL NOT FAIL, I WILL NOT FAIL, I WILL NOT FAIL!!!!!!!!!

I have aboslutely nothing planned for the weekend so far...looks like I will be a BB addict again come Monday!!!!!!

Did a brave thing on Tuesday. Had 6 inches lopped off my hair and now have a short highlighted bob, I love it (thankfully). Perked me up too

With the friend thing I have decided to accept things for what they are and not to expect too much of people. Taken a small step back but am happier about it all now. I did talk to two of my closest friends (mothers) and one totally understood how I felt as much as she could and the other never said a word. I have chose to think she doesn't know WHAT to say to me rather than not caring two hoots. Anyway, as long as I have you lot to vent off at I don't need them for this.

Work - crap! Working like a D.O.G. Not opposed to hard work but encroaches on my lunch hour and not getting out on time like before so begrudging it a bit, and also the "merger" info has dried up so not sure what is going on there - there is talk of July. Probably get made redundant just before my treatment starts knowing my luck....

LOLA - How are you doing? Hope things have settled down for you and you can CHILL

GAIL - Hope you are ok and I am glad you had a good birthday. x I have a house rabbit! He is gorgeous. I have had him 6 years now and he is an old man . Not as loving or attentive as cats - more of a rottweiler as very territorial. Netherland Dwarf so never grown up and yes, he is my baby!

LIS - How are you? Hope feeling ok. Know it is difficult with all the shit you're having but I hope it gets sorted real soon. Let us know how you are. xxx

Julie good to see you back! Great work on the no ciggy's - keep it up. Glad you are sorting things out with your friends. I think you are right to take the view that your friend doesn't know what to say rather than not caring. A lot of people just don't know how to react unfortunately. You always think that even if you were not in in this position and you friend was that you would react differently and be supportive and understanding and know what to say but who knows .... sometimes I think my dh thinks I expect too much from some of my friends but I always think about how I would deal with a situation and the way some of my friends are reacting with all of this is definitely not the way I would act!! Are you watching BB? I saw some of the live stuff last nite - not atched enough yet though to get names etc. Hugs xxxxx

Lola hope you're taking time out from all that studying you've been doing? When is the next one??

I've had another rubbish-ish week. I went to have my bloods taken on Wednesday (for the 3rd time as they keep mucking them up) and almost ended up fainting. The nurse manged to puncture / collapse my vein as she was taking it, so when the needle came out it was very sore .......then the room started swimming. I was left with a large swelling on the inside of my arm with loads a blood collecting just under the skin, the size of a 2 penny piece. Now the surrounding 2 inches of skin has turned a nice shade of blue and yellow and my arm feels a bit like a dead weight at times. I came out of the surgery and burst out crying Dh was with me and was wondering what was going on. I didn't even know why I was crying. Ever get that? I think all the trauma of fighting for HSG, repeated bloods, unknown verdict on funding for tmt etc just got to me, not to mention the fact that I am stil a bit peeved that my friend has let me down over the 10k tomorrow and I will now have to run on my own.

I also fell out with 2 friends this week . dh thinks I am on the war path Both have new babies, 9 weeks old and 5 weeks old and for different reasons, I have felt they have both been very insensitive. I know they are both naturally wrapped up in their on worlds but as they both know dh and I's situation I really feel they should at least try to be more understanding about certain things. I have been good enough to put my pain aside to support them haven't been getting much back in return. Although its sorted now unfortunately I am going to have to create a bit of distance between myself and one of those friends in particular. I think its the only way otherwise I am going to go insane. I also think it could damage our relationship further if I don't . (so know where you are at Julie xx)

Well I'm off to have a thoroughly chilled out day. Keeping my strength for the 10k tomorrow and going to try repair myself after my sh***y week (sorry for being abit melodramatic - just tell me to be quiet!). Think I am going to chill with BB and some chick flicks!

Sorry for my absence, wasn’t really up to it and was away for work Wednesday and yesterday. Got back so tired that I went almost immediately to bed and slept almost 12 hours!

- Lucy – I’m really sorry for your news. Please give yourself all the time you need and don’t forget we’re here for you whenever you need us.

- Lis – You have really been dished out a horrible time lately! Just think that you’re getting all the grief now so that in a short while it’ll be ALL GOOD news!!!!! Good luck for tomorrow.

- Jen – Good to know that things are going ok. Hope that the little follies grow, and remember that one of the ladies on 1st trimester only had 2 follies and one embie and is now 12 weeks pregnant!!!!!

I’ve been feeling sick a lot lately, usually not a normal feeling of being nauseated but an overall feeling of not being well that is worst at night and before I eat. I have to eat approximately every 2 hours or I start to feel sick again. I also have to drink plenty of fluids. Guess I can’t really complain (some pregnant women go through so much) especially if all is fine with beanie. I really hope that Monday I can start to really relax and feel strong in the knowledge that I’m really pregnant and all is fine!

PSB that takes me back Nicki. I am sure they will bring you luck if you 2ww falls then. Just think you can tell your baby that the 1st concert you ever took them to was the PSB’s. I hope you are ok, we don’t see you on here much these days. I know you are busy at work and it sometimes is good to get a break from all things fertility related. We are all here for you when you are ready.

Julie you should be on Day 3 of no smoking, hope its going ok. I got my rabbit and he is also a netherland dwarf. They stay very small don’t they My cats keep looking at him and licking their lips! I have had rabbits before and they didn’t take any notice of them.

Jen my FUP is for the BFN we had this month, all they will do is just tell us when we can go ahead again, I think they will probably say August, but we will try and persuade them for an unmedicated FET before that. That’s great news that you have some more follies appearing, hope the scan on Monday goes well. Hope you have had a great weekend with Adam.

MLG I cant believe that you are now 10 weeks pregnant that time has flown by. You get to see your little beanie on screen tomorrow

Lis your storys never ending about these bloods, you poor thing. I am not surprised you burst into tears, I really hope that this is the final chapter in that story and they finally get the bloods all labelled up correctly and sorted out. It doesn’t give you much faith in them does it!! Hope the 10k run went well and the weather was better than it is where I am.

Lucy, hope you and DP are having some quality time together, I know its so hard.

Just to let you know it didn't work this time round. Got AF on Saturday (bless her!) and couldn't wait until monday to do a HPT so did it Saturday and as expected it was negative. Not feeling too bad, going to try again in the summer but think we will change clinics.

Very brave you are, I always say, just a trim please, and then I still think its loads shorter than I wanted....! Julie where do you work? Sounds very much like the company I work for.!

Nicki - Wow PSB's, I use to love them.... yep I think they'll definitely give you good luck on 2ww..!

Lisa - OMG can't believe the crap you are having with your bloods... I know it is very hard when friends move on with their lives, getting married, having children etc, we feel very resentful, well I know I do.! It is very when they don't understand what we are going through, it hurts so much to see them enjoying their lives with the one thing we want more than anything. If you feel a bit of distance will make you feel better then you do it. I really hope the run went ok today - the weather has been crap though hasn't it, bet you were soaked..?!

MLG - Hope you're feeling better after you nice long sleep. I slept for 12 hrs last night too, must of really needed it, didn't sleep very well night before..! Good luck for tomorrow with scan. Can't believe you are 10 weeks already..! Take Care

A big hello to anyone else I have missed

As for me - feeling a bit better now. Friday was hard, went into work and was brave all day, kept it all together, then a girl I work with has just had her baby son (only 2wks old) she brought him in, well I was brave and told her how gorgeous he was, then I made excuses and said I had to go. Got in my car and burst into tears. I am genuinely happy for her but felt sorry for myself, I just kept saying WHY to myself. It’s so unfair..! So Friday night I went to my sisters had a bottle of wine, or 3, ended up staying the night, watched BB most of night (how sad eh?)

Rest of weekend haven't done anything.. AF came yesterday and it is very bad, it’s really heavy and my stomach is killing, so I've just been curled up on sofa watching BB. Has anyone else had bad AF after a BFN??

I have decided to do another cycle in September or Oct, most probably go with Oct, and give my body 5 months off. I am now the last to cycle on the list.

I have just booked flights to go see my mum in France for a week, my sister and niece are coming with me. I can't wait, I really need to go and have this break, we fly on 2nd July.

As for me, 3 whole days and no smoking!!! Hard tho. Friday I went proper cold turkey. Crying all the time but have been ok(ish) since. went to pub last nite for an ultimate test and passed with flying colours. Just hope i keep on track and dont put too much weight on! BB7. Wow isnt it takin off quick! Lots of bed hoppin...Good already but Shabaz needs putting down!! and Nicki - well, need my mascara remover and cant drink tap water.......WIMP.
