Oh Lisa.....

As for here I had my appt the other day and Dr was in a REAL bad mood so didn't get too much outta him except that yes they will induce around 38 weeks since my lil bit is now looking like he is gonna be a big bit. Cervix has held up very well and is still at 2.45 darn it!!!!!!!! I gained 1 more pound putting me to a total of 21 thus far and lil man weighed in at 5 pounds 10 ounces. Not sure if I am going to go to a midwife for next appt or take my chances that my fav. dr is in a better mood.

Tanya hope you and those babies are doing well. I will go check for more pics on your blogspot later

Hope everyone else is doing well and hope to hear more good stories soon!

WOW...I get abused at work and cannot view the sight for a few days and everyone has their babies....LOL

Congrats-Lisa on your beautiful baby girl and Tanya for your 2 little angels....AMAZING ladies

MdTerry-getting ready for the 4th...at least a few of pioneers have set the pace and got us started with healthy and strong babies!

ChristineB- sounds like you have everything ready for the big day! I still have all the babies furniture in my living room- but I did start to wash.

Rikirees- I always check your blog to see how baby Sara is doing, but so nice to have you back on the board for a personal report!

My2LnT- you and I are only 1 day apart. My DR has said nothing of inducing or to be honest with you much of anything. Anybody who looks at me thinks I'm going to blow anyday now.

As for me I'm just plugging along, I've gained around 40lbs and I'm looking forward to my next appointment on Friday for DR to give us more info. We haven't had a scan since 25 weeks and we are getting nervous about the size of the baby. She moves so much I'm sure everything is OK I would just like a better idea of when she actually going to arrive!

So how many of you are up all night just staring at them..... I am going to buy that Angel monitor today. Will post soon. Had my 1 week checkup and the incision is great. I lost 25 lbs since I gave birth which is more than I gained.
She is absolutely beaustiful and worth every penny and tears cried. I could not be happier.

Love to all and Congratulations to all who gave birth this week.....

Love,
Lisa

Hi everyone,

My precious Kynnedi Elaine made her arrival on December 12 at 3:41 PM via c-section. She weighed 6lbs 2 oz 19 in long.

Congratulations Lisa and Mylinka on your arrivals also.

On the 12th I went to my Dr. appt. and they were concerned that my blood pressure spiked so high. They ran labs on me and saw that I had all pre-ecclampsia symptoms and decided it was time to deliver her.

We are all doing wonderful at home. I will post pictures by the weekend.

Mattie

CONGRATS TO ALL THE NEW BABIES and FAMILIES!

Shall we start a new message board on the "parents after treatment side"?

Malkina: when were your babies born? I hope you were able to take them home with you and you are recovering from your c section well. I think you mentioned once you were jewish so Mazal Tov!

MDTerry: glad they caught it in time to keep everyone healthy.

Lisa: While I don't have my munchkin home yet, when I am at the hospital, I stare at her for HOURS. I don't ever bring a book cuz she is so amazing nothing can keep my eyes off of her. I have a terrible cold now and having seen her for 5 days. It is TORTURE.

Mattie & Malinka - CONGRATS to both of you! What wonderful birth news! Many blessings to both of you.

Lisa - So glad you and your baby daughter are doing well. I have found it to be the most rewarding thing I could ever have done in my life. Best wishes to you!

Noodle - Good luck at your appointment Friday. Glad your baby is moving a lot. It's definitely a good sign at this stage. Keep us posted.

As for me - I had my 37 week checkup and things are going well. My OB did an internal exam and I'm dilated almost 2cm but our baby girl hasn't dropped at all so she thinks I'm fine for now. She figures I have been dilated like that for a little while and isn't worried at all. I've gained 24 lbs total. I see her again next Wed so we shall see what that brings. She did ok me to travel to my mom's next week - just for the day. She only lives 2 hours away but my OB said if I start to feel anything at all unusual - then to head back home just in case.

Wishing everyone Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays. Take Care!

Love,
Christine

Tanya - What wonderful pictures and news on your twins! I am so thrilled they are home with you now! Truly a Christmas blessing! I'm glad you are recovering well. I'm sure your boys are over the moon for the twins! Congratulations! We had our DD Meagan on Dec 7, 2005 and she was the best Christmas gift we could've hoped for.

As for me - I'm feeling as good as can be expected. I treated myself to a couple of nice new, fluffy and slightly expensive pillows for my bed. It's funny how little things can make a difference. I don't feel anything much different except being uncomfortable sleeping and lots of acid reflux. My OB had said she will do an ultrasound at 40 wks to see how big the baby is if I haven't gone into labor yet. She will let me go to 41 weeks then possibly schedule an induction. So I have 3 weeks at the most left until we meet our little angel. I have my next checkup Dec 26th so we will see what I learn then.

My poor mom is in the hospital after taking a several bad falls this past week. We are still planning on going to NH tomorrow to see her although she may be kept another couple of days. It's only a 4 hour total car ride to and from but it will probably be my last time going there until after the baby is born. So we will visit her in the hospital, visit some friends then head back home. We have to figure out some type of home care or assisted living for her since she is having such a hard time since losing my Dad in June. I've had my hands full with her and now I have to focus on the baby and my upcoming delivery. This is our first Christmas without my Dad and it is bringing out lots of emotions.

Wishing all of you lovely mommy's Happy Holidays! Looking forward to many more updates!

Love,
Christine
