Muggsey-So glad that you got everything with the HCG shot cleared up. It can be very confusing looking at the needles and knowing how much to take.

Kate21- That sounds like a great number of follies! They are experts and can change your medicine to give time for the smaller ones to grow if needed.

Baby Crazy - I hope your ET went well. Lots of sticky baby dust to you.

Jenolina - 11 is great. My DH also has super sperm but they did ICIS. I think it is fairly common. Good luck on the ET.

Val - I hope your U/S sounds a lot of strong eggies. I am also worried about a hurricane coming and messing up my ER. Since we are doing PGD they also have to be able to fly my cells out to be tested. Hopefully the weather will hold out for both of us. Fingers crossed.

Hoping- What wonderful news that your beta continues to rise. I'll be praying that it continues to rise and you are able to hear a heartbeat.

Biddy- My first IVF cycle I was tired and had sore boobs. The second I didn't feel anything. Both however ended in chemical pregnancies.

To all of those stimming - GROW GROW GROW

Hoping everyone in the 2WW has a fast two weeks.

As for me everything is pretty much the same for now. My headache is finally gone. My meds have stayed at the same level. I go in tomorrow for b/w and u/s. I am hoping to see a lot of follies tomorrow. I will also probably start my new medicine tomorrow. (Once the follies get to 14mm).

Hi Ladies,

The RE called this morning with the report: Of the 11 eggs, they took 7 for ICSI and 4 to fertilize naturally. Of the 7 ICSI, only 2 were mature. Neither of those eggs fertilized. Of the other 4, only 1 fertilized.

On the plus side, the one emby we have looks great. Transfer is going to tomorrow morning.

We are disappointed, but are trying to stay positive.

Jenolina~ I'm so very sorry that only one fertilized. Not the report you expected, I'm sure. Definitely not the one I hoping for you! But, You have to remain very positive that you do have one and it only takes one to get pregnant!! You will be in my thoughts during the coming days and sending you all the baby dust I can possibly find.

Amanda~ How many follies do you have so far? I'm glad that headache is gone...they can be so debilitating as I have experienced it too. Drinking tons of water really helps I think!!

Kollegeqtee~ Welcome to our thread!! I'm not really familiar on how a FET works...I've read a little about it. But in 3 weeks, you'll be PUPO too. Wishing you the best on this journey!

Hello everyone!!!

JHarris - I'm really sorry. My heart is with you. First time my ivf failed I thought I wont do it again but then after 2 years I'm doing it again. You're still young, just take it easy for a while, save some money and who knows maybe you'll even get pregnant naturally.

Jenolina - I'm sorry you got only 1 egg but maybe that 1 is all you need. Wish you lots of luck.

Valerie - lots of follies for you!!!

My transfer was very frustrating. First of all my RE had an emergency retrieval so my transfer was 1 hour late. My bladder was about to burst so I had to go to the washroom and it was almost empty at my transfer. But my RE is an expert, he still did it with no problems.

Another disappointment is that out of 6 fertilised eggs only 3 survived so I got no frosties . But at least 2 of them were excellent quality and 3rd one was good. They decided to transfer all 3 and they didnt do the assisted hatching as my embies were perfect quality. My RE asked me what am I going to do if I have triplets, I told him I'll give him one. That was a joke, of course. With my luck I'll be happy to get pregnant with one.

Today is my 2dpt5dt and I already got a pain like my AF is coming. When I sit down or lie down, I dont feel anything, but when I get up, it is pretty painful. Dont know what to think. Maybe it's still from the retrieval, hopefully it will go away. I'm feeling kind of down. If 3 blasts dont get me pregnant, there is really something wrong with me. All I can do is wait.

Morning Ladies.... I just got my results from my beta.. I am indeed pregnant!!! My first beta was 544...WOW!! I am amazed, let's pray that the 2nd one on Tuesday doubles.. I have been having sharp pains on the right side, I really hope everything is going right. Thanks ladies for all the love and support...

Well enough about me... How is everyone else going? Just continue to pray and stay strong, it will happen for each and every one of us. I am still shocked, I had very little doubt when they only retrieved 6 eggs. So, that just means there is hope and never give up!!!

Just a quick update.

I had my first u/s on day 7 of stims this morning. So far there are 13 follies between 12mm and 7mm. It the past two cycles I have responded a lot towards to end.

I also realized this morning that I don't have enough Lupron to finish the cycle. They are ordering me more. I hope I have enough for tomorrow and they said it would be ok if I take it last on Tues.

As for me, I went in for day 10 of stims check up. Things are looking good. I don't know my E2 level yet. I had 6 good size on the right from 15-18, and 3 good size on left from 15 - 19. The doc said ER will probably be Wed. or Thu. I am definitely feeling my ovaries now.

Congratulations to True_Believer that Beta sounds amazing!!! so happy to see another BFP here

Thanks to everyone who gave me a bit of support lately over my newly acquired 'poor responder' status, esp Val, JDC & Jenolina i dont need to tell you it means a lot - wow i know there would be highs and lows but the lows can really knock you down!!!

I am feeling much better now as i have had my meds increased (again). I am now on ganirelix and 8 vials of menopur (was on 1 to start with!!!) and i have an extra 2 follies (grand total 6!) although realistically they may not catch up with the others as they are still small and ET will be either Wed or Thurs, so i may still just be working with the original 4 and thats OK.

On a positive note i have an excellent lining (yay, finally my body co-operates ). It was so good my RE told the nurse to come take a look and pointed out the excellent tri-something pattern !!! Now all i need are some embies to put in there!!!

Turtles looks like we may be doing ER same time. I will find out tomorrow when i will trigger!!!

Baby-crazy 3 blasts is great !!!! Try not to feel down (i'm such a hypocrite as i get down a lot about this) but the way i see it is the hard work is over so now you should relax and enjoy being PUPO. Blasts are the holy grail girl!!!! ANd you have 3 of them !!!! You have such an excellent chance so enjoy and keep us updated - we are all rooting for you 100%!!!!

As for myself, well I still have the crown for the poorest responder.
I do have 4 follies but unfortunately, I have a lead one of 13/14mm and the others are right around 9/10mm. Not too bad but I really was hoping for better and I'm already on day 10 of stims. So that's gotten my PMA a little bit but perhaps that leader will be my future baby. We keep going...I respond a lot during the lasts days as well and my E2 went from 396 on Friday to 960 today. In 2 days, I think that's really good.
I'm going back on Wednesday for BW and US and I'm starting Ganirelix tomorrow morning. ER should be at the end of the week. My lining looked really good with its triple stripe and was 11mm.

Jenolina~ How is your embie growing...I hope he keeps dividing like crazy.

Helo ladies just thinking about you all continuing to stim or in the 2WW, you time is coming. It may seem far away and I truly understand.. Just take it one day at a time. This is truly a stressful, but exciting time of our lives.

As for me, I have been having some sharp pains and I am a little worried that I could have an ectopic pregnancy. I may be reading too far into it, which I hope that I am. I left my nurse a message this morning, so she should be getting back to me by the afternoon. I have my second beta tommorrow. Just wish me luck, my DH told me to relax get some rest and everything will be fine. I guess it's different for me since I have all these extra hormones, and of course I will think the worse will happen. It is truly in the Lord's hands, I will keep you all posted on my next beta and when an ultrasound is scheduled.

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Congrats TrueBeliever on you fantastic beta # and to Baby_crazy for your ET.

I have to get to the RE's for B/W and U/S so will do more personals later. Last U/S on Saturday I had 8 good follies size 10 to 13.5 mm. Then I had like 6 under 10 mm. Looks like I have a lot better start then previous cycles. I am so much less stressed now which is also good. My E2 level was 550 on Satruday, on Friday it was 320 so jumped more then 200 in 1 day. Can't wait to see what it is today. It seems like Christmas and I can't wait to open my presents except now it is b/w and u/s and can't wait to hear my levels and see my follies. Gosh I think I have lost it.

Like kollegeqtee, I'm doing my second FET during the first week of September. I'm coming straight off a failed FET prececed by a miscarriage. I guess my hopes aren't that high at this point, but you have to keep trying right?
