Hi every one!
I would like to join your group. Been following your thread for days now, I love all the belly pics! Interesting to see how different all the bumps look!
Well I’m 19 weeks now and a bit worried, no movement felt, with my first pregnancy I felt it at 16 weeks, now it is supposed to be sooner because its twins and second pregnancy! I just hope everything is fine! My next doctor’s appointment is next week! Don’t know if I can wait till then!
Anyway I hope all of you are doing fine, will try to post a pic of my belly asap!

Hi wanababy - Welcome to our group and CONGRATS on your twins! Hopefully all is well with your little ones. Maybe you have an anterior placenta? I know a couple of ladies that have that so it took them till 20 weeks or more before they could feel movement. I'll be hoping everything is just great and definitely let us know how the doctors appointment goes. (And until then show us that belly pic! )

Wanababy- Big welcome. And congrats on your twins. I was previously preggers with twins and didn't feel anything I could identify as "baby movement" until about 20-21 weeks. I don't think you have anything to worry about. I remember during ultrasounds at like 19-20 weeks how amazing it was to see all the moments of each and not feel a thing!

Freckles- Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Big hug.

Freckles......I'm praying for you and your precious baby. (((HUGS)))

Wanababy.....Welcome! I'm sure you'll feel their kicks before you know it!

AFM.....Nothin' new to report. I did get my first baby gift in the mail from my mom. She sent me a couple of onesies and sleepers. I sent her a picture of one of my u/s and she's getting excited. She's worried about me because she thinks I'm too little to carry twins. She worries too much!

I do have a question about stretch marks. I'm worried about getting them. I've been using cocoa butter and bio oil twice a day. Are you ladies using anything? Do you think it helps?

Have a great day girls!

Freckles: My OB warned me that the 2nd trimester testing has a lot of false positives. She told me not to worry or panic if my results did not look good.

Wanababy: You probably just have mellow babies :) Welcome!

Karin: I'm using a vitamin E/coco butter spray and it may or may not be helping. What I have been doing that I believe really helps is drinking plenty of water.

Hi Ladies - I've been absent for a while. Checked in today. Wanted to say good luck to Freckles with the prenatal tests. I am 9 weeks with twins this week and am just dying to get thru the blood tests and nuchal scan and any follow up tests too . . . WIll be thinking of you. It's such a hard time to have so much uncertainty! Best of luck to you.

Lovely to see how well everyone is progressing and love the pictures. I learn so much every time I read. They just can't put it all in the pregnancy books, I guess!

Deidra~ Welcome to the group. I will ditto the other Mamas...if the placenta is anterior, you won't feel the movements as early, and if it's your first pregnancy you won't feel them as early either. Try not to worry.

Karin~ Ah, the dreaded stretch marks question. Here is the real low down on that one. If your Mama got em, you will very likely get them, if not, then you may be just fine. You said you are little though, (me too) and I wasn't very stretchable at all, thus I have these beautiful pearly reminders that I am a Mommy. Lather up, and keep hydrated, and it will help, but there is nothing you can do to prevent them, not everyone will have them...you just never know.

Freckles~ Good luck tomorrow, will be thinking about you. I hope all is well.

AFM~ Exhausted today...stupid Santa Ana winds just about blew all of So Cali away last night. It was soooo loud, kinda like a freight train. Still going strong today too. I am pretty baffled: I keep losing weight, and my belly keeps getting larger! I'm eating a lot better now that I am not as queasy, but I'm concerned because I was considered under weight before we started. I got a hand held doppler, and find each of their heart beats right away, which I am so thankful for in between my appointments, and I look down and see a rather round tummy growing by the day. I kind of feel like a freak of nature! :) I feel little flutters, and baby A is always bouncing on my bladder, it's a really weird feeling. Nothing else really going on...it's nice for things to be uneventful after all that bleeding I had. Very nice indeed.

Hope you are all doing fantastic today...stay out of that nasty weather if your back east, and if you have to go out....strap a pillow to your butt...just in case! ;)

Karin - Vaseline Cocoa Butter lotion after every shower and Palmer's Tummy Butter (smells sooooo yummy!) before bed for me. Oh, and GALLONS of water a day.

Freckles - Praying for fantastic results for you and baby tomorrow. Hang in there, momma!

Wanababy - CONGRATS and WELCOME!!! Isn't it crazy how we get so used to frequent appts with the RE that a few weeks between OB appts seem like eternity?? I'm sure all is well with your little ones. Are you going to find out their genders?

Mellow - I can't imagine how wonderful uneventful is after all the initial eventfulness you went through. I even keep DH updated on your miracle babies since he witnessed first hand how upset I was for you. Glad to hear I'm not the only one experiencing bladder bouncers. I almost lost mine a couple nights ago when (I know now) Jaxon rolled across mine! I definitely don't want to be the preggo driver that peed herself on the bus!

Stephanie~ Isn't that the strangest sensation!? My hubby will ask me if I have felt them and no sooner does he ask little A decides to put on a show...right on my bladder. Crazy! Here is what we have to look forward too though...I got a call from my sister the other day, she is 10 weeks ahead of me, and said, um, is it possible to be kicked in the hoo ha? I just about peed myself laughing. She said no one believes me and says it's impossible, but you've been there before what do you think? Haha, Yes it is possible, and yes it will happen, kicks in the hoo ha, and butt will definitely happen! Oh the wonderful joys of pregnancy. :)

Oh the bladder dancing! The restroom at my job is a very long walk from the lab so when the bladder dance starts, I really gotta move quickly to make it to the potty. As she grows and gets stronger, I fear that the day will come when I don't make it and pee myself.

Hi Girls! We had our 20 U/S today and it was great!! Both boys are perfect and were wiggling away. Twin A is measuring 20 weeks and Twin B is 20 weeks 3 days. I am posting the pictures from today, it was tough getting any good ones as they wouldn't stay still, lol, boys! In the pictures of Twin A you can see B's hand(or foot) in his face, and in B's pics you can see A's butt in his face, it was so funny.
I hope everyone is staying safe on the east coast and in Illinois with all of the ice and snow :D

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Karen 1 - I’m am also using bio oil and happy event, it definitely prevents stretch marks!
With my first pregnancy I used the same, but only on my belly, nobody told me to put it on my bums, thighs and boobs and I didn’t think it was necessary. My belly did not get one single stretch mark but by the time I noticed the other stretch marks it was already too late! Another tip, I started itching few days before stretch mark appeared!

Gina - love the scans of your boys, looks like one of them is sucking his thumb. Soooo adorable!

Freckles was thinking of you today, Hope all went well

Oh and here is a picture of my bump at 18 weeks (2 weeks ago), it sure feels like it has double by now, I will ask DH to take another one soon! Did you guys also notice how much bigger the bump looks from the top(our view) than from the side (DH view, or in the mirror)?
