Just a real quickie for my fav Octobleronies....I am trying not to get paint on the keyboard

It's been drastically cold here and painting seems to be never-ending...
I can't keep up with all your posts, my friends..I am so sorry. I am a big let-down
I haven't switched the tv on since here and haven't read one word in a book... if that gives you an idea of my situation. I don't have time to do anything as time is running out. It's a mad rush until I return to Dubai on 22nd.

Steph..love... great news about your "eggs" (sunny side up :-)!) ...start weeing on the stick..the wait is more than I can take... I'm keeping my fingers crossed, luv  Now that would be the greatest of news

Lola - good luck with the books....I am so sorry to read your news...hope it all works out. Sending you lots of snow to remind you of Switzerland and yummy cheese and chocolate

Jen - thinking of you for your baseline scan.... and the stimming.... lots of PMA to you!

Walshy - how are you doing? Would let your cycle begin naturally.... no meds...we have enough of that junk later... super that you are having a holiday! That is a great idea.

MUCH love to you all.... keep your spirits up...you are all fabulous...

Lots of WAA,

Little R

Hey Dips from the Ips!

Well, well, well, .............. yu al' thought that my self control would not prevail and I would take a wee on tiny stick! What must you think of me? hmmm. Of course, my bugs, you were right on cowgirls! I did take a pee and surprise, surprise it was big fat negative! not really a shock, but still managed to depress the crap outta me. Had fun evening of nap, chocolate and Pride and Prejudice marathon to console me and feeling better today. Looking forward toward cycle. Move'em out little doggies! But another Of course......... That nasty B*tch has still not been brave 'nuf to show. She is messin with me. I have to get my cycle in before I start travelling in May, so, of course, that little sadistic evil is havin a laugh. I am on day 36, 10 days late! ....... Everyone start doin the arrival jitterbug! Sorry Lola, not quite sure She's a Lady is appropriate here......... need more tempo.

Lola- Have you been scanned? Find anything interesting in there? Rembaldi artifacts? heh? Hope that lining is the tops! How's the never-ending studying my little book worm? Am picturing you in library with hair in bun, little black glasses on edge of nose and very prim an proper suit with pencil skirt...... but then you glance down to one very sexy pair of F-me-pump-spikey-heels... I also see blue wig peeking out of handbag for library secret op emergencies...

Walshy- was at conference yesterday to discuss invasive plants. Turns out that alot of our problem plants in the US have come from yours truly... Good ol Australia.... thanks for that! he, he. Just thought you should know! where are you by the by? Check in. Pronto.

Jen- Have you been scanned???? update please and thank you. Did not see the oldies- pish posh that.

Little R- lovely to see your voice! There's nothin like a workin class girl heh? Luck that you will get all painted and primped in time for return. Should atleast have some chocolate and outta town sex? No? Awaiting your return.....

Debra- I AM SO SORRY!! I didn't realize that things didn't work out for you. HUGS to ya. That is absolute worst!! Tears. Drop in anytime, if it is something the Octo-Crazies are good for is a laugh. We are all nuts on Planet Toberlone.

Out like the Tide,
Steph

Steph I ADORE your vision of me studying with a bun you can shake loose for a "why, miss jones, you are beautiful without your glasses" effect. I will strive for that look the next time I'm in Library of Dashed Hope, should unsettle the pacemaker crew. I swear to god its like the opposite of Cocoon in there.
Knew you'd pee the pee! Sorry it was a :( . And man oh man donde esta your AF dude? You're right Shes A Laydeh aint going to do the job - thrash metal is avenue to traverse.
Jemla good luck for scan on the morrow - hope its Stimtastic!
Little R, Walshy, have a word wit yo bad selves and pay us some attention!
Well, scanner did not pick up Rembaldi artifacts nor the 2 keys I'm muling over to NYC
My lining is pretty damn bueno! Woo hoo! Indeed Doctor Posh was v impressed (by my uterus not my woefully shaved legs - is like a blind monkey took a razor to them) and I progress to next stage - double patches - how to fit them on my thighs? Eat more chocolate! Have a scan on Monday and if thats good ET wed, Thurs or Fri!!!! Not long now pumkins! Carb up embryo friends!
Just got back from visiting my best mate and new baby. It doen't get easier does it my lovely interweb friends? More upset for my dh, seeing her dh with the babe, och! I won't carry on down this particular conversational cul-de-sac, dull dull dull :D

Anyhoos, I'm off to watch some really bad TV.

love my little angels

Hello Amigos....

Finally some exciting news from Oz...I know you were thinking another holiday but they have some cheap deals going and I am a lady who likes good deals. Anyways that has been put on hold as I can't wait any longer to try the 2nd cycle so have appt with Dr for Monday (can you believe I only called them today and they fit me in on Monday, must be all the money I've spent with them). Anyhoo so that means I will start taking drugs to bring on AF then start cycling to get my uterus in the right thickness......:D :D :D
I just couldn't hold out any longer. I was busting at the sides. I mean it has already been over 5 years for my DH and me and I thought why am I waiting? I don't know if it has something to do with the 3 IVF books that just arrived from Amazon??? Now i just need to talk the Dr into letting me put 2 back in again. They are such a stickler to only put 1 in.

Lola - that is such fantastic news that you're nearly ready to be re-united with the embies....I hope the drugs kick in over the weekend.

Steph - Bummer about the pee on the stick.....I have been doing the Af jig for both of us so that I won't need to take the drugs. I somehow think mine will be a few weeks off and nasty at that seeing as though i havn't had them for 3 months. Yeah and sorry about the fauna nasties :)

Jen - How did the scan go today? I think all of you IVF's cost more than ours over here? Around 5K including drugs ops etc. We are self funding ours as well but we get alot back from our government which is good around $3.5K. Also at tax time if you spend over $1500 you get another 20% of that price back. How much does all yours cost?

Little R- I've posted now so it just leaves you....where are you???? Trying to get the paint from under your fingernails? I'm sorry I am not abondoning you to cycle but couldn't wait.

I'm in such a happy mood since we made the decision to go back now...think it is time for a few bevvies down at the pub after all it is Friday afternoon St Pats day and i don't really need an excuse. :D

It all seems to be going so fast  . PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET IT WORK. I can't stand the though of the 2ww again never mind if it's not the outcome we want :? .PPPPPMMMAAA

Away to apply the Emla for 8.30 needle attack

Hey you.... yes...have paint all over, hair, nails... argh and have worn through my blue jeans (I am not kidding.... I now paint with my _ss hanging out...great rip!) .... it's hard work and haven't had a minute to read let alone turn a tv on...

It all sounds as if you are getting on famously without me....so guess I will be the last Octobuddy after all...just like ol' times  So don't forget about me after you all get your BFP

Jen... well it all sounds perfect.... great, great news.... hope you get the amount of eggs you deserve after bearing those terrible shots... well done :D

Steph - love, sorry about the BFN.... I thought about you this morning... I woke up after a wonderful dream about getting pregnant naturally before my cycle in April/May....hmm...yes, I can hear you saying "yeah, dream on"! Well I am not holding my breath. Sorry you had yet another disappointment. Judging by my state of emotions my AF is going to rear her ugly head soon..which is fine because I must plod on and stop diluting my paint with all my tears....it was emotional wreck week

Lola - yes, I know, I know...I need a good clip around the ears....please be nice to me though...having a bit of a rough time with all the renovations... everytime I set foot in our house I find more and more damage.... I hope we will have money left for the IVF...budget time soon!
Glad to hear that you are impressing your Dr  I haven't switched a tv on for 7 days    a real shocker!!! Does that impress you Ms Jones?

Walshy--- great news and can completely understand...if you are ready DO not wait...good move.

Well that's all for now folks...should be back in sunnier climates in a few days----

MUCH love to you all... gotta dash...

Lots of PMA to my Octofriends

Hello Little R and her cheeky bum flash  taking a leaf out of walshys streaker book then?
Sorry youre having a bad week of hormone retribution and DIY depression. Would be fantastic if all 5 of us could go out on a Margarita (hommage to steph) fueled Xtreme bender to cheer you up, hilarious  I'm having a day of loathing all my kidded up pals and would relish getting Tequila wasted with my ivf buds :D
You'll be back in Dubai soon sweety and of course we won't desert you! I'll be here doing my third cycle when you start your next  Keep on keepin' on!

Walshy, I know, it's so difficult to wait!! Cycle on dude! So you'll be having ET in April?? We will be spring bfps!

Steph - I have had word from Vaughn! He has found your AF. Its in Barbados, rummed up and partying like an OC cast member. I have told him not to approach due to the inherent danger. I await your instruction.

As you may guess from my double post today, I am tethered to the desk and not in a sexy way  Could my eyes be any squarer? Could my life be any duller? Why doesn't Chris Noth come and arrest me for crimes against fashion as I sit here braless in my stained lounging trews? Manos Arriba Beatch! Hey ho. DH is planning to rescue me with slap up (alcohol free :( ) supper and the movies..Syriana..whats that like then?

OK my most lovely of lovelies, take it easy cheesys

Steph - My poor little Buddy. I'm wishing for your AF to arrive and will be off the legs soon if i do any more jitterbug moves. Keep smiling, i know its hard

Lola - Don't dare think of the third cycle, its goin to work this time. You need a zap of some PMA, but hey im all for the tequila night. Think thats a cue for a song, all together now-------

Little R - Desert you------------never, we will be here, bumps and all chearing you on. How much longer until you get home to Dubai?

Walshy - Great news that things are moving, BFP's here we come.

About the cost, i have to pay £2920. If i get good quality eggs then they can freeze them and the next cycle would be FET and it only costs £700.

There is 2 year waiting list for the NHS and i still have just over a year to go. I can have 3 cycles on the NHS free but only one at a time eg i have the first free cycle and if its positive and we get a baby then i lose my other 2 cycles on the NHS and will have to self-fund for any siblings we want. If the first cycle is negative then i have to go to the bottom of the waiting list and wait another 2 years for my second cycle. Thats why we have decided to self-fund until we wait on the NHS cycle to come around or i would have been about 37-38 when trying for the first time.
Hope you got that, its a bit confusing. Anyway this time i just need some good quality eggs to freeze, everything is crossed yet again, its getting uncomfortable.

Did you all read my ONLY TAKES ONE thread in the General Forum, take a peek.

Hope your all having a fab weekend

Howdy Part'nah's... How's my sh*t kickin, chap wearing, cowgirls- Yee-haah!

So my noodles, still waiting for that tempermental, two-faced witch to show her ugly mug. Evil B*tch! Why won't she come???? Drivin me mad! Absolute stark ravin mad! I am on day 40. I never have long cycles, they are always too short. The nurse and I have been playing phone tag all morning so I have no idea what the doc will say. I tested again yesterday- I know, I know... nothin like a little chinese water torture in a pee stick. Negative OFCOURSE! I made DH look at it as I was sick of seeing the negatives. When he came out I said- surprise me and tell me it's positive..... he said sorry can't do it. Urgh the insanity! 'Nough bout me... I suck.

Walshy- you crazy bean! So glad that you have decided to break out a can of whoop *ss and join the fun. What drugs do you speak of that brings the nasty here? How long does that take? We shall prevail! Lucks to ya with appt on Monday. Here's to us!

Lola Love Bug- that is nutter that your ET is here! Thursday is the day that you will be reunited with the bunnies. I am currently in full lotus with arms in prayer position, eyes closed and chanting Om. Sending killa luck and positive energy force straight to my crazy girl. I tried to get Demetrio in lotus but his legs got stuck and he had to be rushed to the hospital for uncrossing emergency. Tragically, I think he was still trying to breath thru his anus when the ambulance arrived. No fear, he will recoop after a very long rubdown... any volunteers?

Jen- so it will be you and me powering up for massive egg production! My doc is also aiming for a butt load. I am hoping when he is done I will be able to populate a small island full of crazies. Keep up the Evil B*tch dancin' please, still no luck. Sing it with me... do a little dance, make a little move, get down tonight....

Little R- Put down the paintbrush and step away from the madness! Come back to a leisurely life of vegetable-like-state producing tv and reading. I can't wait for you to see Grey's Anantomy! It keeps getting better and better and steamier and sexier! Yum-Yum. Hope you get everything finished with the house....

Well, I will let you know if the doc says anything remotely interesting....

Beauty Pageant Wave and Golf Clap Goodbyes,
Steph

Tear in my beer for I'm Crying for me Dears.....

Well, I just got off the phone with docs office. Apparently, my period being this late throws EVERYTHING outta wack. My doc and the lab has scheduled time off coming up, so I may not be able to start my cycle until after that now.. But the kicker is that I won't be able to complete a cycle before May and toward the end of May I start traveling about 3 days a week for my job until the beginning on August. So, what do I do now? Wait until September to cycle? My endo is already back to being painful, how bad will it be by then? I am very stressed now!!! Why can't ANYTHING work out the way it is supposed to?????? Why the one time my period is late, does it have to have this much impact on my life??? Why, why, why??? Rant over.. now the tears. boo-hoo's and sobs... okey-dokes my smokes.. tears over. And these are the days of our lives.

By the by my ladies... I did my good deed for the day. My friend that may have endo and is overreacting and automatically assuming she will never have children sent me an e-mail announcing her engagement... I e-mailed back and congratulated her and for the first time told her my experience with the surgeries and gave her my advice. She e-mailed back and was very appreciative.... I didn't even yell and tell her she is being dramatic and knock it off cause your getting on my nerves!!!!..... I can be a nice person... he, he, he.

Well bubbies? Any advice?

Shootin the moon,
Steph
