Hi Ladies! Can I join...I am on my 2ww and I test on the 12th! This is my first IVF cycle. I was diagnosed with endo ( with fibroids and cysts) in Sept 06 and had laproscopic sx. Not luck getting pregnant on our own though! I went into the hospital via ER after my edd retrieval b/c of an allergic reaction to my progest. injections...that really sucked...but still had my ET on 2/26. So now I just wait...

Hi everyone! Just wanted to check in with you all and let you know I am still here and thinking about you all.

So much has happened with you all! I am currently in Melbourne for work and got a bit sad today when I read all your posts and got to thinking how the journey is over for me for a while. Seems like ages since I got the BFN. All I want is to be preggers and I'm sitting here in another state working my guts out trying to learn a god damn understudy role (for a musical) - in just 2 weeks! - and I'm away from my husband and watchin time tick by and being no closer to my dream. I'm also ovulating today but as I said DH is back in Sydney..He still clings to hope that we will somehow fall naturally. There's a method to his madness

It's good to see Aunty back and to add to the 'egg theory', my SIL only got the one embie, transferred on day 2 (4 cell) and got her little boy on her 2nd IVF attempt, so hang in there all of you who are feeling a bit fragile.

Went back to my specialist last week and will do our FET early April. Won't change docs for our FETs. He seems to hold great hope that the 2 x 4 cells we have frozen will do us proud and if not he says out of 6 attempts, we should get success. He's too bloody confident. A lot of what he says makes sense tho. He believes blastocyst is a great option if you get loads of good embies but if we only get 2 or 3 then they should be put back asap. He also won't let me do multiples. Heck, I'll go with it til the 2 frosties are done and review for the next fresh cycle...

Good luck everyone. Don't know why but I am feeling a bit down and coming on here to write to you ladies makes me connect to what's important to me right now. Work sucks. Better get back to learning my songs..la la la

PS - My best girlfriend (who sent me a pic of herself 7 months pg on my beta test day - doh) had her baby yesterday - 10 weeks early. All doing well. It was a girl. Baby shower in 2 weeks, that I'm organizing. Go figure!!

dex - sorry to hear you're feeling down. i still think that the waiting is the worst out of all this. and its even worse when your dh isnt around (especially when its the right time of the month)...thinking of you!!

reach - thanks!! sorry to hear the patches are making you feel sick. my stimms made me feel sick the whole time i was on them (exactly like sea sickness) so i know how you're feeling!! it will all be worth it in the end though. how long do you have to take them??

wannababy - oh, you're so sweet hunny!! your post nearly made me cry knowing i nearly made you cry!! how are you doing??? the best of luck with your second beta tomorrow!!! hope its doubling or tripling!!! let us know how you get on as soon as you are back!!

Carolyn - Hope you are feeling better and a little more positive. A huge hig is on its way to you, hang in there, you know where we are if you want a rant or chat.

Dexter - Glad to hear from you again. Try to keep your chin up. I know its hard to stay positive but when you hear all the girls telling their miracle stories it gives us all hope. All that singing should be making you happy, not sad

Nerms - Good luck with the stimming. Can't believe you had to inject yourself straight away---you are one brave girls.

Reach - Hope that sickness goes soon, just pretend you are on a boat sailing towards the Caribbean

Angie - We spent months looking for our house and thought we would never get out of our flat. We even missed out on a few houses we liked as we were out bid but it was worth the wait as we are now settled into our lovely new house of 6 months and love it. As the saying goes - What is for you, won't go passed you

Steph - How did the scan go, hope all the follies are blossoming.

Shantala - You still all excited with your news, hope your 5 embies are growing well.

Wanna - Hope your beta test has gone well?

Nothing new with me, still doing the injections and not feeling anything down below---please let these follies be growing?????

Hey ladies, just wanted to give an update from my scan this morning. I'm happy to report I have 17 lovely follies!! I'm excited because at least I know I'm on the right track…I'm waiting to hear about my estrogen levels and based on that they will tell me when to come in for my next scan.

Shantala-Why has ET been delayed? Did I miss something? I hope you 5 lil ones are doing well and anxiously awaiting their return home to their mom!

Jen-Thanks for getting the list started. That really helps! Hope your follies are growing!! First scan Friday right??

Dex- So good to hear from you but sorry that you are feeling a bit down. I hope that you can be cycling again soon and I hope your doctor is right that the FET will be a success!

Nerms- Congrats on starting the Stimms!!! I can't believe you had to do the needle stick right there without warning. I'm impressed!! I still have to close my eyes and have DH do it for me!

AEJ- Sorry to hear you are feeling sick but at least that tells you that the meds are working right?? I loved the story of your friend btw. Those are always uplifting to read. Miracles happen every day!!

no, you didnt miss anything. the reason they delayed my ET was because we had more than 3. if you have 3 or less they do 2 day transfers but if its more than 3 then they do a 3 day transfer as they can afford to wait the extra day and choose the best ones. yey!

Just came on to see your news and I am so sorry to hear your embies didn't make it as far as you hoped. But remember our miracle Lauralou and her fabulous story. And Jackie, too. Both had terrible embie reports and both ended in miracle bfps! There is every chance that yours will too. Only 6 days to hang in there. A huge hug for you and your DH. Have faith your body will do the right thing for you.

I'm also sorry to hear you news. I will pray that your follies pick up and you get a good haul of eggs. I had 10 follies on my last scan but when they went in there was over 20 and they got 13 ripe eggs. You should pop onto the Aussie thread, there's a lot of newbies that are cycling right now as well and we've just had our first BFP!

Lots of PMA to all you others that are struggling at the moment, keep hope strong that this will be your time.
