NY your lining sounds wonderful too. Dr T did not stop my E2V. I have another dose tomorrow and even though our ET is Friday my calendar has it on there for that day as well..

When Francis calls today with report I will ask her about it.

I will post my report as soon as I get it. I cannot wait to hear yours

Hi ladies, it has been a week or two since I have posted, I have been keeping an eye on everyone though.

Ajdec – congratulations on hearing the heartbeat and having your first ultrasound, that must have been so exciting.

Sloan – congratulations!!!! That is the best news and I am sure you and your DH are just over the moon about the news.

Melissa – I am so sorry that you didnt get your positive – I dont know what you are going thru as this is my first IVF, but just know that we are all here thinking about you and praying for you. :(

Well I start my Lupron shots on Friday and I am scared out of my mind, what if I freak and cant give myself the shot, what if I put it in and pull it right back out, what if I screw up the amount of medication I am suppose to take. Then (sorry TMI) but my breasts have been hurting me the last couple of days. I dont know if it is the birth control pills causing it or what because they normally are only a little sore when I ovulate, but they have been hurting since last Friday.

Karen, sorry you're having a tough time. I can relate, except that I know you've been through the IVF several times now. We too are in debt from the years of expensive meds and IUI's, surgery, etc. I feel your pain there. I don't know how far we are willing to go to make this happen. I often think I'd keep going no matter what the price, but may not be realistic. Hope you can get your PMA back and trust that you had some good results this time with the ER and ET. Stay strong!

Babyhope, congrats on getting AF. Wow, your ER will happen soon. I guess everyone's timelines are different. Just as with Karen, I can sympathize with the credit card bills and debt. My DH is currently looking for a new job and I keep telling him to try and find one with infertility coverage. :D

JDC, I haven't POAS yet, although have been tempted to do one this week. I guess I will wait it out. Thanks for the encouragement. Good luck on the stims.

MuchHope, congrats on all the eggs! That's quite a good number. Hopefully your decision to transfer 2 or 3 will come easy. Will wait for the next update.

Adjec, that's wonderful you had your first u/s with heartbeat. They are still saying just 1 not 2 right? I thought I read that your beta was rather high so just curious since I have my b/w Thursday.

Kke, I think 11 follies sounds great. I had 9 but not all had eggs and even less fertilized. I think your's is sounding good and still growing more.

karen - I hope you are feeling more confident this morning. The wierd thing is I know how you feel and I'm not even in the 2WW yet. I'm still worried about my little embies developing and what grade they will be and whether we are doing the transfer tomorrow or thursday. I think if this wait is indicative of the 2WW I'm going to go crazy! javascript:emoticon(':)')
Smile

babyhope - Congrats - you are on your way now!

muchhope - We are having the same dilemna - 2 or 3 back in. I'm not sure what my lining is. But, my RE said he will suggest either 2 or 3 for a 3dt but only 2 for a 5dt. This is because at 5d there is a better chance of implantation. So, I guess if we do the transfer tomorrow we will have to decide. My cousin did 3 on her first IVF and had a little girl but also did 3 on her 2nd IVF and got twins. So, it's a crap shoot really.

ajdec - great to hear things moving along so well! Thanks for keeping us posted!

kke - I'm not 100% sure but the b/w helps them determine your hormone levels and helps them figure out how to adjust your stims if necessary.

- If it makes you feel any better, I messed up my first shot too. I didn't think it was in so I pulled it out and then got freaked and put it right back in. Of course, then I freaked out that I did something wrong and I called the on-call nurse and they said as long as the needle didn't touch anything or anyone else it was fine. Phew. But I didn't have a bad bruise at the first site for a few days...

As for me, I just got back from my 3rd PIO shot. Hoping and praying that my 7 embies are developing nicely. I'm not sure I'll hear anything today. It might not be until tomorrow morning... I'm going to vote first thing in the morning and hope there is not a crazy long line like they are saying (we don't have early voting here or I definitely would have done that already!). My transfer time is 9:15 tomorrow if it's a go...
me 38: no problems

HI ladies:

Well I got my fert report.

They got 25 not 23. 24 mature and 20 fertilized. We are so excited, I cannot wait until Wednesday to see how they are doing before they biopsy them for PGD. They will call and let me know what time ET is on Friday.. I think we are going to wait until Friday to decide how many once the PGD report comes back and see the % of fragmentation, how many 0% but we will have to wait and see.

So my doctor's office just called, and I can't start stim meds yet- not for another few days, b/c my E2 levels are too high. They are upping my Lupron for the next few days, then we'll start stim meds on thursday, as long as the E2 levels have come down.

I am about to go into a depression about this - what does this mean?? Do E2 levels really come down with more Lupron ?? How come they are not down low enough right now? What does this mean for if I will be able to even do IVF or not ??

Stressing.

Much Hope - I am so glad that this cycle is looking good for you. Can I ask why they are doing PGD since you have donor egg? Is there possibly something in DH sperm that is causing issues? You don't have to answer if it is too personal. I just hadn't heard of anyone doing PGD on donor eggs. Your outlook is so much better with this cycle then last. Congrats and keep us posted. I am so excited for you and your little embies.

gina - Sounds like you have lots of good follies growing. I can see why you are in pain. Do you feel like you have a basketball in your tummy? Congrats on all your good follies. Can wait to see how many mature ones you have after ER. Good luck on ER tomorrow.

robin - Good Luck with ET tomorrow. Then you are in the dreaded 2ww. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

ajdec - That is so cool you got to see your little beans heartbeat. I was also wondering if there might be 2 in there seeing that your beta was so high. I guess the little bean just snuggled in tight early.

Sloan - When is your next beta?

Wonderance - Only a few more days. How you holding up?

Chris, you are so good about keeping up with everyone. I'm hanging in there but really getting anxious about Thursday. I have surfed the net on every possible sign for pregnancy and all the things to do and not do. I think I'm making myself more crazy, not to mention that I'm at work and probably shouldn't be spending so much time doing this but can't help it! I know you can relate. I may have asked before, but any words of advice?
