Just came on to see your news and I am so sorry to hear your embies didn't make it as far as you hoped. But remember our miracle Lauralou and her fabulous story. And Jackie, too. Both had terrible embie reports and both ended in miracle bfps! There is every chance that yours will too. Only 6 days to hang in there. A huge hug for you and your DH. Have faith your body will do the right thing for you.

I'm also sorry to hear you news. I will pray that your follies pick up and you get a good haul of eggs. I had 10 follies on my last scan but when they went in there was over 20 and they got 13 ripe eggs. You should pop onto the Aussie thread, there's a lot of newbies that are cycling right now as well and we've just had our first BFP!

Lots of PMA to all you others that are struggling at the moment, keep hope strong that this will be your time.

Hi Ladies,

Just popping in to say a quick hello to everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. I will come back in later to do personals. I haven’t really done much work since I got a BFP. Time to get back on the ball. Need my job. lol

Well Dr. just called. I can't stop smiling. My beta is now 3000!! He said he was in shock! He says, that's pretty impressive. lol Then he says, I should start picking out multiple names! He then asked if I wanted to come in sooner because he could probably see something on the ultrasound now but probably won’t be able to see a heartbeat until next week. I decided to just keep my appointment for next Friday. I am so happy. My levels went from 167 to 3000 in almost a week! Thanks for all the well wishes and positive thoughts ladies! You guys are the best!

Hey...just out of curiosity, what kind of embryos did they put back in the first and second times? You and I are similar in our diagnosis and I am just curious? Any reasons why it didn't work the first time? Thanks!!!

hey ladies

thank you all for thinking of me today. well, we had 2 8 cell embies put back in...woohooo!!! we had one 6 cell that we could have frozen but its not really enough for a FET so they said they would suggest doing another fresh cycle anyway so we decided not to freeze. the other 2 werent good enough to freeze. but hey, ive got 2 little ones back and thats all that matters at the moment!! ive really surprised myself as i'm really calm (or calmer than i thought)...just hope i can keep that up these next 2 weeks...anyway, test is on the 22nd march.

will try and do more personals tomorrow....i'm shattered and will be off to bed fairly shortly.

wanna - congrats, wow, thats fantastic numbers...how many did you have transferred?? OMG, so excited to hear how many you have in there.

carolyn - how you doing hunny?? thinking of you!!

Me - Well the stimming is going just fine, didn't even feel the injections tonight. I am quite looking forward to my scan, don't know why as i can't really feel anything down below and am concerned about the number of follies down there. On my last cycle the numbers were starting to decline so i am praying hard, but hey nothing i can do but wait.
Am on a sleep over at work tomorrow but will try and update you about scan before i go, if not then will log on Saturday evening after work.

Jen779—Hi there! To answer your question…I was (or am) diagnosed with Endo, fibroids and cysts. Had three Laparoscopies and one myomectomty (sp??). Not the one where they remove your breast but the one where they cut the bikini area to remove a fibroid…OUCH! But anyway, the first cycle I was on the verge of hyper stimulation. My Estrogen level was really high. So high that the RE made me stop stimming for one day (although the eggs weren’t the size he wanted them to be). But he was more worried about OHSS. So I skipped one day of stims and then next day did the trigger. Ironically my Estrogen leveled off and didn’t go any higher. He was surprised about that. Because he said usually when it goes that high it continues to increase. At retrieval we had 8 eggs. Only 4 were mature. Four fertilized. I think because I missed a day of stimming that they didn’t get to the size they were suppose to. On the day of transfer we had only two that were worth putting back. They were both blastocyts but one was a grade C and the other a grade A. I was also on crinone last cycle. AF came about 7 days after ET. RE made me come in and take pregnancy test anyway but…I already knew the results. This cycle I was on the same type of stims and same dosage. But trigger was different. I am taking prometrium suppositories this time instead of the crinone. Also, this cycle I did acupuncture. I went once on the day or ER and then twice on the day of ET. Not sure if it made a difference or not. Also, this time my Estrogen level didn’t spike up like it did last time. Which was weird because I was on the same dosage of stims. On the day of ER we have 10 eggs. 8 were mature. 7 fertilized. We had three blastocycts grade D. We were torn between putting back two or three. We decided 2 would be best. Now we’re waiting to see if we are having twins or not. Also, I did a couple of other things differently this time. Didn’t stress during the 2ww. Didn’t take my used needles back to the doctor..yet. lol Didn’t take a pregnancy test. Tried to relax more during the 2ww. Not sure if all this really made a difference but hey…whatever works.

Dex—Sorry you are feeling so down sweetie. Keep your head up and stay positive. I know that’s easier said than done. Things will work out. I’m glad to hear that you are surrounded by positive people (Dr & DH). If Dr is confidant that’s a good thing. Maybe he knows something that we don’t. Good Luck to you and feel better soon! BTW…you are a trooper for organizing a baby shower. Not sure if I could pull that one off.

I sang that through my entire 2ww. I think they liked the song. Ha…I still sing it to them. 14 days until pregnancy test huh? Are you going to submit to the evil HPT?!?! Oh yeah…we transferred 2.

wanna - thanks hun!!! i'm singing, singing and singing.... as for evil HPT....well, my clinic give you a test that you have to take in 14 days and then you have to call them with the result. so an evil HPT it is for me anyway.... however, i could give in to my own cheap HPT a day or 2 before!! hhmmmm.... no, i think i'm gonna try and wait the full 14 days....how are you doing????

Shantala--BTW, I love your name. Ran it past DH last night as a potential name if we have a girl. But anyway, wait until the 14th day. I am now superstitious…which I probably shouldn't be. lol But I took a HPT before my official test date with last cycle and it was negative. Didn't take one this time and got a BFP. It could also have something to do with the grade of the eggs though. lol That's probably what it was but...I'm taking all factors into consideration.
