Kia: I got a really sore belly from the shots also! I didnt get one of the handheld massager things and that really helped when I used it right after the shots. Soooo glad to hear AF arrived!

Pep: Congrats on all the follies! What great news!

As for me I am really frustrated. Im going to copy my story from the other thread:

So I just got a bill in the mail for $6200 from the clinic due now. So lil recap. Because the clinic made a major mistake during last cycle we met with the Dr and he said he would do whatever he did at a reduced/no charge and would talk with the other members of the team and see if he couldnt get the cost "greatly reduced" how the hell is that greatly reduced? It is not even half! Plus they sent us a bill for overcharges on the last IVF cycle! For the second EC! Oh Yeah I should have to pay for the 2nd EC since you f**k up the first one and had to do it again!!!!!!!Plus we get the bill now? Why didnt we get this freakin 2 months ago!!!

I called the financial officer and she is going to go talked to the dr. We may have to cancel the cycle. There is no way we could come up with $6200 plus the cost of meds by the 19th.
Anyways, I know that I should be thankful that they are giving us anything but I am just not. The emotional toll on me and my dh from the mess up on the last cycle is worth them giving us another cycle free!! I know that you are all paying for this and I am sure you are like shut up you got a discount but I am just shocked and in tears.....sigh

I still havent heard from the clinic. I am soo upset....

Sonya..i'm sooo sorry to read about your news..i just read after i had posted! That really sucks..i sure hope that you can talk to them and reason with them...the whole thing sounds a bit unfair, esp as it feels like they have led you up the garden path and then let you down when you're almost well into your cylce. I hope things work out..try not to stress because it won't acheive anything...keep calm and try and reason with the doc! Sorry again!

For me I am going back to the clinic tomorrow to check again my lining if it improve, I am still taken the medicine such as (Estradiol Patch,& Progesterone) Progesterone I started on last Friday.

I don’t think my lining will improve much on one week because the lining was not right where wanted it to be yet so if I’m luck I will be joining you 2WW club..

The March month will be fabulous Month to all of us :lol: :lol: :lol:

You asked what they would do if only I want to know the sex... well, I don't know but I'd imagine if I demand to know they will tell me. And DH can of course make his own decision but it's hard to imagine a situation where I would know and he wouldn't. He, of course, thinks that can be done, but I don't know how I could keep a secret like that... But we'll cross that bridge if we get there!

Sonya, I am so sorry about the mess with your clinic. That must make you crazy! They should really try and make up their past mistakes to you - and since they cannot take away the stress and heartache caused, the least they could do is take care of this cycle, esp. as one of the doctors has already made promises to that effect. I truly hope they will see the light.... I'm sending you a big hug and hoping for the best!

Congrats for starting your stims, Nerms! How are you feeling?

Oh Nicky... I'm glad you seem to be taking your hormonal state in stride - at least after getting upset Thank god for DH, huh?!

As for me, I did indeed meet my OB's PA today (thank you guys for remembering!) and all seems to be going just fine. I'll have to go back for some bloodtests tmrw but all was well according to the exam+sono. DH got to see the baby and that little heart beating for the first time!! He was over the moon and so was I - at least one day that I can breath normally. Tomorrow I'll probably return to my normal state of utter terror and various fears but today I'm happy My next appointment will be in three weeks with my OB.

I am doing a FET too, I have a question, how does it work with the thawing?, for example, I have 4 frosties, but I want to transfer 2, do they thaw only 2 ?, what happens if one doesn't survive, they have to go an thaw another one?, I am a bit confused about that......

And a big sorry as well, with all the posts and me not able to get on here I might have missed you asking about where I live. Hubby and I moved to Walsgrave, Coventry 9 and half years ago from 2 different parts of Birmingham. I was brought up in West Bromwich, and he was born and bread in Tividale, Oldbury. And I'm glad you like my pic, it's nice of you to say .


ANNA -How you coping with 3 ? I'm doing 2 a day at the moment, and then when stims start that'll be a 3rd , hope they aren't making you too sore.

BRIDGET -How are you feeling today, not in too much discomfort I hope.

DENICE - Nice to have a plan isn't it? Lets hope this is the one for you guys .

HOLLY - Welcome back, glad you had a nice break.

JACKIE - Sorry to hear about the cyst, but if they let you carry on, the with the stims it'll just feed the little bugger. It's as frustrating as hell I know, but it might not be a comfort at the moment, but getting rif of it now, for a better start is a good thing. It'll be he end of the month before you know it, and just keep busy to speed the time up. I had 2 injectable cycles put off at scans showing I'd got cycsts and we waited 3 months before we decided to go for one of them, and a year for the next only to find out on those occations I had a cycst. Chin up, you can do it *hugs*.

JILL - Hi there, you getting anxious or excited about your DR'ing. I don't know if it's made any difference to me as yet, but today's been 3 days since doing mine as well. Good luck with it, now long till our base scan .

KANDICE - First of all Belated at that, but what a wonderful way to spend it. I'm really glad everythign went well for you, and that's an amazing amount of eggies aaahhh and nice that you have them in there. I hope everything goes well for your hubby's recovery :hug:, I must say he's extremely brave, cause he got me cringing like anything. I'm sure you're both in good hands and will look after each other just nicely. To answer your question, we don't want to know till the birth, and I'd want hubby to be the first to tell me the sex of the baby so he see's before me, and get to hold the baby first before I put him or her to my so we have skin to skin contact before feeding.

KAT - Hope everything is ok for you. It's amazing how different parts of a company can have a different method to paying for IVF, and in turn countries are totally diff from each other. It's amazing that you get a refund on what's spent. They don't do it like in the US, and here in the UK it's different still. Here, each clinic, hospital, region is different. Some pay for the first treatment nd meds if you fall into a certain criteria for your first. Others here say you have to pay for the meds, but they will pay for the OP, others have to pay for the OP and get the meds free, and all depending on if you don't qualify will say that you have to pay for your first IVF. For me, I have our first one funded by our hospital and the meds, and I may for the prescription of getting them filled and that's probably an 8th of the price of the meds. I hope well all went well with for ER and good luck for Friday, if I don't get to visit again .

KATRINA & LUCY - How's everything going for you and your cycle at the moment?

MANDEEQ - I hope it all goes well for you now you're in your 2ww. .

NICKI - So sorry you've had a bad time and feeling a lil delicate. I certainly remember and the last time I was like that was the last time I had a trigger shot. Just go with it hun, and let it out , at least you have a good cover story hehe, very cleaver come back. Here's hoping the come week is better for you . Good thinking of drinking water with the sniffing, I'm so glad I'd opted to inject now, but good on you hun.

NIMBLE - Safe journey and hope you get through customs ok , I'm sure you'll be fine.

RAE - How you doing, thanks with the well wishes, I've done 6 successful injections so far, and as it's more meds to inject for down regging than when I used to do injectables, I find it's great to numb the area first with ice, it's the best ever lol. Having to do it in the ladies at work though is another story altogether , such little space.

SHA - Hi, hope you'd been having fun catching up with the family, hope you're doing ok.

SHANTALA - Fantastic news that you had 5 magic little embries, you got me worried there for a sec reading back on the posts. Wishing you all the best for tomorrow hun , I'm really excited for you.
