Thanks ladies. No more cramping or bleeding since that one episode last night. Going back to staying off work and taking it easy until I feel like the threat of M/C is lower. I really appreciate all your kind thoughts and prayers.

I am not pregnant anymore, I lost my little angel last week sometime. Today doc did sonography but could not find any sac and my uterus had also shrunk in size.
Sonu: I am so sorry hun. I cannot imagine what that feels like. Praying for comfort for you and dh.

On homebirths... I also admire women who could care less about the "experience" and get epidurals - there is strength in both decisions. I delivered my two lil brothers, so that is why I feel confident about a home delivery.

Nic: Sorry you had that scare... I hope the bleeding stays away. It is very hard to hear a hb b4 6 weeks, so try to stay positive knowing you saw a sac.

Sonu: Again jsut want to say how sorry I am. How are you doing? How is dh?

Wow, Mia....did I say something wrong? That one line about women who 'could care less' kind of hit a wrong note with me. Maybe it was meant in a different way? Hmm, really don't know how to take that.

I have to chip in here a little about epidurals. No-one can prepare you for this unimaginable amount of pain you have during labor that will take you by surprse with your first labor. Through my years of experience as a L&D nurse I'd say more than 90% of women who come in and plan on going naturally end up with an epidural. I definitely admire the women that go naturally, it seems very rare these days though. We see definite advantages of epidurals all the time, too. Not that I think they are the best thing for everyone, but when you are in that much pain it is difficult to relax your pelvis and that has an effect on how fast your cervix dilates. I have seen countless times a first time Mom laboring and being stuck at 3-4 cms then they get an epidural and *poof* they're completely dilated and ready to push just a short time later......because they're able to relax and let dilatation take place. Also, a lot of times, I encourage my girls to let the epidural wear off just a little before they start pushing so they can feel more but without all the pain.....works out pretty well for them. So there's a lot to say for going natural, but there's also many benefits of epidurals. I guess some women are worried about the risks involved. I have only ever seen a couple of spinal headaches...nothing more, the risks are very low.
Everyone is entitled to experience birth the way they desire and if you go into it with every intention of going ntaurally then end up with an epidural, your nurse/midwife/doctor will not be surprised or look upon that decision negatively.

Well got af today--2 days late. I am slightly disappointed that the tcm didn't work, but not really overly surprised. Just hoping and wishing it would work. And of course, not knowing which side I ovulated on the last time doesn't help--so I knew at most I would have a 50% it would work. I will continue to try tcm for this period and next (June), but if it doesn't work, then I think I will stop. Af has been messed up since my last ivf cycle in Feb. The ivf never really affected af for so long after a cycle--this is my 3rd af.

Not much is going on. Home alone this week-end, but have lots to do....

Nicaliw- I am so glad that you saw the heartbeat. I am sure you are really relieved. I am going to predict from the rate of the heartbeat that it is a girl :D Who knows, I know you will be excited about either a boy or a girl. I am just so happy that you have gotten past the "scary" time. When will your dr. do the next ultrasound?

kbat- I am so sorry about af showing her ugly face. We will continue to keep you in our prayers. God is so awesome and he has a plan for each and every one of us. Sometimes we just have to be patient.

Well, I am about 2 weeks away from AF starting which means I will start the estrace. I feel pretty blind going into this cycle. When I called the clinic on Monday they just said to call when AF starts, and they will call in the meds. Then we will discuss exactly when we will do the FET.
Does anyone know exactly what the estrace does?
I am nervous about this not working. However, I have been praying to God that it be his will whichever way it goes. it is so much easier to pray it than to really believe it though. I need to work on actually having the faith to go with the words.

I hope everyone else is doing well. it has been really quiet on here lately.
