marymeg- A big congrats to you! That is a nice strong number and I am sure you will get good news on thursday as well.

helen- try to hang in there, I know the 2ww is tortorous. You are not on our list...I will add you, when is your beta again?

babies- I am still sitting here staring at the phone...ugh. I want to call so bad, but I don't want to annoy them either. I will call before noon, since that is when they go to lunch, so maybe like 11:30. They must have results by now and it makes me nervous when they don't call, like it is bad news and they are trying to figure out what to say to me. I am glad you got your beta moved up a day, one less day of torture!

sunnygirl- you need to get your pma back...hang in there and remember you are PUPO! I am sending lots of dust your way!

miyaya- I had a d&c to remove a polyp. I don't remember recovery being that bad, actually ER was worse for me. With the d&c I just had nausea from the anesthesia, but I was fine in a day, very limited pain killers.

ok ladies, for now, I will go stare at the phone some more  I will update when I find out any news.

Michelle: I would call them now. I can't believe they are making u wait this long. Maybe the results are not in yet. But go ahead and call them so that u can put u're mind at ease. I know the results will be good. So hang in there.

Michele - Poor thing, staring at the phone. CALL PEOPLE CALL!!! I can't wait to hear.

marymegan - congrats, you're PREGNANT!!! That is a wonderful beta number!!!

Liana - I can't wait to hear your result tomorrow. I didn't POAS until the day after my beta, and I only did it then because my 1st number was low.

gi - People say stupid things. They cannot understand what it's like to be us because they have not been in our shoes. (((hugs)))

Babies - I know this is torture. I kept telling myself, "One day at a time. I can only do one day." It will get here. Try and stay busy if you can, and keep taking deep breaths.

Helen - It felt like a massive party was going on in my uterus for a few days after my ET, so yes, it is totally normal!

AFM - Still having light brown spotting!!! Grrrr. I keep repeating the mantra, "This is NORMAL, this is NORMAL!!!" I'm getting better, but UGH!

babies- that didn't take much convincing, i called and the receptionist told me that results came in very late last night and RE just walked in and hasn't looked at them yet. They said once they look at them, they will call, but i don't believe them. If the e2 was low, the coordinator or sonographer would have called and told me to start estrace, they don't need RE for that. So my guess is that e2 is still high and they need RE to tell them what to say to me.

Michelle: Hang in there. At my clinic, the nurse will not call (even if it is good news) until the RE has reviewed the results and given the go ahead so keep saying this is the case for u. Really hoping for the best. Can't these people move any faster! Jeez!

Dogzrule: thanks for that! brown spotting is very normal. my RE use to tell me that all the time. As long as it does not get bright red.

Hi Ladies,

Michele: I can't believe you still haven't heard. Hopefully they are just too bust to check the results. Keeping my fingers crossed for you for a low e2!!!!

MeganMary: I'm so happy for you! Congratulations and have a safe happy pregnancy!!!

Dogzrule: Yes, it is normal, so keep chanting that mantra cause you really are preggers hon!

AFM: Yesterday i had all these twinges and cramps in my abdomen and sort of a fluttery feeling in my tunny from time to time. Today nada. Don't know if that means something or if I was making up all the little signs yesterday.

When did you guys start to feel anything? I'm 7dp3dt

Julie - I felt tons of activity too the first few days, then nothing. As many different stories as I've read on here, I've learned everyone is SO different and reacts in different ways.

Michele - I agree with what Babies said. My nurse would NEVER call with results, no matter what. It was ALWAYS the doctor.

I forgot to write to Sunnygirl!!!!

Yes, I'm going completely mad over here waiting. I think I feel some twinges etc, then i think I'm making it all up! You and I need to get our PMA on. My co-worker, anytime I tell her I'm not feeling too positive reminds me of the "rules of attraction". Keep talking to your little guys, tell them how much you appreciate them choosing you as their mom.
Let me know if you get too crazy waiting!!!!

julie nurse- today is the first day that i am feeling kinda weird. almost like AF cramping ( but really slightly...i usually have terrible cramps). it's like a poking feeling. okay, so now i am offically going bananas! i am probably just wanting something to happen. i am also in the process of clearing out a guestroom to make into a (dare i say baby room?) or office. i stopped because i thought i might be jinxing myself. Good Grief! what are we going to do for the next week julie? WHAT???????

CT_Michele- what's the verdict? call them until they can't ignore you! By the way, i wanted to tell you that i am feeling better....why you may ask? because i finally went to your ellamichele link and saw all of those beautiful pics of your baby. WOW! you are so lucky!!!!!!

I've been wanting to update everyone but I have been so crampy.

ER should be this Thursday, Yahoo!

I now have 25 eggs. I feel so blessed that I decided to be a split donor because there are more than enough. 13 of the eggs are size 16 and 8 are in the 12's, the rest a just a lil bit behind. I will get another update later.

I feel fine but just very full in the tummy. I did have a little bit of a rapid heart beat for a couple seconds but when I called they said not to worry.

Shots have been so easy, I just can't believe it.

I just hope the rest goes this smoothly.

sunnygirl - I did the same thing, we painted the walls in the study a mint green and laid down dark hardwood with crown molding. We did put the office furniture back but if I get pregnant all we have to do is pick furniture out. It felt real good to do it.

dozrule - Please try to not worry, every friend I had that was pregnant had brownspotting (and I have had a lot of pregnant friends, damn it!). JK

MaryMegan - Congrats!

Heleng - Wow, the 2WW... that is so exciting.

Sending babydust.............

Hi guys,

my 'beta' is on 17th August - although i dont get a test at the clinic - they just said i should do a hpt two weeks from et and call them with the results! i only figured out what a beta was on the message board! Is it more of an american thing to have the beta test or is it just my clinic that doesnt do it?

Michele - if i were you i would call them just once more and just explain how not hearing is making you panic - try for the sympathy vote before kicking arse!!!

take care

Thank you for all your kind words and support ladies. I am still staring at the phone and getting more mad by the minute. I am carrying around my house phone and cell phone. They know I am waiting to hear from them. I do want to call again, but I am going to wait...I don't want to make them mad. If I don't hear before they close, I will definitely call again. I am just trying to stay occupied, I figure the outcome is not going to change either way and I really have a bad feeling. Even if the e2 is down, how long do you need to be on estrace for before an FET? I was supposed to start that on friday, so I hope 3 days wouldn't make the difference.

This is crazy...you would think I was waiting for a beta phone call or something way important like that. I can't believe this is all for the "first hurdle," just to even get started. I just want to know when this is all going to really happen so I can try to stop revolving my life around it!

helen- I think american clinics tend to do beta tests a lot more than overseas. Thanks for your encouraging words, and I think I already tried the sympathy route, now it's almost time to kick some you know what!

cressica- wow thats a lot of eggs! And I think it is wonderful that you are willing to split them and share with someone else in need. Do you know who those eggs go to? Good luck at ER.

sunny- how sweet of you to say about Ella. I know how blessed I am, and I thank my lucky stars everyday. I am glad you enjoyed the pictures.

and now back to waiting... at least dh is out of work at 2, so maybe I will not be thinking about it too much once he is home (yeah right!)

CT_Michele - Hoping your RE has called with great news! Waiting is torture! When you update the list, my beta is 8/13.

cressicaw@hotmail.com - Wowsers! It sounds like you're like me and on your way to being what I called a "follicle factory" (I had 25 eggs retrieved). Best of luck.

annisabug (My Twin) - How was your transfer? I looked at the clock at exactly 9:30 this AM and said a prayer for you. How's your OHSS? Only 9 days until our BETAS!!!!

Dogz - stay positive or you will worry yourself to death! You are pregnant!!!

Beth - There is a plan for you and your family. I'm sorry that you didn't get your BFP this time.

Amanda - Sounds like you have alot to look forward to coming up. Enjoy the wine and sushi while you can!

Path Finder and Babies - wishing you lots of patience!

marymeganb - congrats on your BFP!

AFM I had two good blasts put in this AM. I'm officially on my 2ww. The transfer was pretty uncomfortable for me. I hadn't expected that. Maybe i overdrank. I'm at home now and couch potatoing it. I'm extremely constipated and bloated and its super uncomfortable, but they said its very common with the progesterone.

My 19 fertilized eggs (out of my 25 retrieved) are down to 10: 7 at blast and 3 further behind. The rest didn't progress. They'll call me tomorrow and let me know what they could freeze.
