hey ladies

thank you all for thinking of me today. well, we had 2 8 cell embies put back in...woohooo!!! we had one 6 cell that we could have frozen but its not really enough for a FET so they said they would suggest doing another fresh cycle anyway so we decided not to freeze. the other 2 werent good enough to freeze. but hey, ive got 2 little ones back and thats all that matters at the moment!! ive really surprised myself as i'm really calm (or calmer than i thought)...just hope i can keep that up these next 2 weeks...anyway, test is on the 22nd march.

will try and do more personals tomorrow....i'm shattered and will be off to bed fairly shortly.

kandice - how did it go??? been thinking of you!!

Nic - I'm doing great thanks, got rid of the flue, forced the bugger to leave by taking garlic capsuals as they boost the immune system and good for infection, 1000mg of Vitamin C and some throught spray for the sore thought. Glad your meds are here, it's it crazy how much there is? I'm glad you're doing well with the sniffing, and getting used to the taste.

Thought I'd let you know, that you've still got my dates wrong up on the group list. Here's a copy.

So it's Buserelin injections twice daily from today. AF should come around CD 30 - March 14. Baseline scan is on CD6 - March 19th to check down reg responce and if all is ok then, CD7 - March 20th start Menopur FSH/LH injections. Follice tracking scan 8 days later CD14 - March 27th, CD17 - March 30, Follicle tracking to see if eggs are ready for collection. Possible ER on CD20 - April 2nd, and Possible ET around CD22 or 23 - April 4th or 5th .

Shantala, this really sounds great - 2 healthy 8-cell embies! I was informed today my eggs weren't very good ( I first got a rebuke for having called 1 hour too late, but I had soooo much work to do and one meeting was chasing the other), I guess gnarled would be the right word for describing. But dh was doing great, so 3 embies out of 4 made it and they'll check tomorrow morning, if all 3 should be transferred (depening on the quality) or just 2. OMG, this is in 8 hours!
Hey, could anybody tell, if I should skip my workday tomorrow and if bed regime is recommended for the week-end? I once read here about 3-day rest, but I don't remember anymore, after which procedure it was meant.
Following the subsidy topic, I begin to understand our laws are so IVF-people friendly because there are only 1.4 million people living in Estonia and the birth rate is negative, increasing though.

I just wanted to pop and let you know I had lining scan today, the lining still are same 4.8mm since last week nothing improve.

I am real confuse and very upset

Brief my history

I was trying for four years not ability to become pregnant. After long investigation they told us every things they are fine we don’t have any problem, unexplained fertilities.

After long discussions with doctors to our situation than they referred IVF unit, for Nhs after 1yerar waiting list. I started treatment September 2005 they put me very low drug because I was 27 years old. and everything’s was really good. The day of the egg collocation was October 2005 they botanies 19 eggs, which then went on to produce 14 embryos. These embryos were frozen at this stage because the endometrial remained extremely thin at any 2.3mm. They cancelled ET transferred on 2005.

They give me appointment to see Dr and discuss after long discussion he section to do Hysteroscopy and he put me waiting list after 6 months waiting list they did hysteroscopy and they found Intrauterine adhesions tissue this time they could not removed because the tissue rigid and was difficult to removed. Then again they put me another waiting list to do anther hysteroscopy plus Laparoscopy to remove these adhesions tissue performed two injections of Zoladex, the second waiting list it take again 5 months. I did Hysteroscopy + Laparoscopy October last years the operation wanted well and I they told me everything is clear now.

Now they want to do FET Natural cycle just to build up my lining but my lining will no improving even they increase the medicines all most 3 months.

When I wanted this morning they check the lining nothing improve, they decided to do another examination called Endometrial biopsy is a procedure in which a tissue sample is obtained from the endometrial (the inside lining of the uterus) and then observed under a microscope. They cancelled my FET cycle, they said to wait the result and it takes 5, 6 week.

This waiting it is frustrating / stressful and makes me very upset. I can believe it I have been waiting since 2005 to have my babies back in me.

Sorry to Vent (my problem) just feel let down again.

I have not read all the post to night but everybody I am wishing well I will catch up.

Marcia Yippee our base scans are coming soon and then away we go! I am excited but also nervous. I am not nervous about the procedures or the shots, just the end result!

Well I am definitely on Lupron according to my body and the side effects. It makes me so tired that I actually fell asleep at my desk the other day. One minute I was typing and the next I was leaned back in my chair snoring with my phone ringing! I can honestly say that was a first. I am hoping that part of it is this nasty cold I have and it will get better. I sure don't remember it being this bad last time! I have my first acupuncture appointment tomorrow and am really excited to see what it is like.

Sorry I haven't posted for a while and thanks to everyone who is keeping 'THE LIST' going - it's such a beast it has a life of its own!!

jstrandlund - sounds like you need a few more rest breaks; your post made me laugh though! All the best for your base scans and shots... you'll soon be a dab hand at it. I can remember being very reluctant to do it, but DH would have died if I'd asked him to so I figured I just had to get on with it. I have a close friend who is diabetic and seeing her stabbing herself to test blood sugars and inject put it into perspective too.

mandeeq - just wanted to offer some moral support and say how sorry I was to hear all your problems with lining. Hoping these docs can hurry up and help you out.

Best wishes to everyone else... won't make a huge post but just want you to know that I'm reading all your posts and sending out lots of PMA, whatever stages you're at.

Well, we're not going to be doing a FET this month after all. I have been waiting impatiently, very impatiently in fact for AF so that I could start the whole process, but after a week of waiting beyond when I thought I was due, found out I am pregnant naturally. This came as quite the most fantastic shock I've ever had and it still feels highly unreal. Anyway, hoping like mad that this one sticks - had a couple of m/c's before so trying not to get my hopes up too high until our first scan in 2 weeks time. So now I'm cheating big time by staying on this thread, but I really want to hear how everyone gets on,

Mandeeq, I am so sorry about your bad news once again. All that waiting is just unfair. Hopefully the biopsy will shed some light on the situation and your docs will find a way to make the FET happen. But until then, just remember we're here if you need to vent and unburden your heart and wishing all the best for you and a quick resolution. A big hug!!

Shantala, congrats on your two little "carry-ons" - happy 2ww and a BFP in about 14 days, right!?

Oh, and we have the exact same situation in Finland, paymentwise and with regard to our population increase (or lack thereof). So it was really killing us thinking that we'd be paying at least ten grand here (well, our insurance might have covered the meds actually) whereas in Finland we could have done IVF for free. But as we live here now and were not willing to wait.... Of course in the end that didn't happen either as life got in the way, but the differences between countries are amazing. Well, I'm glad you get to take advantage of the generous system!

ET done. I'm on 2ww until March 23. They only had 2 embies to transfer, 1 broke apart during the night. I hope the two manage to stay in whole and get bigger and bigger. HD was with me and had the opportunity to follow what's going on in me. He always said yes and yes to everything, but afterwards it turned out, he didn't see anything The u/s picture was like outer space for him.
