Weezie: LOL you got me laughin so hard! Yeah - tacos are a quick meal. I had already made spanish rice and pinto beans yesterday, si just had to brown some meat. But I will definitely make dh think it was more work  And um.. I don't feel big and bloated :( Should I be worried?? I wanna be bloated too!!

About ICSI: I just think these REs wanna make extra money from us and it pisses me off a bit. I will be doing ICSI b/c dh's morphology was less than 2% on his last SA, but if you've got healthy swimmers, what's the point??

Marin: you are CRAZY: I think you deserve "craziest injection ever prize!!" I haven't had any bruising with gonal f - the only thing different is that a tad bit of blood appears afterwards.

Rinnie: Hmm, I guess I need to look inot buying different milk! I never paid any attention to it.

21bat 23 follies!! that is GREAT! Your E2 is high cuz you got so many follies, nuttin to do with food.

loopie: ummmm ding dongs are a type of snack, what are YOU thinking about???

Dh came home and I fed him and his friend, and now friend is gone! Mission accomplished!! Tomorrow I get to see hhow my follies are progressing and I will know for sure if Monday is the ER date!!

Thanks for the input on ICSI! You're right - whatever gets the most fertilized. and since i have lots of eggs, we can do half and half. I guess if nothing fertilizes without ICSI then we have nothing to put back in and then this is all for nothing, so if this will ensure good fertilization and embies, the $2600 will be worth it in the end.

Marin: In the car and in the dark??? LOL You are a trooper! Lucky you...I am one huge big bruise.

Thanks Weezie and everyone!

RBJean: It will go fast now. It seemed like forever to me too...till I started stimming. Good Luck on your first shots.

MIA: Be glad you arent bloated yet. Lucky you. Congrats on pulling off dinner on short notice. Be sure to tell your DH to not do that again...till after you are past all of this. You definetly dont need alot of stress right now.

21Bat: I think you are making a good choice. It would be a shame to go through all of this and not have any fertilize. I would just tell them that if they dont need it...then dont do it. I think they can tell before actually doing it.

How are you guys keeping track of where you did the shot, so you dont do it in the same spot?
i read about putting little circle bandaids on the place where the shot was, but it really sticks to my skin and leaves a pink circle around it and gets all dry around...looks ugly!! :(
with 3 shots/day now, it's hard to keep track!

Thanks Tammy - that helps! I'll try that -

I do them on the sides of the belly button and underneathe. Not on top or above the belly button. As long as they are a tiny bit away from each other you will be fine. Plenty of room. I do them about 1.5 to 2 inches away from the belly button. :D

They told me mine was 12mm and that it was good. That was after 11 days of stimming. So I would say 12 is great so far!

for those of you that are as bloated as i am, here's a website i found :)

http://www.parents.com/parents/story.js ... a/5804.xml

it's not specific to IVF, but i'm sure all the same stuff applies
the last one talks about peppermint - do you know if it's ok while pregnant? i would think it's ok...

Hi Ladies

Rio O O O O O O's lucky girl

Loopie Sorry i didn't see your post earlier not that i can do to much to make you feel better except to say its completely normal i say you need to distract yourself go and do some shopping or something non baby related and see if that changes your focuss alittle or maybe you should do the opposite go and see a friend with a new baby if you have one and give that baby a cuddle and kiss and remind your self exactly why your putting yourself through all of this it will definately be worth it when you can say hey look at me i'm gonna be a mummy.

Tammy i'll be sending good vibes your way 9am tommorrow goodluck

Sorry have to finish post later

Loopie – Sunday woo-hoo!!!
Tammy – good luck tomorrow – lots of mature eggs and fertilization thoughts your way. Maybe the numbing cream is just some salt rub and the effect is just in my head - but it works  I hope you feel fine and please let us know how it went when you can.
Marin – wow- that is a crazy shot story
Weezie – I don’t mean to rain on your parade but no hanky-panky after cycle day 10! That’s what my RE said, otherwise you can mess up the fertilization of the mature eggs or something… sorry :(
Mia – you cracked me up! Trust me, you don’t want to be bloated!
21batt – DH is keeping track of the PIO shots on my lovely lady humps ;) I have little permanent marker circles all over, quite fancy
Jomae –too funny!
