Good luck to all on transfers and collections coming up too, and hang in there on the two week wait. Sorry to hear your feeling a little bummed Karen - this last stage is just the worst part of the roller coaster. Keep positive!

I had ER Monday - all went well - they managed to harvest 17 follies (???) which was nice shock - of those 12 fertilized - praying that some of those will make it. All well my ET is Thursday. Little bit bummed because doctors have outright refused to put any more than one embryo back - which limits my chances - but need to stay hopeful.

This whole collection / transfer / 2ww bit is the worst! I wish could just be time warped (to about 9 months from now if possible!! Post BFP of course).

NY4th - I just wanted to say congrats to you on those 7 fert. little embies. I know you have been through a lot on this journey and I hope and pray this is your time.

Melo_P - I must have missed that you were going to ER, sorry. It is so hard to keep up on this board. Congrats on the 12 fertilized embies. Hope they grow strong. So why won't they put back more then 1? I know most RE's will put at least 2 back seeing that you are over 30. Keep us posted and Good Luck.


Amber - Good luck on ER on Wednesday. Hope you get a lot of good quality eggs. If I were you I would defiantly watch for signs of OHSS. Your E2 level is really high and when you take the HCG shot it will make it higher. Just drink lots of fluids and eat protein for what I hear. I don't want to scare you but I thought it was better for me to mention it just in case you didn't know.

Karen - So glad that you are feeling better. I know the 2ww is such a roller coaster ride. One minute we are happy and then the next we are not.

Bell - Glad to hear you are pushing up your FET. I am so ready to start my cycle and get this over and done with. Not looking forward to the 2ww but I can't stand waiting around.

gina - Keeping my fingers crossed that you have and good u/s and b/w today.

Amanda, I'm not familiar with CARS. Is that near Asheville? It took me awhile to decide which clinic we would use. I narrowed it down to Duke, and one in Raleigh, and the one we went with which is Southeastern Fertility in Charleston, SC. It's quite a drive for us, but I have some co-workers who went and were successful so I went on their referral. It sounds like you have a great number of follies. I will be thinking of you on Thurs and saying a prayer for all of us.

Chris, it sounds like you know exactly how I'm feeling right now in the 2ww. I thought work would keep me busy and keep my mind off of it, but I still feel like it's there all day long. I guess I'll just have to wait the 2 more days. I thought about POAS but I can't handle seeing another negative. I know you are getting excited to get started.

Bell, glad the cyst went away and your FET got bumped up. That's only a couple of weeks away!

Karen, good to hear you're feeling better. We can get through this!

Melo, congrats on the good report. That's a lot of follies. I'd love to ask anyone who has gotten a high number if you did anything different with diet, herbs, acupuncture, drinks, etc. I was somewhat disappointed with my response, but am staying positive since only one is needed. Robin-sleep well tonight and don't think of your ET tomorrow, things are taken care of for you with the man upstairs. Just relax and think, this is the last day you are not going to be prego...actually you are technically two weeks along! HA! It will happen! I feel it.

When is PGD needed? Will it harm the embie at all? Anyone doing assisted hatching?

Thanks! I needed that. I'm so nervous right now. Still a chance we may get a call to wait and do the 5dt but the later it gets the less likely that will be. If we do the transfer today, we'll be doing assisted hatching. Helps implantation at this stage...

wonderce - I know exactly how you feel - I was just there. I did not POAS... as I was like you - a negative result that was not yet "final" was too much for me to handle. fingers crossed!! You asked about what people did to get eggs. I got 11 not a ton but ... i'm sure acupuncture helped me.

Karen - I definitely had my lows during the 2ww.... be nice to yourself.... It is like a kind of purgatory.

Melo - congrats on your ER - 17 - what a great #!! I'm surprised your RE will only put one in. This means they think you have a really high chance of success!! You asked about my scan date. I'm not sure... I have my second beta next monday and then I think a week later my scan...

amanda - wow you've got a log of eggs! take care of yourself...

bell - that's exciting your FET is on its way...

As for me i'm hanging in there waiting for my second beta next week. Fingers crossed that it comes back good... Lots of cramping and many naps - all of which I'm grateful for....

just wanted to give u ladies all a quick update....i went for b/w & u/s...tonight is the night for hcg @ 9:30p.m. then off i go on thur 11/6 for ER.....i have the list of follicle size i will post them later with my estrogen level.... i am @ work now so just wanted to send u all a quick post...hope u are all feeling good...good luck to u all & i am sending lots of baby dust & hugs...

Hi guys,
Just got back from my 3dt. We transferred 2 embies - both were grade 1, 8 cell. Our RE said these were perfect embryos - they like to see them between 7 and 9 cells. YAY! We have 5 others that we are watching that ranged from 7-12 cells and grades 1 & 2. Will decide on which ones go to freeze between day 5 and 7. So, I'm officially now in the 2WW and PUPO!!! I'm being a couch potato today, watching election results and being pampered by my DH who took the day off! My 1st beta is Nov 12th but they won't call me then My 2nd beta is Nov 14th!!!

I am really nervous. I had cramping Sunday and Monday. Some brown spotting last night and this morning. My beta is tomorrow but I couldn't wait so I did an hpt and it was negative. I have kind of given up hope for this cycle. I wish we hadn't told anyone that we were doing this because now we'll have to tell a lot of peeps that we're not pregnant. I am turning off my phone tomorrow. If we get the neg we're expecting, my dh is going to make the calls. Sigh.

bonnie_bc - Sorry for the negative HPT. There has been lots of gals that still have a positive beta after getting a negative HPT so there is still some hope. Last cycle I had, I told everyone what we were doing but I gave them a warning that I was only going to call with good results, if I didn't call that means it didn't work. So then a couple of days after my negative beta I sent out a mass email to everyone. I just didn't want to talk to everyone personally and go through the pain over and over. Good Luck with your beta tomorrow. I will be keeping my fingers, toes, legs and whatever else crossed for you.


Robin - Congrats on ET. Now you are officially PUPO. Can't wait for your BFP.

hey ladies quick post here are the sizes of my follicles on the rt side 16.5,18.5,18,20,14,14,17,17,10,10,10 on my left side 15,18.5 16.5, 19, 18.5, 21,19,15,15...so there are 20...anyways chat with u all soon hugs


bonnie_bc--hey i am sorry you are feeling so down...i have looked at other post on this site & some women have taken a hpt test & it came out neg then took there beta & it came out positive....so hope for the best...which i understand is hard to do, but remember we on this forum are here for u......big hugs to u chat with u soon

Thanks for the support. It's nice to be talking to others who are going through the same stuff. None of my friends really understand any of this. I turned my phone off today so I don't have to deal with this! Just staying home and cleaning obsessively! ha! I'll post tomorrow what the news is.

I am sorry to hear about the hpt, but i would have been anxious and did the same thing. Just relax and wait until you hear from the professionals. Don't give up hope. You'll get that BFP. You are in my prayers.

I just went in to see my nurse today and my ER date is December 10th and my ET is December 14th. Seems like an awful long time away but it really isnt. I guess.

I am to take Lupron for 26 days. Is this normal? I thought you take Lupron for 2 weeks.

hey ladies i have an important question my doc said my estrogen level is @ 2,795 do u think that this is something i have to worry about & not to mentation but my blood pressure today was 86/60 is this something i have to worry about i am going crazy
