SueQiwi - I am with you, the needles do not phase me at all. Even the PIO. Yes, the only thing that does scare me is another BFN. I think I will go crazy if I get that. Hope the third time is the charm and congrats on starting all the drugs.

Rosario - What's up with you? Have you triggered yet? I know you are sick of going to the RE's office by now but think of all those great follies you are growing.

Molly - 8 cells is good for day 3 embies. For this cycle I am just asking to have 3 good embies at 6 or 8 cells on day 3 for me to transfer. Last time I had 1 8 cell, 1 4 cell and 1 3 cell.

OK guys here we go... I get to TRIGGER at 830 this evening. I was shocked when i got the news. I was so speechless and didn't even find enough ways to say Thank You to my RE's nurse. This morning I had 16-18 follies (sorry i don't remember the exact num). The only thing I am worried about is the fact that I wasn't even put on Centrotide. So i am scared that if I trigger I can possibly ovulate on my own???? I have been on stims since Friday the 23rd which puts me at 11 days (12 if you count that Friday). I am actually surprised they didn't try to push beyond the 14 days like my other clinic. Most follies were bigger than 20mm the smallest maybe 18-19mm. I am so happy and just looking forward for retrieval. Now we will see if i get a 3 day or 5 day. My clinic does 3 day transfers but if all looks well they will hold off until day 5.

What do you guys think about my cycle? Do you guys think that it is possible to ovulate since I am not on Centrotide?

Natashamom Congrats on your BFP!!!
to_have_fun08 Grow follies grow!!!

Hello Ladies! I have been reading your posts for a few days now and decided that if I am the website everyday I might as well join you if you will have me! I am still learning lingo and etiquette be patient with me please.

I am in my 2WW and after visiting the board I know that I am not alone. I had 3 embies transferred on 1-28 (1- 8 cell & 2- 5 cell). Re retrieved 7 eggs- 4 mature-3 fertilized. Pregnancy test on 2-11. Trying to stay relaxed. I didn't realize how many meds I was going to be on and still am on. There was talk about PIO vs. suppositories, I am on both (YUCK!)plus climara patches, 2 every other day.

Waiting- I am from NY where is Crumb's in the city?

Hi everyone...

I'm hoping you won't mind if I join in...I could really use some support and guidance!

I'm on IVF #1. I just turned 37 in January and my husband will turn 37 in April. We have fertility problems because I only have 1 set of ovaries and tubes and my one tube is blocked. Other than that, all of my labs came back normal. My Day 3 FSH test was 42 and when I had my trial transfer and ultrasound, my doctor told me she saw 15 follicles and that was a good number.

I just finished BCPs last Wednesday and I'm on day 1 of my menses. I'm also on Day 14 of Lupron. I'm taking 20units every evening. On Friday I have a Estradiol blood test and ultrasound and I'm supposed to start taking 150units of Follistim and 10 units of Lupron every evening beginning on Saturday. They're estimating that my embryo retrieval will take place between February 16-20.

I guess I'll know more as I go in for my blood tests and ultrasounds but oh this unknown stuff is killing me. I'm trying to relax though.

Hope you're all doing well...I'm learning alot by reading this forum. [/b][/i]

Hello Ladies

I am glad to see that everyone is doing good and congratulations to all you ladies that have gotten your BFPs Well I got the call from pharmacy today to let me know that they got the order from the RE for meds and insurance covers everything all I have to pay is co-pays the only thing is that the insurance would only approve 16 of the vivelle patches and I have to have 28 to start out with so with having to pay for additional 2 boxes it was only 158 which is better that what I had to pay before for regular meds for doing a fresh cycle

Anyway talked to the RE nurse today and she said that I have to take BCPs until the 21st of Feb then I have to wait for AF and it has to be full flow and then I will start Vivelle patches and she said that I should go for FET about the first part of the third week in March and we have three 5 day blasts that are frozen so I am planning on taking all three

Is there any advice that anyone can give me about FET that would help me out seeing as how this will be our last try because we really cant afford it again

Barb- I am definitely having some bad cramps. So bad on my right side I was sure my ovary was twisting- it made me curl up and cry from pain last night but feels ok now... who knows whats going on.

Molly- My cramps range from normal AF stuff to sharp pains AND I am totally bloated! I haven't gained any weight so I am not worried about OHSS but I can't wear my clothes comfortabley anymore  I can't wait until the 17th (still mad that I am the last one of us to find out haha) to see if this is all worth it.

Valdez- Welcome to the board. It looks like you're gearing up and ready for the biggest part of IVF. Good luck with everything!

RosiePosie- I only visited NY once (2 weeks ago) but I know there are Crumb's everywhere. The one I went to a few times was @ Bryant park on 42nd. www.crumbsbakeshop.com is their website. I highly recommend their B&W cookies... I wish I could have one right now

I am also extremely bloated, and I have cramps in my ovaries, but I thought that may still be from retrieval. If I sit down suddenly I will get a sharp pain, but other then that I am fine.

To Have Fun or anyone else do you guys plan to take HPT before beta?

I am definitely NOT going to POAS before the beta. Everytime its negative I still hold out hope its wrong and if it's positive, I'd be too worried it was my Ovidrel shot or a chemical pregnancy. I plan to wait on my RE explaining the levels and everything to me before I get too worked up.

WOW, I've missed so much since my ET. I've been MIA since Sunday and I have missed a lot!!

There is no way I can try to figure out what all I missed.

I hope everyone is doing well.

I am now in my TWW. Of my 19 embies, 12 were able to be frozen (7 on day 3 and 5 on day 5). We had 2 good 5day embies put in and are told by RE to be optomistic.

It was neat. We got to see the embies on a tv and they showed them being sucked into the cath and then we got to watch on the u/s screen them putting the cath into uterus and then we got to see the little embies pop out of the cath and into uterus. We got to actually see the little embies sitting there in my uterus.

They gave us a picture of the embies and the dish that the embies grew in. :D

The RE wasn't gentle, but getting to see everything like that made it all worth while.

I do have a question, as with most of us I am analyzing every little twinge and pain, but when do you experience implantation bleeding (if at all)?

Me and DH have agreed, no pg tests before BETA. I just hope I can stick to that. He actually asked me, "Are you going to sneak and do a pg test and not tell me?" LOL I told him I wouldn't so, I can't. But that doesn't mean I won't want to.

I hope everyone is doing well.

I'm praying for BFP's all around this board!!! :D

I got my call really early this morning which surprised me! Karen (ivf coordinator) was excited - said she couldn't wait. So far I have 3 embryos that are 4 cell. 1 is grade 4, 2 are grade 3 and 1 is grade 2. I have 2 embryos that are 3 cell, grade 3 and 2. 2 embryos that are 2 cell 1 good and 1 fair. I go in tomorrow for transfer. She said we talk then about how many to transfer and what they are looking like. I'm sooooo excited :!:

waiting for 4 - I don't think I will POAS either. I'm gonna try and control myself!! Dh is actually wanting 3. Can you imagine that! It is doable but I would love 2 and then I am done.

espinozal23 - That is great that your insurance will pay for your meds! Shoot I have paid out of pocket $3000 so far.

Valdez - Welcome to the board! I am on my first IVF too. The unknown is hard but you know what is goes by faster than you would ever imagine. Just the other day during the ER I told my DH I couldn't believe it was happening already! I was on Lupron in Dec. and the day I was suppose to start stimming we had to stop it all bc my father in law had been put on life support. It felt like we were so close. I thought it would be forever b4 we would get to do it and now here we are!! ET is tomorrow!!

RosiePosie- WOW your only 1 week away - GREAT! Why in the world do they have you on all those meds??

Rosario- I was worried that I was going to ovulate on my own to. When I woke up the morning of ER I couldn't feel the pain that I had been feeling in my overies and I was scared to death!! But they were all there. I think you'll be ok.

SueQiwi - NEW LIFE !!! It's on it's way. Visualize it and it will happen!!

Have a great day ladies!

How do you ladies make those tickers? I went to tickerfactory but can't find one for the TWW. I have no clue how to find one to use.

tburks- I don't know why all the meds it seems everyone else is on one form of progesterone. This is my 1st IVF, it is all new to me. If I have to do it again (Ihope not), I will know better what questions to ask. I figured I would listen to RE without question because I have nothing to compare it to. He has a small practice in Westchester county, he is self-sufficient all tests and procedures are done in his office.
