Rayofsunshine - Oh dear... I would not worry about the bleeding as of yet... it is a concern but common... You know in a few weeks you could get a dropplet and listen to your lo's heartbeat. I did that at my last pg when I was worried it is really re-assuring. You can hear it as soon as 7w.

not hopeless yet - You know my ED was on Gonal F and it didn't work she only had 8 eggs and was very young. So don't trust that one too much? But maybe it will be ok for you. I would not worry about EW though I think you are ok... Good luck to you girl.

Lauren - Way to go for AF!!! I think your 2ww in Vegas will be a great help you will keep busy Congrats on starting your cycle... ya!!!

mcfarland - good luck to you dear... how is everything treating you?

AFM - Still looking at houses. We are afraid that the people who wanted to buy our house are scanners they are not calling us and we are worried. Anyways... I am still looking at rentals and I love a lot of them but my dh hates where they are and when he finds some where he wants us to be I hate them?? So we just can't get along on it. Oh well.

good morning everyone!! i just got home from my basecheck SnS, and am now waiting all day for the phone call that will hopefully get me started on my stims tonight!! everyone cross your fingers that i can get started today!! AF is as evil as i thought she would be this time since i skipped her the past 2 visits. yikes...who needs her? because i'm ready to pass her on!!

tammy trust me..you are not alone! i totally know how you are feeling. please try to stay positive, and take things day by day, and step by step. the fear can be very overwhelming, and its not good for you mind and soul. i'm so glad you are going to acupuncture! let me know what you think ok? i think its going to help you with your anxiety, and will help you feel like you are doing something positive to help this process turn into a wonderful BFP!! the biggest thing ive learned is that you need to let those fears and emotions out. if you keep them inside they just get worse. i'm so glad you trust us with your fears. you are an amazing and strong woman, and this is going to be your time! if you need to talk...i'm always here!!

lauren wooohooo for AF coming...now we both need her to get out of town!! ive never done the patches before, but they sound soooo much better then injections! and no SnS's until the 9th? this is going to be an easy cycle for you. its going to make for a nice calm home for your baby on the 12th!! oh and i'm going down to see spoon at the house of blues! i heard that they had to cancel a show there last weekend because of code violations...hopefully they fixed them! yikes!

i'm so glad you were able to get out of work and go have it checked. its great news that the RE said there was no bleeding in your uterus, and the sac!! i have also heard that IVFer's tend to bleed a lot..i have no idea why...just to add more stress into all of this for us?? i hope you are feeling better today. keep your legs up as much as possible, and take it easy with lifting. i think its a good thing that you told a few people at work, because now they will take care of you, and help you! all my thoughts are with you! keep me posted!!

Well SnS did not go well at all. Most likely I will be cancelled again.
They could not see my left ovary at all which had one in it and out of the 2 on the right side one is still a 10 and the othe is a 17. They are waiting on lab results, maybe cancel maybe go another 2 days try to see the left ovary again then SnS and decide.
Not looking good.....
Financially speaking if we cancel it's 3000.00 in meds again, if we go to ER and fail, it's 10,000. This was gonna be our last time cause the meds are so much. My wife thinks because we had nothing the first time and 3 this time, that we should cancel and try one more time. I am guessing she a money tree somewhere that I dont know about.
My Re doesnt go to retreval with less than 4. Like I said it does not look good.
I dont think that PMA is gonna help this time......I just need to not cry at work and make it through the day.

Marci - I am so, so sorry to hear this. Hopefully your e2 will be low so they will let you go an extra day. I hate this for you. Did they have at least two people look for your left ovary? Sometimes my ovary (can't remember which) hides, and one time I had a couple of techs look until they found it. Praying for you.

It's not over yet. We are very alike. My left ovary isn't functioning at all my RE thinks. Though I'm not surprised because my left tube had to be removed along with so much other stuff my last pregnancy. So, I'm just relying on my right tube, and apparently, it's not working like they believe it should be. Wait and see what RE says. Don't give up!

Marci: I really hope that they give you 2 more days before they give up on you. They haven't had trouble seeing your left ovary before, right? If that's true, then maybe they'd have better luck in a few days locating those eggs. Ugh. What a total drag. Let us know what they say after the call today. I'm thinking of you, as always!

Sara: I could soooo relate to your post. I didn't tell long-distant friends I was pregnant until I was 21 weeks. Can you believe that? I also thought as soon as I told people that something "bad" would happen. Sure enough, 2 days after I told everyone I had some spotting. Luckily it was nothing and I now have a health DS. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you I know how you feel. I'm sure everything's fine with you too and you'll have a happy, healthy baby(s) in 9 months!

marci oh hun i am so so sorry! this hasnt been an easy time for you. from someone who's been canceled her fair share i know its never easy. i hope they will let you stick it out for a few more days to see whats happening, and to be able to find that other ovary of yours. it more likely depends on you lining because there is only a window of time they have to do the transfer once your uterus is thick. they may be able to do the ER and then do a freeze all cycle on the eggs they get, and then do a FET next cycle. its so hard to get this kind of news at work. please let me know what the RE says when they call ok? sorry for the 2nd post...
the phone rang as soon as i posted! i got the GREEN LIGHT!! woooohoooo i start my gonal-f tonight!! here we go again!! i thought i would have to go in for my B/W on sunday (which i was not looking forward to because i'd have to drive 45 minutes eash way down to their main office because my office here in town isnt open on sundays...plus getting up at 6am on sunday didnt sound fun!) but they said i was to come back on monday AM for my B/W!! one step at a time!!

soooo question...has anyone had to give themselves injections while not at home? i'm going to a concert in boston tomorrow night and will need to do my PM stims in the car in the parking lot before we go in. (i'm going to have to do it about an hour early because there is noway i can take it inside the show, but my nurse said that it was fine)
i was wondering if you guys think it will be ok to just put my gonal-f pen in a ziplock with an icepack? its going to be pretty cold tomorrow night so i'm thinking the ice pack will be ok. i might have a lunchpack somewhere around this house..i'll have to go check. just wondering if that sounds ok?

ok thats all...still waiting to hear on those betas today!!!

Hey Turtle,
I am going to Bonjovi tonight at Mohegan, and I was just thinking about that. I have to do my Follistim (same as Gonal-F), and figure I will just put it in a cooler w/ an icepack and do as you said, give it in the parking lot. My only concern is I'd have to do it about 45 min or an hour earlier than I have been-at 7:45 or 8 instead of 8:45-does anyone know how much leeway we get on that? It's my 3rd night of stims.
