Lou- I was on the antagonist cycle with Cetrotide. And the follicles do grow after the trigger. They grow the same rate they've been growing my RE says.

Margi - Woo Hoo!!!! Awesome News!!!!

Tammy - Glad you're back!

Lou - Yes they still grow which is how I end up with a few more than I expect usually.

Tiger - I totally agree with Katie. Go with your heart.

AFM - E2 was 318 on Monday. Today up to 1400! My nurse said my RE is "scratching his head over my numbers going up and down". I told her that I have been doing the estradial vaginally the past 2 nights so maybe that's why? She said it doesn't usually effect the E2 like that. Weird! This is night # 12 of stims. She does not expect trigger this weekend! My longest stims have been 15 nights. It does not sound good to me.

Hi ladies...sorry for no personals all though I have alot to say to everyone...but i am 3 days past ET and am having cramps. They started off feeling like a gentle tugging on my uterus and know they are almost like period cramps. I have been all on the internet looking this up. It ranges from...ohhhh...its the progesterone..to its implantation cramping. I am so flipping crazy trying to dissect every symptom of my body!!! I know I need to calm down and think of it just as the meds in my system but OMG I want/need it to be so much more. Please please please let it be implantation!!! i can't even type!!! Anyone else got experienced...good or bad I am trying desperately to be realistic!!!!

Thanks for asking, Leora. ;)

My ovaries looked good. My blood work showed elevated tsh. It's never been elevated. Could it be due to being on bcp? I start Synthroid tomorrow. I will say I do think I have a few thyroid issues, but they could be caused from pcos as well. Anyway, I start stims Sunday.

After trying for five years, and being dealt heartache after heartache, I am finding it hard to get exciting about this cycle. I have myself so heavily guarded emotionally. It doesn't seem fair either way, but it's all I can do. Are you ladies like this?

Lou- They change me from leuopride to Cetrotide this cycle but I don't start the Cetrotide until Thursday. I am curious on how it will do.

afm - i am slowly preparing myself for the bad news..today its 8 days past my 3 day transfer (or 11DPO). but however, i have already started getting my periods cramps..last time also i started getting it around this time..

Katie: Thanks for checking in. Love your PMA...and FET around Valentines Day? Perfect. :-) And I, too am with you about testing AFTER?!?!? I myself am wondering about what additional tests I should be asking for before we get started on this next go-round. Sorry about the conflicting feelings regarding your dropping levels. Makes total sense. Stinks, but makes sense. And really sorry about your back :-(

Amanda1979: Excellent...keep it up follies!!! Image

Wait..two Amanda’s and nearly on the same schedule? This will be a challenge...

Anton: Welcome!! Love your positive attitude.

Annashope: Thanks for crashing...miss you! Hope that all continues to go fabulously for you. I am super excited to be given another chance. I like your quote about the sun rising after the darkest hour....it is time for the sun to shine on many of us. Take care.Image

Ryann: You too!! Thanks for crashing! Sorry that you are feeling miserable, but glad that all is well with the babies. Take care of yourself--and no need for guilt.Image

Rio: My fearless and ever-optimistic cheerleader. Is this crazy news of mine or what? I am ON the prowl for the best doctor as we speak. Sorry about your family drama. Try to keep focused on what is really important and central to your life...DH...your DS...and that growing little one inside of you. You are an amazing woman and a beautiful soul. I am so blessed to know you.Image

Deftonesmo: Welcome!!! Will be starting stims in no time.

Kat: Sorry about that progesterone side effects...just have to remind yourself what a great cause it is for. What...you are going to wait until Friday or Saturday?!?! Ok...I guess “we” can wait to see your BFP. LOL

Lou: As I said on the other thread, I think all looks good. Still time to get a few more eggs before retrieval. Acupuncture soon to help you relax?Image

Sherry (hotgreentea): Welcome! Yes, this ttc is such a roller coaster of emotions. Feeling guarded is completely normal. Try to take extra care of yourself during this time and do things that help you feel happy and peaceful.

Hope (Ashley): I think you are at a great spot...keep going and keep up the PMA. Yeah, I couldn’t believe it myself about the insurance thing. But I plan to take TOTAL advantage and get our baby this year!! You, my dear, will be PUPO in no time. In the meanwhile...relax... And let those follies grow. 10 sounds awesome.Image

Lauren1171: How are you doing? I don’t know much about what those changing levels mean...maybe ask Ghost’s opinion? Sending lots of positive energy your way.Image

Carol: Sending you a PM. But, for my IUIs I used 150 gonal-F daily. Then on the 3rd round we added 150 Menopur in addition. Those doses worked well for me, but I know that everyone’s body is different. I only was working with one tube which significantly handicapped us. But--it was our only option.

Sunshine12: That trigger is out!!! Get to peeing my friend!Image

Kynlee: 21 days to stimming!!Image

Penny (Darlene): Welcome to the craziness that is the 2ww...if you get really nutso you can be nominated as Mayor of Crazy Town. I have been the Mayor...maybe once...or twice...Image

Leora: Glad all went well with the HSG. Sending lots of positive energy your way my friend. Take care of yourself. You are such a wonderful person--are you using your talents? Any new singing opportunities? Feed your spirit my friend.Image

Kimber: Congrats on the green light to start stimming!! Get to poking yourself!!!Image

Krcaja (Kristin): Congrats on a frosty!! That is awesome. A sibling some day. Regarding analyzing every symptom--it is normal--I predict that you will soon be elected Mayor of Crazy Town (person who is going nutso during the 2ww). It is so difficult---try your best to relax, positive visualization, distraction, and of course, POASing helps to..increase the madness! Lol. I am quite the addict and pusher of POAS as you will see with me.Image

Sunshine1576: Did you decide about the lap surgery?

Tiger: Looks like you solved that SD issue just perfectly. Sometimes sleeping on things really helps when you have a difficult decision to make--although for you it was a decision between two great options. This is going to be your time!!! And I agree, we are quickly, but thoroughly, looking for a new clinic. One that is open on SUNDAYS for SnS would be nice...sheesh...This cycle is going to be yours!!! I can feel it!Image

Tammy: Baseline tomorrow my friend. This cycle is it! This is your year. This is our year!! PMA PMA!!
Image

Lyd10/Andrea/Nwquiz: AF dance for you ladies!Image

SD: How are you doing?

Karian: Congratulations on hearing a HB. So, so very happy for you. Sorry about the cold...take extra good care of yourself, mama!

Wannabeamum (Samantha): So sorry about the broken arm. Ouch! :-( Definitely take it easy. What type of furbabies do you have? Looks like a lot of us have puppies on this board.

AFM: Contacting clinics, comparing success rates and other reviews....any suggestions are welcome! Southern Cali Reproductive Center looks really promising....Looking at centers that have particularly good numbers for the over 42--although I may feel like I am in my 30s..my body seems to think otherwise at times. I am feeling really full of hope. Thank you all for your well wishes and encouragements. I am hoping to get myself started the cycle after next with a new clinic. Anyone think I should "try" a round with my current clinic as I look? Or would that just push me back and lose time?

Sunshine12: I sent my post before I saw your most recent...everyone is different, but for me it helps to POAS to help me prepare mentally. You really can't always tell from your body cues what is a BFN and what is a BFP. As for when to start next? It is possible to jump right back in...I have definitely done it that way. Some people prefer a cycle off. I am hoping that you are wrong and you will be surprised with a BFP!!

Ladies: I am SO sorry that I have been MIA. I need to spend some serious time reading about 8 pages to catch myself up! I was wallowing a bit in my own pity party trying to figure out what--if anything--we could do to proceed. My "secret" was that I was seriously considering going abroad for IVF. I contacted several different companies and clinics and we were going to try to figure out if we could swing one IVF cycle abroad. Then today, before my WTF session with our current RE I called the insurance company to ask about our benefits to see if anything abroad would be covered....anyway I found out the best news possible...our lifetime limit was lifted as of 2011!! (nwquiz: you were right!!) I literally cried when she told me. I made her repeat it, and I asked her about 10 questions every which way to be certain...but as of now...meds, procedures all are covered. SO I AM back on the IVF train!!! :D :D :D So, now my question is "where?" My current RE is nice and smart, but the clinic has horrible success rates. So DH says we can travel to where the good success rates are...(that take our insurance) So I am now looking from one coast to the other trying to figure out (quickly) who gets the best success with the over 40 gals like me. We didn't tell RE that part so as of now he is planning a protocol, but I don't know if I should do a cycle with him while we try to get something worked out somewhere more reliable or if we should postpone starting here so that we can more quickly get started elsewhere? I am just so happy!! I was feeling at the end of my journey after these 3 failed IUI and now I am geared up and excited to start my next IVF cycle.

I promise to get caught up and dust off my blinkies!!!

Leora: Please move me to waiting for AF...or waiting to start IVF.. :D :D
