Hi guys,
Yeah, I do feel quite surreal I have to say!!..kind of the last thing I expected, but then the nausea and fatigue I'm feeling at present are very much strong reminders that this is all happening ready or not!! I am five and a half weeks by my dates, and I have a six week scan next Wednesday, so please keep me in your thoughts that all is OK. I am sooo incredibly nervous of something going wrong. I m/c my first pregnancy then got pregnant with Annie the FET cycle after that, so I still have those experiences in the back of my mind. I have a referral to an obstetrician and have left a message with his rooms. My due date (YIKES!!) is the 6th of September at this stage, but then I remember with Annie that the date changed ALL the time!!!

Gotta run, Annie is down for a sleep and I might try to get a bit of a nap myself!

Thanks for all of your lovely messages.

Hi Girls,

I've still got huge grin on my face, what a wonderful news!! did I get a little carried away before? I think not!!!!!!

Bel, CONGRATS!!!!!!!! I am sure everything will be just F-I-N-E. Enjoy, enjoy, enjo----oy next nine months!!!!!!!!!! BIG CONGRATS to Johnie and Annie too. Oh I do have a Q for you btw...yea......hm...so tell me... How much practice did you guys have to get this perfect outcome??? he he-heh ;).

Angel, I am dead impressed with your results, I have my everything and more crossed for next week for you and DH. Good luck!

Bella, I hope your relocation back to Sydney is going smoothly and you're having fun making your home, your home - you know what I mean!!

Josie, your baby flipping and doing somersaults in your tummy - sounds like a one healthy bub to me!! I am sure the baby will get it right when the time comes for her grand entrance to meet her family... yep ;).

Jomae, are you suffering morning sickness yet? I hear that is not so nice.... but you have great support around you, esp having your sister as a mum-to-be mate must be a great bonus! I love yout ticker btw - do you think you will have a baby girl?

I got back to Japan on 4th Jan, and it feels like it is more colder here in Tokyo than in London??? I didn't think that was possible??? anyway, I am flying back to Melb around 18th Feb now so I think my tmt will start with my March cycle... yay.

Take care all. Catch again real soon. Tiger

PS O what a Happy Day!

Ahhh Tiger,
You are a sweety, and no, don't think you at all got carried away..I think it's lovely!! We're quite shellshocked to be honest. I bought one of those "maybe baby" kits at the pharmacy, you put some saliva on it and it tells you when you're ovulating. I worked out that I have been ovulating on day twenty one, so terribly romantically we made sure we did the deed around that day..seemed to work out over Christmas!! (just hope my poor little brother doesn't work out..we were staying at his house at the time..he may be a little grossed out!?!?!) I am sooo nervous about the scan on Wednesday, it's 1pm, so do send some positive vibes out Ips-Vegas way at that time..I have to empty my bladder at 11:30, then drink a litre of water over the next half hour then hold it until the scan..gosh I hope they're running on time!!! Keep everything crossed for me won't you!!...
Chat soon

Hi All
Again Bel Congratulations I think Tigers post says it all.
I had to laugh about your comment regarding your poor brother and possibly making the timing connection hopefully being a bloke he won't give it much thought.
How much can they see at 6 weeks our docs making us wait until 8 and half weeks. Mind you it's driving me nuts and it's definately worse than the two week wait. I think because we are still in denial and waitng for them to say sorry we've made a mistake. I guess the scan will confirm things and make it seem more real. We're actually deciding whether or not to go to our local gp and see if we can get one done earlier, do doctors generally do one so early or do you need to ask about that.
Hey tiger you sure move around do you have pets that you take with you or do you find that you move about to often to keep any?
As for the morning sickness not really sure I feel a little sick if i don't eat but no vomitting Yet ( i hope I'll be one of the lucky ones) I am getting a few headaches though and still have some Ohss. I guess with our ticker we are hoping for girls but boys or girls are a blessing.
You must be getting excited about your next cycle march will be here before you know it and like you said this might just be the year for everyone to get bfp's.

Hey Jo,

My GP was happy to refer for a six week scan at my request. I asked for one becuase of my endo history, there is a slightly higher chance of an ectopic pregnancy with endo, so would like to rule that out. My understanding is that at six weeks you don't see a great deal of details, a sack about 1/2 a cm long with (hopefully) a nice strong heart beat. I don't know that I could wait longer than I am, it's hard waiting until Wednesday, but then they do say that good things come to those who wait (and god knows after this IVF lark we've waited enough I reckon!!).

Let me know how you go.
Belinda

Bel and Jomae, it is so nice to have you both new BFPs on here, I am sooo happy. And Josie - due v.soon and Deanne must be due soon too. Wow, not bad going for our little group!!

Bel, Of course I have my fingers crossed for your scan!! but I've no doubt it will go wondefully on Wednesday xxx.

Jomae, I do hope that you're one of those lucky ones too... . I had a friend who was like that - no morning sickness, no complications and easy birth. She had a wonderful fun with her pregnancy - though I hear that that is kinda rare..... My pet hamster is doing fine, he keeps my hubby company when I am away ;).

Cheers, Tiger

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to everyone!!!!!!

Firstly - BelB - OMG        What fantasitc news!!!!!! I was stunned & thrilled to log on after 4 weeks and read your amazing news. That is just amazing :D

I hope everyones christmas was lovely.

We just got home to Australia this morning ay 7.30am - slept for 6 hrs on the plane (I never usually sleep at all!) & am not jetlaged at all. We had a great time, but am pleased to be back in Oz. I think I have put on 3-4kgs!!!! I did loads if shopping & managed to pick up a new pair of Jimmy Choos for $150!!!!!!! What a bargain as they can cost $800-$1200. I did some celeb spotting as well. I saw Nicki Hilton face-to-face shopping in Vegas not once, but twice!!!! I had a conversation with her uncle - he was really nice & didn't care that I was star struck by his niece! I also saw Mathew Broderick in New York - he looks just as he did in his Ferris Bueller (wrong spelling!!) days.

I have started on IVF cycle round three. I am on day three of the pill. We hope to have a little more success with this cycle than the last.

I hope everyone is well & enjoying the festive season.
