HI guys,

Nicki- I took clomid (75mg) and it seems to have done the trick! I have 3 large follies on my right ovary and 1 on my left. I did the scan at work yesterday and it was only day 8 so I'm hoping these 3 on the right will turn into rippers! They were all over 15mm and they only have to get to 20mm. Go ovaries Go!

I am feeling so positive about this cycle. I have to be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow for my first blood test and I have feeling they are going to do the IUI either tues or wed. Very excited!

Is anyone else cycling at the moment? Its very quiet on this thread. I'll post my dates and please add to list if you also have dates.

Got a call from my doc this morning and we are doing the IUI tomorrow. So that makes me a test date 28th June. Fingers crossed!

Well I had my lap everything ok on the inside but when I came round I was in pain and could not pee.So have just spent two nights in hospital on morphine and with a pee bag (

not sure what they call it).Everything is ok now I am home a bit sore but ok.This was a one off so nobody else should worry.
Next step see f/doc on 26th and then iui

Hi Holly,

I'm sorry you had a hard time of it with the lap (the bag is called a catheter bag, BTW). I had a crappy time with my lap too, but thats because I don't do well with GA's.

I had a bit of a stuff up with this IUI. I had it yesterday morning and they did a BT as well because my levels weren't as high as he would have liked the day before. The IUI was really painful because my cervix would play nicely and he had to put traction on it with forceps....OUCH!

So I was feeling pretty sorry for myself and got to work and the clinic called and said that I hadn't ovulated and that we had done it too early and I'd have to come in for a hcG shot that afternoon and then do the IUI again today. Luckily it wasn't as painful today and I am feeling a little better.

So my test date is the 30th June and I really hope this is the one.

Hi guys,

I'm ok. PC, I have felt bloated and yuk ever since my IUI. I didn't last time but this time everything has been different. For starters, I took 75mg of Clomid instead of 50mg and I have been bloated and had terrible breast pain. I have also put one weight

Then the IUI's were very painful. After, I have had ovulation pain (both sides 'cos I had a dominant follicle on both ovaries and both ovulated) and also quite a bit of shoulder pain, I guess from the free fluid from the follicles popping.

I feel better today, except yesterday I had a big wooden blind fall and hit me on the face, cutting me across the bridge of my nose requirng 2 stitches! I have this bandage over it and it looks like I've had a nose job which is what I'm going to tell everyone. Never mind the fact that I have the world's smallest ski-jump nose to start with!

I'm feeling very confident about this cycle. Perhaps I shouldn't be but DH's sperm was 75% and 65 million(which is olympic swimmers by anyone's standard) and having the 2 IUI's and knowing I had 2 follies.....its just gotta work this time!

How's everyone else? Nicki, I am so sorry that there's no sperm and hope that you can get that sorted. Your story really opened my eyes to the whole donor thing. I have always felt uneasy about donating my eggs and DH is the same with his sperm as we hate the thought of our children being out there and not with us but I think thats because we haven't suceeded yet. After hearing your situation, we discussed it and felt terrible for you and guilty that DH's sperm is so good and hopefully my eggs are and then there's people out there who only have donor as an option. We have both decided that once we have suceeded we will donate to our clinic. And we are both praying for you.

Holly, you are off to the doc this week? Good luck for that. Hopefully your IUI will be soon.

Hopefully more people will donate, what are the donor laws like in Australia???
