So, I am tentatively due March 19, 2008. I have been spotting off and on- mostly light- for a week, but my doctors, nurse, and phlebotomist aren't concerned. It comes and goes and is brown. I am hoping that because my betas are doubling and more, that the spotting is not indicative of a miscarriage. Anyone out there have this? I had a miscarriage last November that started with brown spotting, so of course I'm worried. The difference is that last time, my betas didn't rise appropriately. I hope I get to stay with you all for the duration.
I have had some spotting. I actually started the day between my first and second Beta. I was really sad because I assumed I was going to get a BFN. It continued through the morning of July 14th. It has since stopped, and it was mostly light pink and sometimes brown. However, my Betas have been rising appropriately. The RE is not worried, and told me that stressing over it is the worst thing I could do.

Our ultrasound is on Aug. 1st too! I am feeling EXTREMELY tired and EXTREMELY hungry. I also have very sore boobs and I am often dizzy/lightheaded.

Hi Laurie,
My betas were 616, 1407 and 6771. I heard that too about beta but they also say a single baby can produce high numbers too.

Hi Girls,

I feel so lucky to have gotten a bfp last week and have not had b/w since 7/12. My beta was 402 and that was done two weeks after transfer. I'm a little discouraged today though. Lately I have felt no real signs of pregnancy and am getting worried. Tomorrow is my second blood test. Are any of you other girls not getting many, if any, signs of pregnancy? Maybe I am expecting symptoms to happen too soon, but this is scary.

Sher sweetie...Don't get discouraged...Each pregnancy and each women react differently to being pg and the hormone changes...Some women never know they're pg, and others know the minute they conceive...Count yourself lucky, cause the symptoms will probably be starting up any day for you...Everything I've read shows that most women don't feel many/any symptoms until 6 to 7 weeks. Besides, 402 is a good strong number. That may be part of the reason why they didn't test again straightaway.

I know what you mean, though...I know my numbers were increasing like they should, but when I'd compare them to others on the board, they weren't in the thousands like the rest were getting really quickly. At first was a litlte worried, and decided that it's all out of my control, and the only thing that the worrying would do is stress me out and possibly harm the baby...You think of that little one, and just keep focused there. You don't need it, but the best of luck to you tomorrow, Chickie...K? K!

Thanks girls. I did think that if I would be having any trouble, my body would probably tell me, although no sign worries me as well. I'm looking forward to a good number tomorrow and trying to stay positive in the meantime. Your feedback means more than you'll ever know.

Sher8,

I don't have any symptoms either other than occasional mild cramps and I had my 4th beta tested yesterday which was in the 11,000 range. I thought I'd be puking right about now but no signs of nausea or food aversions at all. Good luck with your beta tomorrow. I'm always stressed out with beta days but they always turned out great which I am so grateful for. Keep us updated.

Hey all you March mommies!

I'm so sorry I've been off-line. I'm soooo nauseous and exhausted. All I can do is muddle through my day at work and eat and feel nauseous. Unfortunately, reading hte computer is a big trigger. Kindof like car sickness. Anyway I am so thrilled to see all the great new mommies we have! Congratulations to everyone!!

I have some very happy news of my own. We had seen one heart beat at 5 wk 6 days and had another sac wiht what looked like a heart beat, but they weren't sure and just wanted to wait until 6 wk 6 day US.

Well there were 2 very strong heart beats yesterday - TWINS!! Dream come true. So, we now affectionately refer to them as Lefty and Righty. I think there are alot of twins in our March thread. I will work on a list as soon as this nausea is a bit better controlled. At least now I know why I want to sleep 24 hours a day. And eat constantly

Babydust to everyone!

Hey Laurie- I know- I'm still so nervous that something bad is going to happen. I'm still spotting a little. It comes and goes, but every time I see it, I freak out, thinking the worst. I'm trying to stay calm and not worry. My first u/s is next Wednesday- I'll be six weeks then. I AM feeling some symptoms, which I think is a good sign. I wake up in the morning so tired and kinda shaky. You know that feeling when you're nervous- like butterflies in your stomach? I have that every morning. I am very low energy!!
How are you feeling??

Laurie- I know what you mean. I can barely wait until next week- sorry you have two weeks- UGH!!! I told my dh last night that I wanted to sneak in another beta somewhere. We have these places called Any Lab Test-I am so tempted to go there-HAHA!!! My mother was saying the other day how much longer our pregnancies seem these days- since we find out so early. She said they didn't find out they were pregnant until about 8-10 weeks, so they were already well on their way, while we know two-three days before we've even missed a period!! It does make it longer!! Anyway, just trying to not think about it too much. I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and the last book comes out here on Friday at midnight- so that will hopefully take my mind off of the pregnancy for a couple of days. I've been waiting for the last book for soooo long, I'm so excited that's finally here. I am a pretty slow reader, so it should last me until Monday or Tuesday, then the u/s Wednesday. The good news about you waiting until seven weeks, is that you'll probably see and
maybe even hear the heartbeat!! At six weeks, it's unlikely. Anyway- is there Harry Potter mania over there? Do you read them?
Lynn- How are those twins???

Hello Ladies,

I am from the June/July thread and have been reluctanct to actually join a pregnant after treatment thread. This just doesn't seem real yet. I feel like I may jinx myself by joining it. I have been, however, lurking around reading your posts. There are quite a few others on here from the june/july thread. My first ultrasound is scheduled for July 31 and I have no more blood work scheduled. That seems forever away.
Laurie, I completely understand what you are saying about being nervous and wondering if things are still ok. I wish I could at least go in for a beta and see where it is. I have had a little nausea, but mainly at night. Not sure if it is preg. symptoms or nervousnes building up by the end of the day.
Jennifer, are you still doing the PIO shots? Have they gotten any better?
Anyway, I hope we all start feeling more confident about our pregnancies real soon.
