FET in Nov?

Hi girls. Had my ultrasound today and my lining is at 10mm, so we are good to go for Monday's transfer.

Cocosmomma- Your lining sounds perfect. 10mm is always what my RE said that is what they want to see. Best of luck on your transfer on Monday. I will be 1 week behind you. I go for my lining check on Monday and transfer the following Monday. Are you doing a 3 or 5 day (when were your embies frozen?) My RE only does Frozen transfers at 5 days, so if you freeze them at 3 days they thaw them and let them grow for another 2 days. If frozen at 5 days they transfer right after thaw.

?? Do your RE's grade the blasts? My RE always puts me off on this question. They seem very reluctant to want to disclose any grading and when they do they only give it an A,B,C, or D. I have read that they should be graded with a number followed by 2 letter the # is how the far along the blast is and the first letter is for the ICM and 2nd is for the T.

Hi Guys,
Just got back from my appointment and my lining has not changed at all still is the same 8 like last week! <<<SIGH>>>> i am not sure WTH! is going on this time around. it is the first time i am on the estrace tabs- i did the vivelle patched the last 2 times. I am also in the antibotic since i was so sick last week, do you think that is effective my lining? Don't mean to vent here but i am very frustrated as i have been on estace now since Nov1st! I am not even sure if the FET will happen? My re prescribed this cream pump that i need to put on 2 x a day, not sure of the strenght yet, i am getting the prescription tonight and will be putting on later. He wants me to take 4mgs of the estrace tabs and 2 pumps of the cream in between. NOt sure why i am not responding to the pills. I go back for a check on wednesday December 3rd <sigh> i am so sad right now.....

Hackney- i am glad you popped in! I wish you all the best tomorrow- good luck tons of baby dust to you! How are you feeling otherwise? I am hoping all that cramping is a good sign honey! will be thinking of you!

Cocosmama- GREAT lining! Good luck on Monday!!!!!!!!! How much estrace are you taking? and are you doing the pills or patch? and did you do the lupron? how many are you transfering? Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

Brenda- i may be somewhere along side you with the FET- but then again at the rate that i am going who the heck knows when i will have my FET done.....

have you ever heard of a transfer being cancelled becasue the lining wasn't a 10? And do you think that my lining will be too old since i have been on the estrace for a month and that the embies won't have a good chance to stick cause my lining is too old?????? Aw the worry!

Hope33 -- Sorry to hear about your lining. last month mine was only 5mm and RE said that the lining can be to old if it is not timed right with a natural cycle or with a natural cycle using estrace (no lupron). He said that transfer had to be done according to the same as it would occur if you would have a regular (totally natural old fashion) conception. But I'am sure all RE do it a different way.

Hello Ladies:

I started Estrace today and have an ultrasound on 12/08. If the lining is ok, then the thaw will be 12/09 and the transfer will be 12/12. I would love for this schedule to work.

Hope33: Sorry to hear about your lining. I will have to switch to decaf coffee too. I normally have DH make 1 pot of regular and 1 small pot of decaf. I then mix 1/2 decaf and 1/2 regular. I have already purchased some decaf soda.

Helen: Wow, if you get your BFP tomorrow, you would really have a lot to be thankful for this year .

Cocosmomma: Good luck for your Monday transfer.

Brenda: I'm not sure about the effects of alcohol on your cycle. I normally always abstain from alcohol and try to cut back the caffeine.

Hope, hon I am I am sorry that your lining isn't doing what it should be, but don't give up hon! I am thinking about you and wishing you a thick lining.

This is going to be a quick post, but just wanted to pop in and say I took the HPT this morning and got a BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brenda- thanks for responding to my issue about the lining, so was your cycle cancelled when you were only at a 5? I currently at 8 and i don't know if he would give me the option of doing the transfer anyway and if i should consider it... i am so confused and stressed over this but i guess i should not worry about it until wednesday when i see him. I only hope this works out ....

Ok, my update: Beta was a BFP!!! Beta was 330! Yeeeehawwwww! I go back Sunday for another beta and looking for it to double.

hi hackney! WHAT A GREAT BETA NUMBER!!!!! when i got pregant with my son my first beta number was only 55 so that is terriffic! I bet you may be carrying twins! Were your embies 5 day or 3 day? I am so excited for you! You had a long road but you did it!!!

Well i looked on my IVF cycle journal and i am totally convinced that the amoxil that i was on did not allow the estrogen to be absorbed and that is why my lining has not been thickening. When i started with the estrace tabs in the begining i was taking 2 mgs and in 4 1/2 days i was up to 5mm then i got sick and started the amoxil and that is when my lining only went up to 7mm then the following week when i was still on the amoxil it only went up to 8 and then i had to go back on the amoxil since i had 102 fever and there was no change in my lining..... So now i have been off the amoxil for 3 days and i am taking 4.5mgs of estrace so i am sure my lining will be ready. I think i am going to call my re on Monday to see of i can go in to check or do you think i should wait until wednesday????

Hi Ladies - new here.

I transferred 3 embryos on 11/21. I got a BFN on HPTs 6 & 7 dp3dt so I stopped testing. My beta is scheduled on Tuesday. I'm hopeful - but realistic.

JEENEE-I'm right there with you. I'm 6dt & I shouldn't have but I had to and got a BFN. My fingers are still crossed. Last time I got a BFP I tested 8dt so I will torture myself once again and take one everyday until then. This time I don't feel any different but then again this time I'm not doing the PIO only the inserts so who knows. Best of luck to you

Hi Girls!

I am new here. I had a fet 11/18. (One day 5 blastocyst) Going a little crazy b/c should have had bhcg on Thursday, office closed for holidays so can't get it until monday. took hpt on wed and was BFP!! now just pray not a chemical. Is it just me, or do yall feel like if you fork over this much $$ you should get tests/results on the holidays? I know the people stimming were in the office getting their sonos and labt tests, so, really, what is one other little blood test for them???? Just venting...
