I hope you all had a great Christmas and 2009 is everything you wish for.

I am doing OK but I did have a 24 hour vomiting bug. I could not hold anything down for 12 hours and was considering going to the emergency room as I was concerned about dehydration but I turned the corner and came right. Lucky my DH is great at taking care of me and the kids when I am sick.

I hope you are all doing OK. Has anyone heard from Jen? I would love to know how things are going with her. Does anyone have an email address for her to email her and let her know where we are?

Hi guys,
hope everybody had a nice holidays.
Mo-welcome back!I start showing this time at 10 weeks. -what it's gonna be later?

Jamie,I've sent Jen an e-mail when we moved here and also left a detailed message on our old board,so I guess, she probably very busy with her trio and I hope everything ok.
Are you feeling better now?

Guys, what did you do with constipation? :? I couldn't go for a few days,it was very uncomfortable-felt like overfilled balloon.Tried to drink water, like they recommend, but nothing happened exept million runs in the bathroom.Prune juice and prunes made revolution in my belly  -but I went after that in the morning.
Do you have any thoughts?

Hi All,

I have finally found you all. I am hoping to get some time later to do personnals. I added the baby's name to my login. She is doing great . Weighs about 12lbs. I had her ears pierced last week. So cute... She is now sleeping everynight from 11-8am.

AFM- pretty tired most of the time. 3 in 3 different age brackets is rough. They keep me on my toes. I have lost 46 lbs since Brielle was born and only gained 19 so I am trying hard to get rid of the 85 lbs I gained with Julianna 6 years ago. I thought it was about time :D

JasJulesBriellesMom - great weight loss! Thats fantastic. I will need a marathon effort to get rid of my wide load once this baby is born. Also, pleased to hear the baby is doing so well.

Marina - my recommendation for constipation is flax seed (sometimes called linseed). A couple of tablespoons on your breakfast every morning should keep you regular - I know of nobody who this has not worked for. It is also very good for you but better if you grind it up in a coffee grinder right before eating. Also, kiwi fruit should help too.

Jamie -thanks for a tip :) .
I had u/s today, everything looked great.I was so nervous in the morning that I threw up for the first time !!!Which was very convincing that my babies alive, considering I didn't have m/s from the beginning .
I like this clinic and nurses-they don't think twice-just do the quick u/s for the piece of mind every time you come in.They have those expansive machines in each room and have no problem do the quickie :) Then doctor comes and doesn't hurry out, spends almost 45 min each time.Very different from last time.

Hey Marina- Sorry I haven't posted on the board in a while but I have been checking in on you and the other girls. I have been so busy with chanukah and christmas celebrations I just haven't had much time to write. I don't really have much to report on myself. I am hanging in there. I am down 4 lbs since I have gotten pg but other than that nothing much had changed. I am glad things are going well with you. I read they want to send you to a genetic counselor. It really is not a big deal my friend and sister in law went to one while pg. All they do is draw up a family tree and tell you what your risks are for certain conditions. So how often are you going for u/s? They cut me off. I had the 2 with the RE and then the nachul scan (2 times since the first was too early to measure the fold of the neck ) but now nothing. My dr said he was going to try to get one in at 16 weeks but I don't go back to see him until I am 16 weeks and they wont schedule one without his written orders. The secretary who does the scheduling said they don't do one at 16 weeks and that it would be at 20 weeks. He did tell me he would do 16 and 20 but I guess I will have to wait and see now.

Melissa- How are you doing with the triplets?

Nicole- Any more news or results?

Hope all the other girls are well!

Hi lyly! :) I'd bet dollars to doughnuts the doc will just do the u/s at your 16 week checkup.... so long as you remind him. It is so good to hear you all are doing so well- it is very encouraging. I have a girlfriend who is very bitter about IF, but she hasn't had one child yet- I'm blessed with one, so maybe that's why I'm not so bitter or just don't want to be.... it would affect my DH and DS too much!

AFM~ I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist to see about getting a full colonoscopy b/c I had an excrutiatingly painful period & cramping during my last AF, as well as blood in my BM (sorry, I know it may be TMI for some). This was a new development, so my RE won't move forward with IUI until I see a specialist  SO- I wait until my appointment with him (GI) on 1/15.......... unless, of course, I get preggers. I'm CD17 today- only time will tell. I REALLY think I had the horrific period b/c of the meds (clomid 100mg & progesterone 8% suppositories).

Marina~constipation sucks, but what works for me, and this will sound weird and I'm sure illicit MANY laughs, but it works~ drinking dill pickle juice.... in a matter of hours you'll be cleaned out!

You all should see Ronda~ she doesn't think she's skinny again, but she is!! And her baby girl is just gorgeous! I know you don't want to come back, but I'm so anxious to have you back here, girl!!!!

XOXO to all you preggies!

Marina,

I mixed Benefiber in my beverages and it really helped with constipation. You can't even taste the stuff! Glad to hear the doc's ofc is taking time with you.

Debbie

Hey Ronda,

I had them done at piercing pagoda. Same place I had Juliannas done 5 years ago. They are certified and very clean.

Lyly glad you are doing well. Seems so quick you are almost in second trimester.

Lisa- How are the boys?

Jamie- Do you know the sex of the baby?

Marina- So happy things worked out for you. Saves you from having to make such a difficult decision!!

Hi guys!

Debbie-welcome to our new place :D

Lyly,I hear you with the busy holidays ,but I'm taking it easy this year(means doing nothing),just don't have any energy.Had to say no to fun New Year's Eve party and got that look from a friend  (well, had to lie that we already had plans  )I can't drink, can't go in a hot tub, can't really wear a sexy dress, can't dance-what kinda fun is there for me? :(
About my u/s-they do it every time I go.So far I was going every week, last time-10 days, next time in 3 weeks, but we have next Mon. appt.with genetic counsel,so I don't know if we'll do anything. But they told me(I don't know if they are so kind because of my previous situation or they do this with everybody)that I can even come for a "quickie"if I'm having a nervous breakdown for some reason  They have u/s machines in every room and all nurses trained to do the u/s(well,at least to see if there is a heartbeat and baby moving)
Yeah,it's a long wait until 16 weeks for you,but maybe they'll do it on a next day or so after his order-and you might know your baby's sex! :)

Nicole,I wish your dream come true this year and we'll be blowing baby dust at you :)

Guys, thanks for the "poop recepies" :D

Hi Girls!
Hope you are all doing well. I have been busy with the boys but I feel like I am finally in a routine. I still have 8 weeks off after this week thankfully. They are getting so big. Today they are 4 months old!!! I want to wish all of you a happy NEW YEAR! I hope it brings health, happiness, baby dust and continued good health for the babes we may already have.

love,
Lisa :D

Hey Girls- I hope everyone's holidays were good. It is snowing here today (yuck!) 2009 is almost here! Happy new year to all!

I just rescheduled my next ob appt. I was supposed to go in on Jan 12 but decided to change it. I realized I have to have the second set of sequential b/w done after the 15th and didn't want to make a second trip out there to the lab (its across the st. from my dr.). So I pushed it off a few days and actually made the appt for the 20th now with my reg. ob guy. I hope he sets me up for an u/s. I would not mind a second trip out there for an u/s.

Nicole- My place schedules u/s at seperate appts only. The doctor wont do one at my 16 week visit. I would have to come back in on a different day with an appt. Hopefully he will put me in for one. We will see. Keep us posted on your GI appt. I hope they figure out what is going on.

Lisa- I am so glad you are getting into a routine with the boys. I can't imagine having 2. I know you must be exhausted.

Ronda- Its nice that you have such a great friend to call you skinny, but I am sure she is being honest and not just saying that. Keep up the good work. Right now I am definitely expanding so I only hope I can lose the "baby fat" when all is said and done. Although I have actually lost weight these past 13 1/2 weeks I had some extra lbs even before getting pg I hope I can get rid of after the baby.

Debby- I am happy all your children are doing well. It's nice to see the baby added to your username.

Marina- I know what you mean about not having the energy but I didn't have much of a choice. I took many naps in between cleaning and cooking for the holidays and the shopping was killer. I would hit one store and just be shot for the rest of the day. It was really hard. It's nice they are seeing and doing u/s so frequently on you. I will have more frequent u/s as I get further along because of the risk for IUGR (intrauterine growth retardation). They have to monitor me more closely toward the end of the 2nd trimester and throughout the 3rd to make sure my placenta does not develop any clots and that my dosage of meds is sufficient. As far as New Years I finally let the cat out of the bag so to speak. Everyone (family and friends knows I am pg now). So nobody will question why I am not drinking!

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!! :D

This is a question for all the gals who have done FET....give the scoop (cost, meds, how many to transfer (do they thaw them all and refreeze what you don't use????) I had 6 wk check up on Monday and everything is good. Ob/gyn suggested we wait a year b/f trying to get pg again.....but later relented and said Fall would be ok (any thougts on this timeframe?). So I just want some info so I will know what to expect. Thanks all!
